Artix smiles as he lightly slaps Chilly on the shoulder as they head back toward the Pathfinder headquarters.

Traveling back to the Grand Lodge
When you enter the Foreign Quarters a throng of people blocks the street ahead. A performance art group commandeers the street, drawing graffiti to create a jolly hellscape complete with illusory devils comically dancing around in circles. A few citizens avoiding the crowd slip off-street through a nearby alley, the only egress past the gathering.
Because the party's only two blocks removed from the Grand Lodge, you decide to take the alley as well. Amongst the people in the alley there are some familiar faces for most of you. Only Sparkle doesn’t recognize the people, but Orin notifies his master of the group’s presence.
While the party was in the Ivy District, from behind one of the trees a girl with full golden blonde hair framing her smiling face was staring at you. When her steely blue eyes met yours, she ran off. The girl's now in the alley. D on the map.

A misty vapor arises around you. As it does, everyone but you and the four that have been awaiting your arrival flees. The vapor obscures all sight, including darkvision, beyond 5 feet. A creature 5 feet away has concealment (attacks have a 20% miss chance). Creatures farther away have total concealment (50% miss chance, and the attacker cannot use sight to locate the target).
You all realize the four people waiting for you don't have good intentions. Because you recognize several of them, they don't have the advantage of surprise anymore.

Larkin appears from the mist, and stabs at Misarru with a rapier. Misarru dodges Larkin's attack with ease.

Recognizing the girl from the Ivy District, Artix tenses as the fog begins to roll in. He watches Misarru let loose with an arrow, but missing before a figure he doesn't recognize comes out of the mist and stabs at Misarru. Then the blast of magic slams into the wall.
"They've been tailing us for a bit." He grunts as he draws out shield before trying to slam it into the opponent's face.

"We're packed in here pretty tight. Need to get more room."
Artix will then step back to give Chilly a chance to move up. I think I can still take a 5 foot step since I haven't moved any this turn. If not, Artix will stay where he's at.

Orin misses his target, but the two attacks from Artix and Chilly are enough to drop Larkin. "No, they got me!" Larkin calls out to his allies before he falls over.
From the mist comes Ledford, carring a greataxe. "You went down this fast?! Bah, weakling!" The halfling swings his greataxe at Chilly. "You look strong! I'll take you down!"

Despite his big mouth, Ledford misses his target. Deandre then appears behind him, barely visible for those who are closest to her. She throws a dagger at Orin. "What the heck is that blue thing?!" Deandre shouts as her dagger hits Orin in the chest.

Misarru's stab with the dagger misses Ledford, but the halfling doesn't see the bite coming and feels Misarru's teeth sink into his arm. Ledford yanks his arms away and Misarru steps back. "He moved back 5 feet, Halli!" Ledford shouts.
"Okay!" sounds Halli's reply, and another acidic ray comes Misarru's way. Halli's aim is off though, and she misses Misarru.

Artix takes out his falcata and swings it at Ledford, cutting deep into the halfling's abdomen. Chilly then adds onto that damage, and cuts into Ledford's arm. "L-let's call it a draw!" Ledford stutters anxiously, "Please?!"

Sparkle's summon takes down Ledford, who screams like a little halfling girl when the eagle attacks him.
With Ledford down, Orin takes a 5-foot step forward to attack Deandre instead. (Unless Sparkle objects.) While clinging onto the wall Orin manages to bite Deandre, and rips her shoulder open.
Deandre curses when the eidolon hurts her. From Deandre emanates am aura of negative energy, which spreads as a shockwave and engulfs both the part and Deandre's only remaining ally.

Chilly stabs Halli in her stomach and she grabs hold of his arm. With the dagger still in her Halli moves her face closer to Chilly's. "Hello handsome," Halli says with blood dripping out of her mouth, "I like tough men, want a kiss?"
Halli laughs hysterically, then coughs up blood as she slowly sags against Chilly. After Chilly pushes her away Artix ends Halli's suffering with a swing of his falcata, and cuts off her head. With a grin on her face, Halli's head stares at Artix from the ground.
The mist disappears. Searching the bodies of their ambushers, the party finds several potions, scrolls and a nice sum of gold.
The party continues to the Grand Lodge to report the results of their tasks. Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin thanks the party for carrying out his tasks, and assures them that not every mission for the Pathfinder Society involves running errands about Absalom. He congratulates them on proving their skill and responsibility, and promises them a new assignment in the near future to take them beyond Absalom’s unassailable walls. Ambrus also sends out some people to clean up the alley.
Epilogue
Artix was glad he didn't have to travel around town with shady people anymore. He found himself an honest job at the butcher, so he could earn some extra coin before moving on to a new adventure. In an attempt to help his employer earn more money Artix thought of various sales strategies, which all failed. Artix was eventually fired after his last sales strategy involved constantly declaring different types of meat his 'Favored Enemy of the Day'.
Chilly received word Auntie Baltwin had been taken care of, and someone else was now in charge at the orphanage. Chilly returned to the orphanage to see what he, once an orphaned kid himself, could do to help the kids. The kids quickly came to like Chilly, especially when he taught them things like throwing knives and games like 'Run away, the guards are coming'. When Chilly left for a new adventure, Chilly told the kids he'd visit them again when back. The new head of the orphanage has meanwhile hired guards to keep him out.
Misarru got a job at a company that translated manuscripts from various languages. With his knowledge of various lesser known languages, Misarru was an asset to the company. Misarru then discovered he was working for someone he knew from his time as a little orphaned boy. His employer had been one of the kids that had treated Misarru like garbage, because Misarru was a tiefling of low birth. Misarry quit his job, and came back that evening. The following morning all locks had been picked, and all money was gone.
Sparkle took Orin to a therapist after the latter had constant nightmares about being blue, and living in a mushroom in the woods. Orin's therapist seemed a bit anxious every time the dragon came for counsel, and eventually had to find counsel himself. Sparkle spent the time in the waiting room, where he encountered Auntie Baltwin during each of Orin's sessions. The old woman hadn't completely finished changing her ways yet, but was trying to. Every time Sparkle met her in the waiting room Auntie Baltwin gave him a lolly, and asked him how school had been.
