We're playing the lower-tier, right? I've got a new magus 1 and a lvl 2 ranger/sor available.

This is a job for my new druid! Or my alchemist, whichever you prefer (:

While you can bring any character you want, I would suggest the lower tier, as some people are bringing completely fresh characters.

They are both level one, but I'll bring my alchemist (:

How is it that Roary has the long line of stats next to him, while I only have class and race?

The die roller is the website rolling for you. You can have it add any modifiers to your roll, too, so if you have a +2 to hit, type 1d20+2, and it'll do it for you. If you want, you can even add/subtract each modifier, if it helps you. 1d20+3+2-1, or whatever. You can type dice=blah blah to help describe your roll, as well.

If you hit reply to this post, you'll see how the following rolls are formatted.
Power attack, with flanking: 1d20 + 1 + 2 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 1 + 2 - 1 + 2 = 22
Damage, power attack, 2-handed: 1d8 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 1 + 2 + 1 = 8
Man, I'm going to wish I didn't waste that 18 later...

If you make a mistake formatting (like I did, typing damage= instead of dice= for the second roll), you have 10 minutes to edit it (I think, maybe it's a whole hour, though). It won't modify the roll.

As for the long line of stats, when you edit your profile, type the whole line in the classes/levels field.

Pretty sure I'm going with an Elven Rogue(Cutpurse), so you can list me as that.

I've put up the first gameplay post. I'll chase rpdjoker to check in - if he doesn't, we'll move on without him. Would you all be so kind as to include your basic stats in your character's header? You can accomplish that by going to your character profile and edit the 'race' 'gender' or 'class' line to include more than just 'Male'

For instance, one of my characters has 'Female Bard 2, HP 8/15 | AC 14, T 12, FF 12, CMD 13 | Fort: +1, Ref: +5, Will: +3 | Init. +2 Perc +4' in the 'race' line. Any other stats you 'd like to include are welcome as well (anything that helps me out is appreciated)

I see your using Dropbox for maps and such.. I will have to be moved as i cant access it from work at all..

Will probably make purchases this evening.

I've inserted a google drive alternative - probably won't work either (if dropbox is blocked, drive is likely to be blocked as well). Any particular solution that would work for you?

I usually move the token on the map myself, because I do a lot of offline map editing.

I can access google docs from work, so if you do maps from it i should be fine..

Purchases acid flask 10 gp, potion CLW (3) 150 gp, scroll of unseen servant 25 gp, antitoxin 100 gp, alchemist's fire 20 gp, cold weather outfit 8 gp, silk rope 10 gp Total 323 gp

That should be (2) antitoxin for that price.

Additional purchases everburning torch 110 gp, scrolls of endure elements 75 gp

Capture Kynn only? What, is he the prettiest or something? ;)

Also, it's novel to have a much higher-level meatshield along. "Stand behind the Roary 'Meat Mountain' Flamebearer may become my default tactic...

I would lave to have an avatar, if I can only figure out how.

Kynn is set up as a character/ alias under my regular name/ login of McScrewgunn, perhaps that is causing a glitch.

Kynn, to assign an avatar:

go to My Account (in bar at top of screen next to your username)
On the left a bit down the page should be a box titled Pathfinder Society.
Click the button Make Changes
Next to your character is the button Edit, click that
In that screen, the Character Image field is below the Faction selection. Click Change, then look through the pictures and select one (the button to actually select one pops up when you click a picture, at the bottom of the popup window).

And I'm pretty token and avatar are the same things. He's using our avatars as our 'token' on the map.

@Imperious: Fashionably late, but I don't see why you should not be allowed to join :)

Could you post as the character you want to play? We're in the first encounter, so just set up your character, and we'll find a suitable moment to join in (the conclusion of the battle seems right)

Is there no faction mission for the Sczarni?

Is this one of the seasons where the Grand Lodge does the Osirion mission?

Yes, from the top of my head (details are in the guide to online play):

GL uses Osirion mission
Sczarni use Taldor mission

The factions system was a bit different in season 2 - sczarni didn't exist back then, that's why

For future reference for my character, what will be the procedure on pick-pocketing and purse cutting? Normal DC 20 check for "taking a small item"?

We haven't seen Lorimsy in a while. I've kept her on the initiative list, but unless she checks in, we'll just skip her turn when it comes up - in which case I'll act as if she isn't in that room.

Also, for everyone else - wouldn't it be wise to try causing non-lethal damage? Generally speaking it's not cool to just up and murder people in a tavern brawl.

Im not here for a tavern brawl.. He wants that guys head.. Ill Use none-lethal on anything else though..

I kind of had the same feeling about the brawl. Though I did fully expect the fight with Hjort to finish here lethally.

Yeah, with Hjort as the exception. We wanted his head, and we got it...

I guess it depends on this: Kludde, the first guy tried to hit me with a chair (that dick... not gonna be gentle with him) but are the other patrons armed in any way? Knives, clubs, etc? Or are they fighting more or less empty-handed?

Hold up a sec... just actually checked the rolls against me. I don't think that critical should have confirmed, Kludde - I have an AC of 16. By my read I should have taken 5 nonlethal damage, not nine.

The first roll showed a 21, the second a 16. Perhaps I'm missing something, but if you ac is indeed 16, then rolling a 16 on the attack confirms the critical...

Ah hah, I think I must have been confusing the dice roll with the end score. Was at work at the time. Nevermind!

Yes, knew it was nonlethal. Not that I'd argue if Torrian happened to bite it at first level... all part of the game.

Re. Maps:

The minions were trying to be funny, and mislabelled all the google drive maps. Roary, let me know whether you can't open the maps or whether you can open them, but you're seeing strange results.

I need to keep reminding myself to copy the dropbox images to the gdrive images. Also, I'm using images, not drawings - that may be the difference. I've put the maps up so that 'anyone with the link can edit'.

Can any of the other players confirm that they can see the google drive maps?

I had access to the previous map and the handouts, but now nothing.. I use drawings not images, so that maybe the issue.. It's no biggie as long as someone can more me tactically..
