Eventually you get up to the storage Atrium. (area 9) Here there is the biggest pile of bodies yet.

Various parts of a dozen corpses lie strewn about the floor. Blood and gore stain everything, making the floor slick and filling the room with a metallic aroma. Bodies lie askew, mouths hanging open in silent screams, faces contorted in fear.

If I have cover from the red zombie:
Durgan aims a quick series of blows at the zombie, hoping to topple it so his companions have an easier time dispatching it.

Trying to trip the red zombie. It looks like it is around the corner so we have cover relative to each other, making it harder for me to hit but preventing it from taking an AoO.

With no way to get in Volar would likely try to find a way around, however that could potentially lead to triggering another encounter...

Unsure how he can help in the tightly packed room, Volar decides to wait until an opportunity comes up that he can take advantage of.

Lyana grunts from the impact of the zombies slam, then looks sideways at the noble. "...by your leave, sir." She brings her blade to bear upon the zombie in the red dress with an upward slashing movement as she takes advantage of the zombie climbing to its feet. Pivoting on her right foot, she then strikes at the zombile with the bright green sash with an overhead chop.

Yes, once again Deluge lobs a sling shot over the heads of the combatants to plink off of a zombies head, momentarily startling the near-mindless beast but doing no real damage.

Irisus sends in a jet of acid, but between the zombies being in combat with his allies -4 and the cover the same allies provide anotehr -4 It is almost impossible for him to land it accurately.

Durgan pushes into the room.

The zombies are far too slow to take advantage of the opportunity and hurt him. While they are distracted, Volar quickly heals Kilkrek a little.

The green zombie, distracted by Durgan, tries to bash him.
