About Ser Jec Leblanc

background:
Jec had a fairly normal childhood. As every boy dreams of becoming a soldier, Jec was no different. Upon his 16th name day he chose to join the local guard. Here he showed promise in using a sword. Shortly after his 19th name day he was chosen to join a group of 9 other guards to protect a local trade caravan going to a distant city. On the return trip they were set on by bandits. Jec was the only that survived though scarred for life. This incident is what prompted him to swear vow to live by the sword and eradicate all bandits he came across. In the next 10 years he had the opportunity to learn mounted combat and was giving the title of Cavilier.
