Will save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
I think the counter song happens before my turn, so even if I fail my will save I can still act like I want? Not that it matters right now, just moving through the water with a double move right now...which is what I would have to do otherwise as well.
Zahaz
|
@GM: You directed the tooth fairy attacks on Samaeon, but I think you meant to direct them at Zahaz or Dalangi. Samaeon is back in the outside hall. Assuming it is Zahaz who is attacked, here is a save for him.
Fort: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Zahaz takes a scratch from one of the little creatures, but shrugs off the paralytic side-effects. With the song urging him forward he is about to ignore them and press on, but then Shahrazad begins a countersong and breaks the enchantment. With a growl of rage he claws at the nearest flying creature.
Claw 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Claw 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

It appears the countersong happens before Fuzzfoot's turn too, so rather than moving toward the singer...
Fuzzfoot snaps out of his trance, and is thankful that another bard travels with him today. He then starts into beat poetry to inspire courage in his colleagues.
+1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +1 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls.

@Zahaz: They attack those with high charisma who are affected by the song and helpless, at their turn, you were the helpless high cha person (I cannot compare your Cha to that of Shah, as I do not know your Cha.)

Shah continues her song (just in case they try any more sonic shenanigans) as she slogs her way into the room.
Double move into the room.
Quillen
|
@Eponine: Still not sure if any special action is needed for a small creature to move through the water. With a 3rd move action this round, Quillen has covered 90ft (normal terrain) or 45ft (difficult terrain), which should hopefully get him to the singing nixie?. If he's moved too far, just let me know and move him back.
As Quillen marches steadily ahead, he narrows his eyes at the singing fey, and knowing his aim to be true regardless of the metal, he stabs at the creature.

The water is just difficult now as it is only a foot deep. No need to swim regardless of size. The Nixie is perched atop a head ten feet up. You will need to climb to get to her.I do not recall where you were in the hall, but assuming you were immediately behind Zahaz, it would take a double move to get to the wall,(I adjusted you to the wall) then you can climb 5 feet (1/4 your move) You are now 5' from the Nixie, and can strike.
Quillen's blade goes wide, but the mere force seems to spook the nixie, who scampers as quickly as she can, no longer singing, around the heads on the walls. Once a little further from Quillen, she casts a spell at the halfling.
Quillen Will: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (10) + 0 = 10
The two tooth fairy flit up near the ceiling, flanking the Nixie and also begin casting spells.
Zahaz
|
@Eponine: Charm person is normally tricky to cast in combat. If the creature is currently being threatened or attacked by you or your allies, however, it receives a +5 bonus on its saving throw. Does this apply to Quillen?
Zahaz growls as the little fey retreat and begin using magic. He quickly gives persuit, trying to climb to the Nixie.
Climb?: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

Quillen
|
Quillen, as he's no longer flat footed, would absolutely be using Charmed Life for a +2 on any Will Save (as that's his worst save). Presuming the +5 since we're in combat applies, he'd hit a DC17 check with the GM's roll.
Eponine Lokrien Savet
|
Quillen's charmed life continues, and he is able to shrug off the Nixie's spell.
Zahaz attempts to nab the Nixie! Zahaz, did you include the -4 for not having 2 hands free? (need one for climb). If yes, the Nixie is grappled! If no, the Nizie manages to dodge away from you.
As Zahaz's large claws move into grapple the smaller nixie, the strange creature bites at Zahaz's fingers!
To Hit: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Damage (if applicable): 1d4 ⇒ 1
The various mounts along the walls make for more than ample handholds. You can climb as easily as you could a ladder. If you taking 1 would result in a positive roll, you don't need to roll climb.

Assuming I have this correct, the ceiling is 15ft up, which means a creature that is 5ft up can strike a creature which is 10ft up (which is as high as a medium or smaller creature can be?).
Quillen, as a trained soldier who always favors having a free hand, scrambles up the handholds in pursuit of the nearest fey.
Climb: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Here's hoping the DC to climb using only a single hand (vs both hands) is DC5. :) If not, assume he uses the below roll for Climb (at +5) instead of attacking...
Quillen, balancing precariously (no Dex to AC while here I believe, dropping Quillen to AC16), stabs at one of the "fairies" that seems to be babbling in its strange arcano-fey tongue (the nearest fairy assuming Q climbs the wall he's standing next to).

Quillen stabs through one of the small fey, it goes instantly limp.
The sound of Shahs powerful flute seems to have disoriented all three of the faeries. Worse still for the fey, their leader seems to be suffering ill effects from Dalangi's powerful wand!

Some monsters and spells have the supernatural or spell-like ability to paralyze their victims, immobilizing them through magical means. Paralysis from poison is discussed in the Afflictions section.
A paralyzed character cannot move, speak, or take any physical action. He is rooted to the spot, frozen and helpless. Not even friends can move his limbs. He may take purely mental actions, such as casting a spell with no components.
