Almost simultaneously Magic Missles, Arrow and Elemental Flame barrel into the south monster (green). And all of them seem to be fully effective.

GM Phoenix Kyten
|
A bolt of fire and a Javalin fly into the Green Fleshwarp, pinning it to the wall behind it as it oozes out on to the floor (i.e. dead).
Kamainari and Zyneste aim at the remaining fleshwarp piercing it's skin. Leaving large rend and many deep arrows imbeded in it's flesh. Raynard's arrow hits as well, with only one glancing off into the wall. Can you roll damage? It may be dead
GM Phoenix Kyten
|
I did make wrong title of the second roll, it is damage. You did not see 1d8 dice rolll?
Missed that it was a d8, just saw the to hit part.
In that case, the last creature takes an arrow though the eye and is also dead. :)
Kolok Gallonica
|
With the creatures defeated Kolok turns to the fetchlings. Hello, are you all safe? Why are you down here?
GM Phoenix Kyten
|
They all look to each other for a moment, before one of them responds. "We are at least in one piece, you wouldn't happen to have any food by chance?" Another one speaks up, to answer the last question. "We were going to Kaer Maga, they said there would be a new life we could start there. We we're traveling the path when we got jumped by some dark skinned humanoids I never saw before."
They are all extremely malnourished as if they have not ate anything in quite sometime. They do not appear more than injured than minor bruising.
They are all chained to the wall behind them, they looks a bit hungry and as if they may have been here a bit.
Nemesis Melek
|
Auto-success on Heal.
"How long has it been since you've eaten?" Nemesis frowns curtly, takes out some of her trail rations, then turns to look at the rest of the party. "These people are starving. Anyone else have any food? Failing that, I can of course accept contributions of alms...."
I have 5 days' worth of trail rations. How much to they need, and what can everyone else contribute?
Kaminari Raijan
|
Auto-pass Perception
Raijan will also pull out some food, though he's not as well-stocked as Nemesis. Did we find any keys on those slavers earlier? We should get them down from these chains.
Zyneste Daiku
|
Zyneste also shares some of her food. She also carries 5 days worth of rations.
"Who locked you in those chains?" the monk asks in a quiet voice. "Where would we find them?"
Kolok Gallonica
|
Kolok looks over the chains to see if they can be unlocked.
Disable if applicable: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
I don't have anything that would help now but we can escort you to the city and make sure you get help there.
Tholl "11-toes" Bearcarver
|
After Tholl retrieves his javelin he joins the rest of the group. He takes some trail rations out and shares with the creatures. "Here, please. Have granola bar. Is my own special recipe."
GM Phoenix Kyten
|
"I'm not quite sure how long it's been. In Nidal it's always darkish but we still have some passing of day and night underground like this I'm sorry I'm not quite sure." One of them replies.
"They were tall, thin ish, looked kind of like an inverse elf. Dark skin but pointy ears, white hair. Didn't quite understand what they were saying."
"It's ok we're used to a bit of hardship, at least something is better than nothing. Any way you can point the way to Kaer Maga, we were headed there before."
And yes you can easily break their locks open with that skill check and free them.
Kaminari Raijan
|
Okay, first thing's first.
Lets get them out of this vault and up to the road. Raijan gives the speaker his Halflight charm.
We'd be happy to lead you the rest of the way to Kaer Maga, but we first need to make sure this vault doesn't have any surprises for the next set of travelers. If there's any trouble while we're gone, hold this charm and cry for help; it'll let our allies know where to find you. But don't go back in here! They've had trouble rescuing people in here recently.
Zyneste Daiku
|
As the fetchlings get tended to, Zyneste moves a short way ahead to scout out the next passage in case their are any enemies still lurking ahead.
Not sure if there are still unexplored areas, but just in case.

As Zyneste and Raynard move forward, they see two small creatures with three eyes and ragged red-streaked wings. They seem to be tossing back and forth between them a long strip of cloth and a stick of some sort.
These are Lamhigyn, CE Small extraplaner outsiders)
Questions if you want them.
The strip of cloth is a Belt of Incredible Dexterity +2
The stick they are tossing around is a Wand of Daylight, with 10 charges left on it.

Tholl moves up behind Zyneste, looking to see the creatures ahead. In spite of any noise hey make, He gets ant eerie feeling. "I do not like zis. It is qviet, too qviet."
Gamin, agreeing with Tholl, stays silent, for once.

Hello everyone. I'm a friend of your GM - she sent me a text message that she is in the hospital for an unexpected and very timely (but also what appears to be minor) surgery.
Because OutPost is almost over and she's not sure if she will be back online tonight, she asked me to help facilitate this combat. I'm on my phone right now but will be back on my computer in about 30 minutes, so stay tuned!

Constrict damage that Dire forgot: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Raynard took 12 damage, is grappled, blind, and needs a Fortitude save...(sorry, Raynard, must be a vulpine/canine thing)
Nemesis Melek
|
First of all, how much food must we collectively have provided the prisoners to sate their malnourishment?
Moving on, I notice I was left behind on the map; I would have kept up with the party. Can we say I start out behind Tholl? I'll have to settle for double-moving this turn if not, but if that's okay to say:
Nemesis advances with her unholy symbol, raising it above and over from behind Raynard's head like the rising of some terrible tiny sun. There is an intense shimmer around it as a concentrated blast of otherworldly, cold-burning power shines balefully down upon the hapless little face-hugger!
negative energy damage vs 'colorful' Lamhigyn, DC 17 Will save for half, get pushed 5 feet backward (diagonally) on failed save: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 2) = 11
The Dire GM
|
I'm positive GM Kyten will return in time to handle the food question for you. Since I read above that there were some map issues earlier, I'm fine with your placement suggestion. Also, nice to see you again, Nemesis! :)
Will Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
The Lamhigyn shrieks as it's blasted by the unholy flames of Ymeri! Further, the force of the blast knocks it away from Raynard!
Still need a Fortitude save vs poison from Raynard, but he is no longer grappled or blinded. Well played, Nemesis!
Tholl and Zyneste can still take actions at this time!
Colored Lamhigyn 11 damage
Zyneste Daiku
|
Casting her mind back to days in her youth hunting ducks with her father, Zyneste calmly steps forward and lets loose another volley of arrows at the creatures.
Spend 1 ki point to add 1 attack to flurry. Attacks on nearest Lamhigyn first and then move onto the further one if the first one goes down.

The echoing sounds of battle in the vault fade from the monk's mind as the arrows course through the air one after the other like birds in flight. The first strikes true, causing the extraplanar beast to dip in the air ever so slightly...which makes her second arrow pass just above it. The third arrow, however, also hits its target, but the spiked monstrosity remains hovering!
Colored Lamhigyn: 28 damage
Tholl still has time to take action before the second Lamhigyn can turn its ire on you and your charges!
Tholl "11-toes" Bearcarver
|
Tholl moves forward 20 ft. and readies to attack with Gamin should either of the creatures come within striking range of the sentient sword, focusing his strength to hit harder Power Attack w/ Furious Focus. Gamin casts Guidance on Tholl.
In case that happens... attack: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 8 + 1 = 20
damage w/ PA: 1d8 + 13 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 13 + 4 = 20
The Dire GM
|
Tholl advances, Gamin already preparing to aid the warrior - just in time, too, as the gray lamhigyn angles slightly upwards and then right towards Tholl and the others, unleashing an abyssal roar!
Tholl's blade bites deep, even as the creature lashes out with an envenomed stinger!
Sting: 1d20 + 10 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 10 + 1 = 21
Piercing Damage: 1d3 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 *

Murderous command again, DC18 will save or attack its ally on its next turn
Focus your attacks, lets bring these things down quickly.
