Khalbar Bloodsong
Khalbar is stunned by the Captain's words. "Harm is my son, where is he now? Can you get word to the ship to return that boy to me here in Varisia? If not, how do I get to Andoran fastest?
"I do not know these Thistletop goblins, but perhaps others from this area do?". He asks Rosy and 'Dada as they lope along towards the port.
Seeing the fireworks and the ships, Khalbar is momentarily taken aback. He has not seen either of these things firsthand before.
Master Of The Games
Lt. "Hawkeye": Stopping and letting down Rosy she turns to Khalbar as the Halflings and Gnome both stop and stand at attention in a typical Andoran Military Salute."The ship isn't able to return here. Though in a few Months we are heading back to Andoran. You are more than welcome to join us. Otherwise it is around a 5 or 6 Month trek through the wilds. About the Thistletop Goblins... They are a fairly local Goblin Tribe. They are rumoured to be under the forced command of a Woman with a Demonic Arm. We suspect, if the rumours are true, that the Woman is a Tiefling, some form of Fiend, or a Possessed Human."Turning a scolding motherly look to the Halflings and Gnome she finishes."Feel free to search through everything. Ask the 3 Little Ones if you have any questions or need help."
Khalbar Bloodsong
"Well if my son is out of reach for the present time, then I will focus my search here for my wife and with these goblins of Thistletop. But first we will see what is in these ships."
Khalbar jumps aboard and they begin the process of looking through the ships from bow to stern. He is especially keen for any artifacts of his family or tribes presence on board.
Gudada Purrun
Following Khalbar onboard the first ship, 'Dada will interrupt him early in the search. "I understand that you are looking for specific things, but this is also a reward. Take the time to search properly. Carefully and systematically. There's no telling what we might find."
Master Of The Games
You find a lot of smaller Bobbles of Shoanti, Halflings, and even Varisian make.
@Khalbar: There are articles of your Wife's Clothing. You also find a Symbol of your tribe scratched, with the same flaws your son would always make when he would practice drawing it, in a Wooden Plate that makes up a rough leather belt's Buckle.
@Gudada: You find numerous Varisian Garments. Most notably a Nobles Outfit with around 1000GP worth of Varisian Jewelry collected together. The pieces are worthless separately but together are worth a small fortune.
@Rosy: You see that the Scouts have a Small Horde of Fireworks collected. After they got their orders they have stopped setting them off in favor of iving them to the Town to set off for the Festival. They also have a bunch of Dwarven Crafted Toys and Bobbles that are filled with Minor Magic. But there is a book present that seems out of place among the loot. The others have no idea why it is there or what it is.

Rosy glances up at the gnome with a smile. "Excellent! I'm sure the kids will be very happy." But its obvious that most of Rosy's attention is focused on the book.
She squints at it, and scratches at her chin, "I'm pretty sure this book is hiding some secrets. Do you mind if I study it in a bit more depth?"
Master Of The Games
Gnome Scout: "Take it. We didn't even know it was there."
@Jakob: You see a bunch of supplies in one of the Holds, a seemingly large room but that has a smaller and lower door, as you walk by when you peek in to see what exactly your view is blocked by a Dwarf's Butt as he is searching through a Chest.
Master Of The Games
Dwarf Chef: He jumps when you speak. And after he settles down he speaks."Aye. You da 'eroes I been 'earing 'bout? You have a little one mage with you?"Behind him you see the Chest flash with light while humming. As the Chest Flashes the Dwarf jumps and yells.
@Rosy: You suddenly feel your spellbook whip out of your sleeve and touch the new book you are holding. You see a flash and see your spell book disappear. When the book falls it reveals all your Necromancy, Divination, and Illusion Spells in the Book.
Rosy Trill
Rosy squawks and drops the book, surprised. Then she looks through it again with a frown.
Necromancy and Illusion are her forbidden schools, so she doesn't have any of those. :)
"Well, that'd be handy if it copied all of them..." She grumps. Now she'll have to rewrite them all. Still, she tucks the book into the crook of her arm.
Master Of The Games
Dwarf Chef: "Actually we already have one of these accursed things so your Mage could have it. It is a collection of Books that store Spells from every book it encounters. Destroying said book in the process. Each of the Books also acts as a Blessed Book."
Oh it also copies any Non-PRD Spell in your Book.

Khal takes the items from his wife and apparently his son. He is quite frustrated to be this close to them without being able to find them directly. He finds out when the ship sails again for Andoran and vows to be on it when it leaves in a month.
In the meantime, he plans to search for the Thistletop Goblins until he finds evidence of his wife.
The rest of the things aboard the ship hold little interest for him but he goes through the motions of looking around anyway.
Master Of The Games
It is actually 2 Months and 20 Days... (The Ship is referencing my IRL Game...)
Dwarf Cook: Smiling he gets the book from you while promising you will like what happens next. He then walks over to the chest and returns the book to the chest, shuts it, then presses a rune on the top. You witness the Chest transform into a small leather bound book with what appears to be an adamantine lock and key. The Dwarf then walks over to you and hands it to you and describes that if you take the key and give it your blood you will become the books Master.
Do you accept?
Master Of The Games
As you touch the key it disappears and you feel a surge of power through your arm and a slight burning over your heart. And the Lock Transforms into a Serpent that coils around itself into an Ouroboros Symbol on the front of the book with an Adamantine Band around the book. As you touch it you see the Serpent unlatch its tail and the piece of the band on the unbound side disappears. As you open it the book has a page describing how to use the book. It also has a list of schools of Magic. The Dwarf explains that the book works by you choosing the School then the spell, and then you are able to memorize the spell.
He also states that the Books true power awakens if you choose to bond with it.
As Jakob watches he inadvertently leans on a suit of Armor. The Armour then seems to speak to him.
"Armour?": "Would you ever so kindly get off of me?"
Gudada Purrun
'Dada gathers together the rather large collection of baubles, stares at the pile for a few moments, and goe looking for a sack to haul them in. Assuming he eventually finds one, he'll return to the stack and start loading the bag up.
"Interesting cargo, I think."
Rosy Trill
Rosy observes the action of the book with a curious eye. Out of the front of her dress peeks the curios green head of Petal, who flicks its tongue at the adamantine snake and the pages of the book.
"I know, its strange," Rosy murmurs to her familiar, "We'll study it some more later, shall we?"
Jakob Giesler
To Rosy Jakob replies. uhh your welcome, but I didn't really do anything.
Jakob leans back an hears a voice behind him turning to excuse himself for his inadvertant misstep.
Ohh I am sorry I did... not... see ...
As he realizes there is no one there but a suit af armour he takes a step back. He stare momentarily at the armour and then decides to finish his statememt.
there. So if I may be so bold as to ask how a suit of armour vomes to speak? It does seem quite amazing.
Jakob is nudging Rosy as he talks is if to say "are you seeing this!?"
Gudada Purrun
And with little thought (or real effort, since each bauble is actually fairly small), 'Dada puts the stack of baubles in the bag.
Jakob Giesler
Ahhh that is an interesting story. I will keep it short for you.
still amazed at talking to a weapon but also intrigued Jakob continues
I was born to a man who was very abusive so I left home at an early age and lived off the streets begging and well stealing what I could. But a good cleric of Torag found me. His name was Morgrym Rogar. Well he took me in and taught me the way of Torag and I studied, worshiped, and trained until I became a full cleric and am now setting off to find my way according to Torag. My hope is to become a great battle cleric and spread the glory of Torag. So that is my tale in short. What is yours?
not knowing if the warhammer can see his holy symbol or not Jakob holds it up to the weapon.
Master Of The Games
Hammer: Your symbol flies and connects to him and is absorbed into the Hammer."Names Arzug. I was once a Mighty Crusader of Torag who was slain in battle with a Mage ages ago. The Blaggard sealed my soul into my Hammer. Is seek revenge against him his name is... BAH! I can't remember his name! Would you be willing willing to aid me? I feel powerful but I can't remember how to use my power..."
Gudada Purrun
The young Varisian grins at Rosy in response to her question. "Well, I think I have found the largest single collection of minor jewelry ever seen! Let's see, there was a nice waist chain I saw . . .." He digs around in the bag for a moment before producing a simple silvery chain, with green glass beads suspended from it irregularly along it's length. "You might need to wrap it around you two or three times, but I think this piece would go very well with what you're wearing. Or would you rather look through them yourself?"
Gudada Purrun
He looks at her, confused for a moment, and then back at the bag of baubles. "Really? Well, I don't have any special ability to see them for more than they appear to be. Can you check them for your 'odd properties'?" He grabs the mouth of the bag with his right hand and the bottom with his left, but doesn't dump it, looking to Rosy instead.
Gudada Purrun
"Well, you realize that baubles are usually just baubles, right?"
Khalbar Bloodsong
"Bah, foolish enchantments! All that really matters is muscle, bone and sinew. Isn't there some real loot on this ship, if not let's be off and to finding these Thistletop goblins."
