Ops, sorry, I thought the men would respond to Biggs, and there would be a bit of back and forth before the eventual unavoidable fight! Ok, let's take a readied action then: the first enemy to take a hostile action against us (verbal threatening, unsheathing a weapon, coming closer with the obvious intent to attack, etc...) will have a nice birdie summoned right on top of his head! ;p
Celestial Eagle - Summon
Sure thing! Here are the eagle's actions, in the event she gets summoned. Full-attack on nearest enemy (she gets summoned adjacent to the enemy triggering the readied action), using Smite Evil.
*SHRIEK!*
Attack (Bite): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Attack (Talon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Attack (Talon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Damage (Bite): 1d4 ⇒ 3 + 1 if target is evil
Damage (Talon: 1d4 ⇒ 3 + 1 if target is evil
Damage (Talon: 1d4 ⇒ 2 + 1 if target is evil
Also, Anežka's roll vs Fatigue
Fortitude vs Fatigue (DC 16): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
EDIT - I keep having problems posting... I click submit, and half the time the page goes in timeout, and I have to send the post again! It's just my crappy internet or it's the forums here? -.-'

You must not know who owns this building.
All three of then draw guns. Yes guns. The eagle attacks the top of the triangle and hits twice, he steps back and fires at the eagle covered on purple mist but he misses the other two fire at Biggs, hitting once for 6 damage.
Anezka notes that they are all humans...
can you 5 ft the top of the triable diagonal please and the other two away from each other?
Go heroes
Biggs Longshaft
"gods that hurts! What sort of contraptions are those?! Who owns this building? Gah, screw it all!"
do I need to squeeze past the barrels to reach the closest guy? If not, I'll use my Warhammer, if I can't reach in one turn I'll cast an acid dart
hammer time!: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 5 + 1 = 151d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
*or*
acid bolt: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 1 = 91d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Anežka Tzvana
I'm assuming Anežka vaguely knows of guns (she was exposed to many different ideas and concepts when she studied at the Acadamae), but has never actually seen a real one. If you want I can roll some sort of knowledge check, I'm not sure...
"What the..." - Anežka stares agape at the bizarre contraptions the men are using, until a glimmer of recognition shines in her eyes - "Firearms! Guns! I've never seen one before, but I've heard of them... They seem magical, but they're not! They are like a very complex... Uh... Mechanism of some sort... Fascinating!"
Finally snapping out of her wonder-induced paralysis, Anežka decides to press the advantage and keeps summoning allies to overwhelm their opponents.
Standard to Acadamae-Graduate-Summon, move to take cover behind the barrels.
Fortitude vs Fatigue (DC 16): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
Celestial Eagle - Summon
The first Eagle emits a deafening shriek and presses the attack against the wounded gunman.
Eagle 1 5-foot-steps, then full-attacks wounded gunman.
Attack (Bite): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Attack (Talon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Attack (Talon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Damage (Bite): 1d4 ⇒ 3 + 1 if target is evil
Damage (Talon: 1d4 ⇒ 1 + 1 if target is evil
Damage (Talon: 1d4 ⇒ 3 + 1 if target is evil
As the second Eagle pops up into existence over the head of the wounded gunner, she joins the fray without hesitation, trying to gauge the man's eyes with her mighty talons and wickedly sharp beak.
Eagle 2 full-attacks wounded gunman, from a flanking position thanks to Eagle 1.
Attack (Bite): 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 3 + 2 = 15
Attack (Talon: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 3 + 2 = 22
Attack (Talon: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 3 + 2 = 22
Damage (Bite): 1d4 ⇒ 4 + 1 if target is evil
Damage (Talon: 1d4 ⇒ 3 + 1 if target is evil
Damage (Talon: 1d4 ⇒ 2 + 1 if target is evil

Eagle 1 - 2/3 Rounds (1 more round to go)
Eagle 2 - 1/3 Rounds (2 more rounds to go)

The one being attacked by birds steps around them both aoos fail to penetrate his armor as he moves he stuffs an odd bit of paper into his gun and then fires at anezka. The ball slams into her head and only the magic armor she has prevents her from never seeing another day yes an unconfirmed crit! Though had I confirmed off screen I would have rerollled the confirm on screen Amezka is shaky after taking 5 damage
The gunman on the far side of the table moves up and fires across the room at anezka, a harder shot but he seems to grit his teeth and fire anyhow, it strikes anezka a arm for another 5 damage, though he provokes from the eagle and takes a nasty cut on the arm for his trouble a max damage crit
The foe fighting Biggs moves back and does the odd paper trick and sends a ball slamming into him again dealing 5 damage
perhaps you should be surrendering now.
Anežka Tzvana
How did they manage to fire at Anežka? She took a move action to squeeze back past the barrels for cover (it's in her last post, before the eagles actions).
EDIT - Just went to look at the map, and Anežka is not where she should be. Or at least I could've sworn I moved her back behind the barrels... I'm confused! O.o'
Biggs Longshaft
Biggs winces as another ball strikes through his armor.
"curse you! This was some if me father's finest work!!
He points his hammer at the closest thug to him.
"fall before the power of our lord Torag and beg his cleric for your forgiveness!"
casting command, word fall
Biggs Longshaft
Biggs will then use his move action to get next to the thug to take advantage if an AoO when / if the thug tries to stand up or shoot.
Anežka Tzvana
That is how cause I used the map!
Hate to be a pain but at this point let's go with it too much of a retcon and too hard to phone post
Ok, the show must go on! ;p
But damn! That was close!... Being only a party of two, against opponents of our level we basically risk to wipe every single round, we just need a few unlucky rolls and BAM! We're done for! O.o
Uhm... We might need to find some kind of solution to this problem (cohorts? a NPC party member? Less powerful enemies? Something else? O.o').
Celestial Eagle - Summon
Ok, let's finish this quickly! Anežka and Biggs are too important to waste their time with mere thugs! xD
Anežka cries in pain, staggering backward a few steps before regaining her balance. Well aware they need to finish the fight quickly or risk being defeated (and possibly killed), she musters her resolve and keeps casting her deadly spells.
Anežka summons a third eagle, then runs out of the building (not just behind the barrels).
Not knowing how much health the thugs have (I'm talking about me, not Anežka) nor their names/number, will be a bit of a pain now, 'cause I'll be making a post with quite a few if/then actions... Sorry!
Eagle 1: Keeps attacking nearest thug. Full-attack with flanking. At the end of this round, she disappears. POOF!
Attack (Bite): 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 2 = 11
Attack (Talon: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 3 + 2 = 24
Attack (Talon: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 2 = 7
Damage (Bite): 1d4 ⇒ 4 + 1 if target is evil
Damage (Talon: 1d4 ⇒ 4 + 1 if target is evil
Damage (Talon: 1d4 ⇒ 4 + 1 if target is evil
Eagle 2: if previous thug still alive, keeps full-attacking. Otherwise moves and attacks prone thug (in this case she makes only one attack of couse, but moves so she gets flanking bonuses with Biggs, so she gets her +2 anyway. In this case, take the first attack of the following).
Attack (Bite): 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 3 + 2 = 25
Critical Confirmation Attack (Bite): 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 3 + 2 = 16
Attack (Talon: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 2 = 6
Attack (Talon: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 3 + 2 = 23
Damage (Bite): 1d4 ⇒ 4 + 1 if target is evil
Possible Critical Damage (Bite): 1d4 ⇒ 3 + 1 if target is evil
Damage (Talon: 1d4 ⇒ 1 + 1 if target is evil
Damage (Talon: 1d4 ⇒ 1 + 1 if target is evil
Eagle 3: if first thug alive, she is summoned near him and full-attacks him. Otherwise, summoned near prone thug and full-attacks that one.
Attack (Bite): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
Critical Confirmation Attack (Bite): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
Attack (Talon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Attack (Talon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Damage (Bite): 1d4 ⇒ 1 + 1 if target is evil
Possible Critical Damage (Bite): 1d4 ⇒ 4 + 1 if target is evil
Damage (Talon: 1d4 ⇒ 3 + 1 if target is evil
Damage (Talon: 1d4 ⇒ 1 + 1 if target is evil
Ok, this post was a bit of a mess. I hope I didn't make any mistakes... Also, those thugs better die soon, don't force me to summon MORE eagles... You know imma do it! I'm crazy! xD
MiniGM
They are 1 level below you with 15 pt buys, and basic gear. Also you didn't have to slam through the door ready to fight. Honestly I put this on poor tactics, but that is fine you will get better together. I will also point out that originally they were in wonderful color spray formation.
Waiting for you to act anezka
Anežka Tzvana
On the map, I didn't move Eagle 1 and 2, and put 3 near the prone gunman... But that's just speculation! Please see post above for 'real' positions... And again, sorry about this mess!
Anežka Tzvana
I will also point out that originally they were in wonderful color spray formation.
I love color spray... But its range is abysmal! To use it in a situation like that, I'd have to walk up to them and cast it... They fail, we win, they save, I die! O.o... And I don't want to die! xD
MiniGM
I will switch to numbers not pictures in the future when've have a computer again
The prone thug and one other thug go down. [ooc]. Really you couldn't get full attacks on one of them but I have not moved anything so I am to blame so let's call it good and two of them are down only the one Mot near Biggs or the door
The one remaining moves to the barrels and fires at Biggs striking him for two points of damage
Go heroes

just got home from a concert with my dad. Saw roger clyne, our favorite. Show was great!
Biggs winces once more as another billet hits him. He then rushes forward with his hammer.

Biggs will quickly go around and take the guns and ammo from all the thugs, as well as other weapons or items they could use.
He will then find some rope (I imagine there's some laying around) and tightly tie the thugs all up.
"Nez, don't worry I clobberered them! Come, let me heal ya!"
channel: 1d6 ⇒ 1
channel: 1d6 ⇒ 5
this should also wake up the thug for questioning
Anežka Tzvana
"...It's over?" - Anežka asks surprised once she steps back into the room, carefully looking around for any sign of danger - "Are you alright Biggs? Whoa, I'm so relieved! When I was wounded I ran outside to drink a healing potion in safety. I wanted to come back and help finish those bastards... But it seems you have anything under control here!"
After accepting the precious healing and thanking her friend profusely, Anežka takes a closer look at the fascinating contraptions that only moments before almost spelled their deaths.
Awakened by all the fuss, Vexus lazily and grumpily comes out of his hiding spot in the hidden pocket of Anežka's cloak, and once again perched on his mistress's shoulder, starts to scan the room for anything suspicious.

Perception, Vexus: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

So apparently Anežka's head is still spinning from the hits she got, Vexus is half asleep and can't see nuthin', but when it comes to money Nezzy always knows how much things are worth! xD

When the thug comes to, Biggs will grab him by the collar and say:
"why did you attack us so! You coul have answered the door! Now tell me where this dwarf is that cut out belgruns eye. The time has come for him to face the consequences if his actions!"
Biggs Longshaft
so 741 gold if we sell everything?
these 'guns' are worth a fortune... I wonder if more are laying about...
"well, I would have certainly not shot first asked questions later! We were told a dangerous criminal was hiding here, we could not afford to take chances. Now tell me where he is and your life will be spared!"
Anežka Tzvana
you burst through the door with your weapon drawn and armored for war! What would you have done!
I hate to admit it, but he does have a point! (>.<)'
so 741 gold if we sell everything?
But it was worth it! We are rich! RICH I TELLS YA! xD
Anežka Tzvana
Where did you find these strange weapons? Did you buy them somewhere? Someone gave them to you?... Do you know anything about their construction?" Anežka's eyes almost sparkle with curiosity.
Biggs Longshaft
"ignore me one more time, filth, and I swear to our bearded lord of the forge you will never seen your home of alkenstar again!"
Biggs raises his hammer menacingly.

i don't know what your talkin about dwarf. No one lives here it is a warehouse. And it is only polite to answer a lady first. Not to mention she summoned her eagles before we ever shot. You barged in and attacked us. So if you are going to kill me, since you have already robbed me, it is obvious that you are lawless ruffians intent on larceny and murder.
He closes his eyes ready for the attack.

Biggs stares blankly and lowers his hammer.

this is riddle port girl thieves are everywhere if someone bursts into your room girded for battle you draw a weapon. Don't be stupid. Try knocking.
I can't recall but I think they drew after the summoning. Anezka
Nope, it was a readied action, in response to the gunmen doing something hostile. Anežka doesn't go around killing people, she just defends herself (that's the way she puts it, anyway!) ;p
"And that way you get killed, you idiot!" - Anežka dismisses the man's claim with a flick of her wrist - "You just needed to answer our questions, but no! You decided to throw away your lives like that... Truly, what a waste..." - she sighs loudly and shakes her head, irked at the situation.
"oops... Did we not knock? Nez, I swear we tried to knock? ... "
"Bah! Even so, doesn't change a thing. We asked a question, and they attacked us; we just defended ourselves!" - Anežka crosses her arms and puffs, convinced that even if the results were gruesome, she isn't at fault.
Biggs Longshaft
"easy, I ain't here ta kill ya, and I just healed yer wounds, and I reckon I was gonna untie you guys, assuming you aren't gonna attack us again. This here's a big ol' misunderstanding involving some misinformation..."
gm, did my sense motive tell me anything?
Anežka Tzvana
"Would you stop being so melodramatic already?" - Anežka rolls her eyes and lightly slaps the man on the back of the head, the way you'd do with an unruly child - "Just answer our question, tell us what we want to know, and then you'll be free to go. And if after that you still feel like 'you no longer care', go spend some coin at a gambling hall, or the arena, or a brothel, and have some fun... Or don't, the life is yours after all, do whatever you want with it." - she shrugs and turns her back to the man, resuming her inspection of the room.

He is honest Biggs, and seems very upset that you appear to be taking their guns, almost seems personal.
I answered your question girl. No one lives here it is a warehouse. We are from alkenstar. Now finish your robbery and go.
Biggs again he is telling the truth, and he has answered all questions.
