Murder Monk stands in his holding cell looking around at the monitors displaying the faces and names listing his fellow contestants. He smiles as he looks at their petty crimes of mass murder.
Soon they would learn the true horror that waits in the dark. Killer robots? Pathetic. Redemption? Impossible. Morality? Irrelevant.
Murder Monk closed his eyes and prayed knowing that the time of illumination was at hand. An evil smile spreads across his face.

Because someone asked me about the first half round:
No abilities are used in this half-round, I want to have a full week of survival before the blood begins. The only thing happening on Monday is that the Team Leader election ends for the first round, so that there is one on the first death vote.

Welcome Mattie.
As far as I see you're doing real well for this being your first forum RP. This is my first forum RP in Paizo and it's a bit different from what I'm used to which is good. New experiences and all right?
Cthulu mini? Dang that sounds good. Oh well. My Christmas Cthulu plush is good enough I suppose :)
*bows to Aaron* If you must watch me at least make sure to watch your back as well. We don't want your mind to be too stuck on one person ;)

It appears I've RP'd myself into a corner by mistake.
I thought the Scanbot was one of the good guys as the "Scanner" role has been in previous games. After re-reading the rules I just found out that he's a bad guy.
I'm just going to say that I'm not the Scanbot. I tried to allude people into thinking I was a different role in the same way Meows mentioned was possible in the Campaign tab. It was a silly mistake, however if your suspicions still cost me the round I'll understand.

Since it was in OOC text, I didn't think we were free to act on it.

So very few people voted this round in comparison to most games that I've participated in before. I am wondering if perhaps I should extend the rounds to one week in length in order to give people more time to participate? Does anyone have thoughts on the matter? I am hoping that everyone playing has a good time, but if people are feeling unmotivated to play, what can I do to make things more engaging? I would like some feedback in terms of what you, the players, think.

Alright, I will officially make the vote time one week, just so that our people all get a chance to vote. However, with this change in schedule, if someone does not post in a voting period then they will be disqualified from the Deathmatch. I don't like doing that, because that can hurt whatever side you're on pretty significantly, but I don't want this to drag on forever. If you post in discussion to say you're on vacation or your fingers have been hit by a truck, or pm me or something like that, I will count it as a post. I hope that you will all have enjoyed and will enjoy the game from here on out, and if there is anything I can do to make it more engaging for you, please let me know!

The Deathmatch is the title, yeah. I was considering having it be a free for all brawl by which votes would be based on who did what to who, but the roleplay aspect to that seemed kind of limited. Still, all of these matches end with death, and thus deathmatch is still perhaps appropriate, even if the contest is not necessarily violence.

Alright, so, this week a couple of powerful Criminal side roles were disqualified, now balancing things rather heavily towards the robot end of things... Even though Velval was voted down, I consider him to have been disqualified, as the reason he was voted for was because he would be disqualified anyways. Two snitches and a heister were disqualified. I am wondering how I can make up for that, as that is two powerful information gathering roles and one communication role... I do not want this to be unenjoyable as a result of random chance for who didn't play.

Should I even continue? That's the question I've been asking myself. With participation as low as it has been, I am wondering if there is anything that I should have done differently, and alterations I should have made in order to make this game more engaging? This has been the game with the lowest level of participation since I have started watching these mafia games being played. I've been wanting to provide a fun and different setting for the Deathmatch Extravaganza, but perhaps it would have been better if I had just gone for vanilla werewolves, gone simpler rather than adding any signature roles?
I want feedback, this is my first time running this sort of thing, and I feel like I have failed spectacularly. I want to learn from it... but if I have been doing something wrong, I hope that people would have told me before I crashed and burned as terribly as this game has. I put a lot of work into it... and I do not like putting in a lot of work into something if I can't at least learn from it...

Awww, crazy busy week. I can't believe I didn't get a vote in :(
This game certainly had all the right elements, and you've been a good sport Meows- I've thoroughly enjoyed reading all of your narrative posts. We had a great cast and some really fun scenes... I really can't figure out what went wrong; I'm not sure why things have tapered off so much in these final rounds.
For my part, it's been an issue with my work and family life suddenly leaving me with much less free time. I'm very slow at getting in character and composing posts and usually have to go through a fair bit of brainstorming and drafting before I have something worth posting. Catching up on my PbPs was cutting into my sleeping time and left me shambling through the day like a zombie several times. I've had to severely cut back on my writing time, but I'm still disappointed that I didn't manage to get at least a 'keep alive' post in here.
