"And now, Team Loser! For your lack of contributions of good ideas that can go on television, I sentence Hamish Cunningham to death!" An anvil, out of seemingly nowhere, falls down upon the goat. Gears and sparks fly everywhere. "Well, congratulations my clever criminals! You've found a killer robot!"

CoreWars 2074
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- -

Name: /Hamish

Origin of code: Mishap caused by the ColdStar's supercomputer

Backstory: Little did the other foreign residents of the ColdStar know that the Mutant Scanner Hamish had found possessed a host of additional functions. One of which was the ability to perform a complete brain scan. This ability was discovered while travelling through the air vents aboard the ColdStar. Hamish immediately saw the advantages of backing up his conscious to a computer should his cohorts ever turn on him. Good thing too since not long after that his bones were sucked out and his mangled husk of a body was hurled back into the same vent from which he made his discovery. The brainscan file was eventually backed up to the supercomputer aboard the ColdStar and amalgamated into the CoreWars program some years later.

Program's Persona: The personality of Hamish Cunningham minus the accent with a touch of Dr. Zoidberg.

Program's Iconography: Just as Hamish Cunningham in goat form, only comprised of pixels.

Status: Deceased
Cause of Death:

After making his opinions known the goat goes back to grazing and sedately watches traffic go by. Suddenly his eyes go wide with terror and his icon undergoes random fluctuations in size, shape, and color. "But... I didn't want to know the square root of infinity..." In a final gruesome explosion, the HAMISH CUNNINGHAM program perishes. Only scattered bits and scrambled subroutines are left of the taciturn goat.

Name: Ha-a-a-a-amish Cunningha-a-a-a-a-am

Planet of Origin: Earth

Species: Capra Aegagrus Hircus (The Domestic Goat)

Backstory: The body Hamish inhabits is that of a regular domestic goat but it is not his own. The last events that unfolded in his former life were aboard the airship known as The Queen Courier, where his Aristocrat consociates were locked into an investigation to uncover the identities the Assassins that were trying to kill them. When the Assassins slipped a neurotoxin into Hamish's whiskey in an effort to silence him, Hamish's body was completely paralyzed. The Aristocrats and the Queen Courier staff mistook Hamish for dead and with no proper way to store the body for the remainder of the voyage, simply threw him overboard. Luck would have it that an alien ship was passing at the time. They noticed Hamish's distress and rescued him from his fatal decent. Hamish was brought to the ships sick bay where the visitors labored to fix his poisoned body but their efforts were met with failure. The only option to save Hamish was to transfer his brain into another body. The only available host was a lab animal that had been recently collected from a nearby petting zoo. The transplant was a success. Due to their tight time frame though the visitors could not leave Hamish on his native planet and instead dropped him off at their next destination, the Cold Star. Hamish has resided here ever since.

"7 Sentient Beings Detected. 2 Council Agents Detected. 1 Mutant Detected." The computer rattles it's numbers off precisely and without relish. Upon the declaration each of you check about to find Hamish Cunningham's boneless body smashed into the vents. His Mutant Scanner (Where had he been hiding it?) pushed into his mouth and broken.

Ryuko's Mystery Murder Tour

Name: 'Amish Cunningham
Country: Scotland

One or two lines about appearance:
Hamish is quite possibly the youngest person on board The Queen Courier. Red haired and freckled Hamish packs quite an attitude for a so-called Aristocrat.

Recent family history–why do they need to take handouts? Are they poor, or merely shameless?
At the age of 19, Hamish is frequently mistaken among The Queen Courier's blueblood's as being one of the Aristocrats sons merely tagging along for the ride. Following the recent and suspicious death of Hamish's mother and father, what should have been an impressive inheritance was instead the discovery of how bad off the Cunningham family actually was. In order to pay off the massive debts, the family estate was auctioned off and Hamish was left penniless. With the prospect of starting over and regaining his fortunes, Hamish has eagerly accepted Eichorn von Ryuko's handout.

Why would an assassin want to kill them?
Good question! Why would an Assasin want to murder a penniless child?

Having not come to an agreement, the nobles go to their beds without being sure of which among them may die within the days or nights.

The nobles were shocked to awaken and find that none of their number had died within the night. Expressions of confusion are thrown around in every direction. Could the investigators have been wrong? Could there have been no assassins on the airship at all?

Hamish Cunningham seems unconvinced. "They're here all right. I suspect that the insulter simply found no rooms open for him to-" He stops, looking at the slug of whiskey he had just downed. It was... fizzing. Whiskey wasn't supposed to fizz. Suddenly he felt a fizzing sensation in his throat, followed by blinding pain. Flailing, he attempted to find his way to a bathroom, perhaps he could manage to throw up the poison. In his flailing, he managed to throw his mask off of his face, showing a smooth head free of any sort of marks beyond freckles. The poor Scotsman gets three steps before pitching forward, unable to walk. He stops twitching soon after, and the staff apologizes as they take his body away.
