Reaction post!: Ruby nodded, she grabbed the shortbow and arrows from the goblin warsinger's corpse and followed by as close as she could, bow at the ready.
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
She noticed nothing as Allie pocketed items, too concerned with backing Lera up.
The goblins looked over at the roaring Half-orc. Still not quick enough to counter yet, but under the guidance of their commander, the seem fearless to the barbarian!

Lera Satjian |

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Lera had noticed nothing of Allie's actions by the body of the dead goblin singer as she was busy getting her bow ready and moving forward.

Lucky Finn McDonaugh |

Map up on the same link, showing the mounted goblin and his 5 cohorts menacing the nobleman who sits with his now dead dog. NOt sure of starting positions for all, so I'll leave that up to GMMK
Finn pointed out the goblin foes with his morning star. "In Desna's name, they won't take that man. After them friends, let them try their luck against ours!"
He moves forward 40' in a double move.

Lera Satjian |

Lera moved forward (30 ft), to stand just beside TruStrike. Aiming her arrow at the goblin within her sights (in white circle), she breathed out and fired upon it, hoping to hit her target.
Shortbow Attack, 60 ft range: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Damage, if hits: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Not sure what effects are still in place or if Ruby will be singing. So please add whatever bonuses necessary...Crappy damage roll, though.
Status: 9/9 HP, AC 14, Archaeologist's Luck used 2 out of 7 times, 1 1st level spell used out of 2. 1 common arrow used.

Allie "Cat" Calico |

Allie dashes forward, and stops just under the tree. (30' move)
She bends her knees and rises onto the balls of her feet, bouncing lightly, and ready to spring.
Full Defense, no attack +4 to AC. AC 19 for this round.

Emilio Cross |

As his breath returns to him, he approaches the goblin hoard, letting out a roar with all his might!
Intimidate: 1d20(2) + 7 + 2 = 11 +2 from being larger than the Goblins. +2 does not apply to the dog, since it must be Medium.
He apparently coughs a little, his voice still hoarse from the fatigue of Raging.
This was my last post. Reposting so you guys see it again.

It was just as intimidating the second time. I am still quaking!

Ruby Shortwick |

Ruby Squeaked as she ran, double time to be at Lera's side, as fast as her short legs could take her. She had her bow ready for it later, but right now, she wanted to make sure she obeyed Lera, she was more combat experienced.
The goblin commander screamed,"Get the Longshanks! Cuts thems, stabs thems. Save the halfens for mes!" He holstered the horsechopper and pulled out his shortbow. Not getting close yet, ushering his men to charge first, and they did, two ran to the half-orc that tried to intimidate them, screaming, gurgling and other horrifying noises while attacking.
Intimidation: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
They were making such a horrifying show, they missed, but they looked like evil little demons!!
The Others rushed at the other longshanks, wanting to stab with all their might!

Lera Satjian |

As the goblins drew closer, Lera took a 5 ft step (ensuring she was still close enough to provide Ruby with cover) and nocked an arrow and let it loose on the nearest goblin (with the yellow circle).
Shortbow Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Damage, if hits: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Stealth (not to be overheard by goblins): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
She discreetly called back to Ruby, "Either shoot at the same goblin, Ruby, or sing us one of your pretty, inspiring songs!"
Status: 9/9 HP, AC 14, Archaeologist's Luck used 2 out of 7 times, 1 1st level spell used out of 2, 2 common arrows used.

My AC is 16. That second attack hit me, unless you don't want it to. Rule 0 and all that.
Letting out a massive roar, Emilio attempts to swing at the white goblin.

Rage Damage: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

GM_MatsuKeiji |

I thought meaeting Ac as still amiss, you have to succeed it, that's how every game I played did it. But if you all want to play meet AC hits we can. Also no will save for intimidation or have I not read that barbarian rages make them immune to intimidate.
The blue and white goblin fall. Well, the blue one does with a knife in the eye, dead. The white follows the past sibling that met Emilio's axe, mist that covered his body.
Will: 1d20 ⇒ 18
Still the half-Orc does nothing to scare them! Something is odd about these goblins for sure!

Emilio Cross |

Are you asking me for a will save against the goblin's intimidate? I can do that. Rage doesn't make me immune, but it does give a bonus to will save, since I'm in a blind fury and don't know what's what.
Will Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
I don't get a bonus for taking a couple of their numbers down, do I? I mean, I still have the blood and guts of the three guys I crushed on my jacket and axe.

Lucky Finn McDonaugh |

Finn watches a pair of goblins fall, and prays to Desna to guide his hand as he tries out melee attacks.
Cast True Strike on myself, giving a +20 to-hit bonus next round. Then 5' step up to face Green.

GM_MatsuKeiji |

Ruby makes her way to Lera's side and begins to sing to her companions, hoping to inspire them once more before adding firepower with her new bow.
Inspire Courage once more!
The goblins set to their attacks, feeling the urge to stab!
Attack to Emilio: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Attack to Finn: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Attack to Finn: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
But seems they are not feeling the same momentum they were before, but they aren't smart enough to notice that!
The goblin commander curses in goblin before knocking back an arrow and loosing it at the half-orc
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
And misses by an inch!
The man takes the body of his prized hound and moves away as far as he can.

Lera Satjian |

Calling upon Fortune's Favour once again (Archaeologist's Luck, swift action) and hoping that none of the occupied, frenzied goblins would notice her movement, Lera walked quickly and with as much stealth as she could muster (25ft) to the place just in front of the shrub.
Stealth: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 1 = 15 (+1 from Arch. Luck)
Buoyed on by Ruby's stirring song, Lera nocked a new arrow, carefully aimed and fired at the goblin leader holding the shortbow (in grey box), her path clear of any of her companions/allies. May my aim be true!
Shortbow Attack on goblin leader, 60ft range, +1 competence bonus due to Inspire, +1 Archaeologist's Luck: 1d20 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 2 + 1 + 1 = 24
Confirm Critical: 1d20 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 1 + 1 = 8

(What is it with me and rolling 1's and 2's on damage. Thanks, dice bot.)
(Status: 9/9 HP, AC 14, Archaeologist's Luck used 2 out of 7 times, 1 1st level spell used out of 2, 3 common arrows used.)

Allie "Cat" Calico |

Allie moves up beside Finn, and lunges at the small green monster assailing him.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 4 + 1 = 13
Damage: 1d4 + 1 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 1 + 1 + (4) = 10

Emilio Cross |

Feeling the air on that arrow as it flys by his shoulder, Emilio attempts to take out the commanding monster of these strange small creatures, stepping up to the mounted commander and swinging with all his might!
Rage To Hit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
His Rage betrays him, his swing missing off to the left.
5' step to the left, swing at commander, miss.
RAGE ACTIVE: 4 rounds remain

Lucky Finn McDonaugh |

With the favor of Desna showing where is enemy will be before he strikes, Finn is able to get a shot in around the block attempt by Green Goblin. Bones crunch and blood oozes from the wound caused by Finn's morningstar, and the cleric is a bit sickened by the mess melee combat causes a fellow.
Finn morningstar, True Strike: 1d20 + 1 + 20 ⇒ (16) + 1 + 20 = 37
Dmg: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Standard Action to smash using True STrike from prior round and it's +20 insight bonus. If the smashing killed the Green Goblin, then I will move into it's square, leaving Allie a shot, and preparing a flank for Lera if she chooses.

Ruby Shortwick |

Ruby Continued her song, but set to firing an arrow to the closet goblin as well.
Attack to Yellow Goblin: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Sadly she missed.
The goblins set to attacking as well, one to the lucky guy and the girl who keeps throwing knives at them!
Attack to Finn: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Attack to Allie: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
But they missed as well, their frustration being paramount at this point.
The Commander shot at the Half-orc once more.
Attack to Emilio: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
His arrow flies off the target once more.
This damn dice bot is AWFUL!!!

Lera Satjian |

Leaving the goblin leader to Emilio's capable hands, Lera moved 15 feet (move action). With now a clear path to the yellow goblin, Lera called upon Favour's Fortune to guide her actions (Archaeologist's Luck, swift action) and released an arrow at the yellow goblin.
Shortbow attack on yellow goblin, 60ft range, with +1 inspire, +1 AL: 1d20 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 1 + 1 = 12
Damage, if hits: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 1 = 4
(I swear the 2's love me. Grr dice bot. Not that a 12 hit...still would love to roll something other than 2 on damage.)
Sorry Finn, couldn't flank as I am using a ranged weapon.
(Status: 9/9 HP, AC 14, Archaeologist's Luck used 4 out of 7 times, 1 1st level spell used out of 2, 4 common arrows used.)

Allie "Cat" Calico |

Allie fluidly shifts to one side (5' step) putting the goblin between herself and Finn.
She lunges at it again.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 1 + 1 + 4 = 18
Damage: 1d4 + 1 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 1 + 1 + (4) = 10

Emilio Cross |

Stepping up to the goblin leader, Emilio swings at him again. He can feel his muscles starting to give out. He can't keep up his blind rage for much longer.
Is the goblin leader mounted? Or was that another enemy? And could someone move me another 5' to the left?
Rage To Hit: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 1 = 20 Finally!
Rage Damage: 1d12 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 6 + 1 = 19 MAX DAMAGE!!
RAGE ACTIVE: 3 rounds remaining

Lera Satjian |

You've been moved on the map, Em.
Behind them, mounted on top of one of the most ugly dogs you could see, was a goblin of command, waving his horsechopper with vile rule.
The goblin leader was mounted.

GM_MatsuKeiji |

With the brutal cleaving of the goblin commando and his mount, once again in an eruption of gobliniod gore upon the man, the final goblin squeals in free and runs away as fast as his little legs could go, their raid a failure.
That left the group with the noble who cradled his dear friend's body, sobbing softly now that everything was calming down. He stood up and looked to them,"I... I thank you for savimg me, I will repay you... but first, I must say goodbye to a friend... I'm staying at the Rusty dragon. I'm sorry I can not do it now..." he nodded to them and walked back into the town.
Ruby stood silently, before fallimg back on her butt, sittimg on the ground. She was breathing kind of hard from all of the adrenaline, she looked to the others when the noble made his exit and was a good distance away before she began to laugh a bit, tears in her eyes. It was done, they could hear it by the cheers and celebrations, they could look to the town streets to see the townsfolk lookimg to them and clapping, cheering and more. The group were seen as town heroes in their eyes.

Lera Satjian |

"I... I thank you for savimg me, I will repay you... but first, I must say goodbye to a friend... I'm staying at the Rusty dragon. I'm sorry I can not do it now..." he nodded to them and walked back into the town.
"You have our sympathy for the loss of your friend. Do what you must, sir." She watched him walk away; his sobs still audible.
Lera walked the area and swiftly searched for the arrows she had used against the goblins.
1d4 ⇒ 3
She found three of her four arrows intact and was content in it. She placed them back into their quiver. Lera glanced at her Halfling friend sitting on the ground. "Ruby, are you alright?"
Moving toward Emilio and the quite dead goblin leader and mount, Lera searched what was left of the leader's body, hoping to find something of import.
Perception to search leader's body: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Emilio Cross |

Seeing his enemy crushed before his superior strength, Emilio lets out a roar of triumph, hoping his voice reached the wargrounds of the Gods.
With a heavy sigh, Emilio drops to his knee, panting as his muscles scream in pain. He'd never pushed himself this far before. He hefted his axe, shaking it a little to get the blood off of it. A rusted blade is worse than an armed enemy.
The words of his tribal trainer reached him from his training in his youth. Pain is weakness leaving the body. Never fear pain, as it only makes you stronger.
After a moment, he stands up and holsters his weapon, walking past Lera and over to his small, red-haired friend, kneeling before her. "You weren't hurt, were you?"
RAGE DEACTIVATED: 3 rounds remaining, 12 rounds of Fatigue.
Whoo! That was awesome!

Lucky Finn McDonaugh |

With the goblin threat apparently abated for now, Finn looks to his new found comrades in arms first. "Anyone hurt?" he asks the others, patting himself down just to be sure. "That fight was brutal but quick. It seems we make an effective team, perhaps the Lady of Fate has brought us together for some higher purpose?"
If anyone is injured, Finn can address, but he is still a bit unsure of his healing ability.
Once Finn ensures no one is injured, or needs his immediate assistance, he goes to looking over the slain goblins, again for any signs of their intentions

Ruby Shortwick |

"I'm not hurt, but I've never done anything like this... I'm more of the runaway to live another day time, then again, I'm usually alone" she took a deep breath and got up, lookimg at her friends and smiled,"I think I owe you all drinks and the like. Maybe this time get Emilio to try alcohol" she laughed a bit and dusted the back of her skirt where she sat on the ground. Then, with wobbly legs, walked back towards the Rusty Dragon.
On the body of the goblins, there is their dogslicers, but the commando has on his person, a poition of cure moderate wounds, studded leather for a small person, a short bow with 20 arrows, and a masterwork horsechopper.

Lucky Finn McDonaugh |

"I am also unused to fighting, Ruby. My motto was always discretion is the better part of valor. But this gift of Desna, leads me in a different path."
Searching through the gear, Finn says, "All this gear is for small-sized people, and only one of us seems to fit that bill, Ruby. Can you use any of this?" He also offers the Cure potion to the rest of the group. "In case I get hit hard, and cannot heal, you can use this on me..." he says, shrugging. "Or whatever."
Finn widens his scope of vision to see if any more pockets of goblins or citizens needing aid exist. If not, he exhales deeply. "Well, that was certainly a festival to remember. Let's get back to the Dragon and start drinking. What say you?"
If Finn does see others in need of aid, healing, combat help etc, he will alert the group and move that way, otherwise beat a retreat for the watering hole.

Lera Satjian |

He also offers the Cure potion to the rest of the group. "In case I get hit hard, and cannot heal, you can use this on me..." he says, shrugging. "Or whatever."
"You said earlier that you didn't heal others, Finn. Is this now no longer the case?" Lera looked at the man with curious intensity.
"We should keep the healing potion for the group's use -- so whomever requires greater healing, will receive the potion. I think that is fair. But if you will take on the group's healing, and you are injured and require the potion, I shall administer it." Lera placed the potion inside the pouch around her waist.

Lucky Finn McDonaugh |

Hey Finn, Lera was searching the goblin leader's body before you decided to search the bodies, so I suppose she would have found the potion etc ... ;)
Oh, missed it above, so sorry. Please be my guest.
Finn looks a bit abashed when questioned about the healing. I - well I - I mean, I'm still getting the hang of this. I healed a man who was injured once, but I don't know if I can repeat it again. It just hasn't, you know, come up much." He grins trying to cover up his insecurity and lack of experience with his divine powers.
"Either way, take the potion and use it as you see fit. Hopefully, we'll never need it."

Lera Satjian |

No worries. I thought I'd mention it. :)
"With your goddess' vigilant eye and divine aid, I am certain you will rise to the challenge of healing. I, for one, am in favour of staying alive." A small smile played around her lips as she looked at Finn.
"Such potions will come in useful ... It never hurts to have additional healing resources."
I suppose we can start a group kitty ... and add to it when we find/discover new things.

Allie "Cat" Calico |

"Why so unsure?" Allie asks. "Isn't the whole point of revering Desna to get lucky? I have heard some men doubt their ability to perform in the heat of the moment, but your resolve seemed quite firm just now," she says with a wink and a smirk.

Emilio Cross |

Oh gods, Cat. You really are a flirt.
Raising with his friends, his breath still somewhat heavy, Emilio follows the rest of his new comrades to the Rusty Dragon.
"That potion's mine. His corpse fell by my fist, and I have the most scars. Hand it over." Emilio extends his hand for the potion. While his words are rough, his voice is soft.
I'm most likely to use that potion, given my high health and higher occupational hazard. That cool with everyone else?
-Posted with Wayfinder

Lera Satjian |

"No, I will hold onto it. I found it. If you go down first, in battle, I shall pour it down your throat."
There is no ire in Lera's voice, just a matter-of-fact, straightforward manner/tone.
The way you worded that IC, especially since Lera has already put the potion in her pouch ... yep, that isn't going to work, Emilio. If you want the potion, a different approach should be taken with the Archaeologist.

Emilio Cross |

"And how do I know you aren't gonna take it and run next chance you get?"
He's a little adamant about the potion. To him, it is rightfully his since the previous owner no longer needs it.
One more IC post saying otherwise will drop the subject. Remember, tribe mentality.
-Posted with Wayfinder

Lera Satjian |

"As I said to Finn just moments ago, I will hold onto the potion as group property. It is a healing resource and I have some healing ability -- do you forget I healed you earlier with my magic? I will not run. You have my word on it."
Lera's golden eyes are fixed on Emilio, not in a confrontational manner, but in an open fashion to demonstrate she means what she is saying.

Emilio Cross |

With an unsatisfied but understanding grunt, Emilio drops the subject.
He knows she knows the penalty for fleeing a fight. And if she doesn't, he'd gladly show her...
Ok. I'm done fighting over a bottle of Gatorade. Let's get on with it!
-Posted with Wayfinder

Allie "Cat" Calico |

"It just goes to show ya, if you want a lady to open her purse for you, you're going to have to work on your technique. Miss Lera clearly isn't impressed by size alone," Allie giggles. "Not to worry, Emilio, I'm sure there are plenty who will drop to their knees when you unleash your enormous weapon."

Lera Satjian |

Ignoring Allie's flirtation and double meanings, Lera falls into step with Ruby and heads for the Rusty Dragon.
"Thank you for backing me up with the bow and for the inspired singing, Ruby."

Lera Satjian |

If Finn draws close enough to Lera as they walk back to the Rusty Dragon, she will discreetly attempt to gain his attention... But if he doesn't, then please ignore the spoiler, Finn.

Ruby Shortwick |

Once they finally made it to the inn, there were more cheers to be had from the town, along with people offering to buy them food amd drinks, as well as an elderly woman pushing a basket of fresh bread into Finn's hands, with the words 'Eat, eat, you are too skinny!' being heard. They were sat down at a large center table and surrounded, being bombarded with questions. How did you do it, what was going through your head, how long are you staying, and more. Ruby was helping Ameiko serve up more food and drink to them as they were getting a lot of attention, Ruby was so small she was relatively unseen, it made her job to get the stuff to them harder, but she preffered it. The halflings made her way to Emilio and slide a glass of the spiced wine to him and stood by him,"Its alcohol, its not going to kill you, I'll drink some with you" she raised a glass up to show and shot it back with ease, slappimg it down on the table,"Now drink up big boy, you're a hero." she smiled and winked before slipping away to take care of a few things.

Emilio Cross |

Emilio thought Ruby and Allie must have an eye twitch or something. Why does one eye always close after someone says something? Whatever.
Emilio looks down at his flaggon, the wine a deep amber color. This was the same stuff he was given before! They tried to poison him! But if the half person could do it...
Tentatively, Emilio takes a swing, holding it in his mouth for a bit, then swallowing.
Fort Save against Drunkenness: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
It still tasted vile. He sets his flaggon down, pushing it to the side. He's still getting used to civilization.
