Round 11
Halseen gets thrashed as the red guard and the boss cut him up, 24 damage. Koldur takes slashes as well leaving more blood in his trail, 12 damage. Koldur's strikes falter as the pain reaches his arms. Johanna is still clearing her head and smashes her weapon against the armor of the guard. The boss is tripped again by Uncia.

The red guard falls into the pit. Though the boss quickly moves and does not.
Round 12
The boss goes after the cat instead of Halseen and misses it. Johanna slashes into the purple guard finding lots of armor like the others. You may have done damage but you can be sure. Even with Halseen's, OOC, comment Koldur can't follow his suggestion as there is no place for him to move. Koldur is able to divert most of the attacks but one does slip by his guard leaving a pretty bad slash on his leg, 9 damage. Koldur and Halseen your totals have not dropped any yet, please go back and adjust it!

LOL if we go by the rolls they both jump away...2d20 ⇒ (20, 20) = 40, though with 5 characters down GM magic is going to be used here.
The pit widens and all of the threats fall into the pit. Halseen's cat is able to disengage from the boss in time to evade the pit.

Johanna grabs hold of the dwarf and quickly begins the retreat.

I'd rather those rolls be used on saves then attacks on us lol.
Bleeding and his vision hazy the old dwarf feels something dragging him and he flails abit, not willing to go down without a fight but he barely twitches.
The floor is cold but he pays it no heed.
Where was his axe?
Where was his trusted weapon?
He wasn't going down like this. He was feeling pretty indignant about the whole thing. He's spent decades perfecting his style despite his fellow dwarves criticism. His very style was diametrically opposite to the traditional fighting style favored by most dwarves but he managed to silence his critics as he lived and worked on it.
Soft and hard. Slow and Fast. Redirecting and Explosive burst. He melded them all.
If there was a comparison, he was a Smith. A smith still forging a fighting art. An Ultimate Fighting Art.
Not for him to trade himself for power. Not for him to borrow the power of others. Not for him to lay down and give up.
No. Not for him.
His spars with Sable. His service to the Kingdom. Every battle and lesson drills with his students.
The weight of his axe in his hands. The memories of toil and aches as he drilled himself as well.

"Those undead for formidable and we were not prepared. A couple of Oils of magic weapon and warhammers would make dealing with the skeletons much easier. I damaged the wraith and it has no way to heal that I know of. The three of us could finish them off tomorrow after resting. Yes we will need to recruit others but I would rather put this behind us now. We may exhaust the wand to heal our wounds but another can be purchased."

Ernost leads the caravan off a ways before asking, "Do you really want to go all the way back to the forest or should just put some distance between the tomb and us be enough?"

"Here is fine. Undead are normally created or tied to a place because of dark magic. Bound if you will. They should not venture out far. A bit of distance would be fine."
Figure a 15 or 30-minute walk or so away. Camp, rest and return tomorrow to kick some butt.

Koldur examines his weapon as he ponders their fight. If just if he wasn't drained by that fight with Vampires, he would have being able to smack them silly.
He recalled training with his weapon and ensuring that he could strike easily with the flat of the blade or the spike on its head just as easily as he hacked into his foe.
He sighed as he waited for this wounds to heal over.
His wounds were more then just his hurts but his pride as well.

Looking at his companions, Koldur poses the question that he's sure is hanging over their heads.
"Shall we go after that crypt once more by ourselves or bring in more help?"

So the war was canceled, But I have been crazy busy at work getting our users set up for telework. I may not post again until the weekend, but I am back and working from home now.
How do we call on Olivira? I know she can teleport just not sure how we call on her.

She gets up in her splendor and walks casually around the table touching each lightly as she walks, excluding those that obviously recoil. Once behind Halseen she asks, "Do you agree?"
Upon his agreement she touches his back and a spell washes over him as she utters a few magical words and a few somatic movements. He then can feel a mark of some kind form on his back where she touched spreading out to cover about a hands width from that point. No pain, just the magical presence which is easily forgotten after a day or so like wearing a ring.
Once done she walks around the other side coming around full circle touching most as she goes.

Jevar seems to come out of his stupor enough to pull out a little white door archway figurine. He tosses it to the side and it quickly grows to a normal door size. Then he goes back to his stupor almost as he wasn't controlling himself.

The elf steps out and to the side and smiles which quickly fades, he answers before the others in a serious tone, "What has happened?!" He looks quickly from side to side seeing Koldur he nods with relief, Johanna, Halseeen, and Ernost. He looks concerned that Jevar is down as well as the dwarf but waits before asking any other questions.
