Kitsune don't change size-- they can only turn into humans.

Realistic Likeness lets you turn into a bunch of different humans instead of just one. If you're turning into a human child, that's fine, but for the sake of argument let's not adjust stats for that. I don't want child form to be a go-to superior combat form. Let's also keep it within reason-- turning into a baby or toddler, for example, might be out of your reach.

I was thinking of using a smaller form just for skulking about. I wasn't intending to use it in combat. It was just an idea I had. I am still happy that I get to play a kitsune. :-)

Now's a good time to say don't worry about splitting the party. I'm not out to TPK you and waste weeks of my time and your time and make everyone mad.

Not to say that bad choices and poor insight and planning won't lead to ruin, but going 3/3 to two different places won't be a death sentence. I'm not a WoW instance here! I have feelings!

I updated the front page with Lukain's revised map (moved one mark to gel with an actual location I wanted to use) and the map of Korvosa.

Hmm, now I said IC that it's a 5 minute walk, but Wavestreet is a very long street. Where on it are we actually? (I just assumed the part near the Old Docks, but that's because I missed it extended way beyond there.)

Nah, not needed-- Diplo's only for gather info, requests and adjusting attitudes. Talking people into doing what you want or taking your side would also be a diplomacy check, but unless there's a direct action you want taken, don't worry about it.

Also: Yeah, Six Trials! I think it's the best AP volume ever written, and it's begging to have its lines pruned effectively for a PBP. It's awesome!

One thing I didn't notice is that you do have +1 in Perform (acting) Lantana due to your bonus trait. Perform also isn't trained only, so you could roll it even without that.

One thing I know helps a group parse out a mystery is out of character table talk...

Also, you guys are oddly reticent to take moving actions, like knocking on doors or walking downstairs. Believe in yourselves!

Re: The Grease spell. I was just worried because Rhiannon can only see the guy outside. He is outside, then Raikdar just inside, then the other two farther back in the stables. At least that is what I was imagining anyway. :P

Yeah, I remember that Hania had taken that form. I just assumed that she would have changed back into someone that Raikdar recognized.

I actually think staying and talking to the guards is a fine idea. Diplomacy is not really one of Raikdar's strong suites, so it shouldn't hurt if he doesn't hang around.

I do not seem to be able to move. I'm probably being stupid, but nothing is working. Lanny is doing a full move up the stairs towards the room. She will be out of sight of the baddies and should be able to close next round unless they move towards her.

Is our DM gone for good? Because we might be able to continue without the boys. I wouldn't like it but we could. But no DM means this ends. I have PM'ed him about that.

Eleven days since the last post. I am in a game with the DM and he is active in that game. He has not replied to my PM. I think we are done here.
