Laknir raises his hands beside him. Now now, where I live we have elves, so Yulantegoni rolls off the tongue in comparison. No apostrophes, for example. I just wondered if you had a preference. I suppose Talnip and Stigly are pretty hard to nickname. Torphrex? He asks.

"You can call me Torphrex..."
He seems distracted checking for traps and paying attention for any danger ahead, while he advances to the cross of the rooms.
Perception Check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Once there he checks the doors for traps.

Perception Check (for traps): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
GM Jol
Torphrex is sure he does not see any traps and Stiggly opens the doors. The double doors open onto a long, oval shaped room. Floating balls of fire illuminate walls covered with a bewildering array of runes, sigils and glyphs. Beneath these carvings, stacks of engraved stone tablets rest in recessed niches in the wells. All the writing on the walls in the room is in a foreign tongue. Tablets litter the floor, and the room is in general disarray.
One of the symbols on the wall seems different from the rest. It is not fully set into the wall and can be detached. Also of note, some of the tablets on the ground have writing seen on many scrolls.
These tablets while weighing five pounds each, function as scrolls. One is an arcane scroll of hold portal and one of identify, two more are divine scrolls of remove disease and shatter.
Torphrex the Clever
Perception Check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Barely!
Torphrex peeks into the room... without fully entering it.
"That rune! That one is not set on the wall, I think it can be grabbed out! And the tablets on the floor seems to have magical writing."
Yulantegoni
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
"I will read the magic" Yulantegoni casts *Read Magic
"These ancient tablets hold magic, like scrolls. A spell of hold portal here, there is one of identify, over there is one of remove disease, and also there is one of shatter." Yulantegoni tells her companions as she points them out.
Laknir Kii
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Is there anything that's going to kill us in this room? Or like, looking very briefly at Stigly after Yulantegoni finishes her list.
Something that casts Silence?
As he asks this, he decides to go up to the detachable rune. This for example, is it going to try to eat someone?
Perception for traps: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
About four edits later post is how I wanted it.
Torphrex the Clever
Torphrex, seeing that the room is same, moves north to peek in the corridor there.

" Let's take these with us. I will put the tablets on Lamashtu's Herald, he can bare the weight" Yulantegoni puts the tablets on the herald.
"Well the eggs are not here, lets continue to look for them. I am starting to think we might night find them in here."
GM Jol
Torphrex looks both ways in the corridor and is able to see to his left a large stone door emblazoned with a strange seven-pointed star. Written in sloppy handwriting on the wall in Draconic,
"Remember this be bad place. Flying snake, smelly lizards, turned him to stone."
To the right down the hallway, the group can see what looks to be a circular room and a 30 foot diameter pit. The ceiling arches twenty feet above the pit, which is encircled by a narrow, five-foot-wide walkway. A door stands across the pit on the opposite wall.
Stigly the Divine Diviner
Hmm being turned to stone makes you hard.........Perhaps a cure for Laknir's impotence? Yes, must be, we should go fight the flying snake for the sake of our poor friend.
Stigly excitedly jitters at the thought of curing his new friend.
Torphrex the Clever
Torphrex ignores Stigly's "joke". He moves to check the room with the pit, stealthy, checking carefully for traps and in case of not finding any, peeking in the darkness of the hole.

As Torphrex looks down the pit, even with his dark-vision is unable to see anything. It descends to far. As the group cautiously moves forward, Yulantegoni is extremely surprised to see a rune come floating out of the room they just exited flying straight towards the Herald!

Stigly rushes to the light to defend his comrades and convince them of his bravery. However He stops short and twirls his mace in the air menacingly with his left hand as he waits for the light to come to him so he can attack it.

Torphrex braces against the wall, trying to get a better shot, and thinks in the need to find a place to hide or a way to flee, in case the fight against that arcane thing is outside the group capabilities.

"What was that?"
Torphrex the Clever
Torphrex run to help Stigly put out the flames.
"Drop to the floor! Roll over!"
Laknir Kii
If it helps, that rune was some kind of miniature construct. Probably made by a wizard. I doubt it was a curse. I mean, if this dungeon looking place was cursed, why would the Jol clan live on it? He says turning away at the futility of aid another on a burn victim.
Torphrex the Clever
Torphrex waits for the others to choose.
Stigly the Divine Diviner
Stigly will brush the fire off, and then look around the group. HA I knew He was a coward. Gone and run off has Talnip
I bet he is hiding so that he dies last
Stigly will then proceed down the wall to the intersection.
GM Jol
As Stigly walks down the corridor he sees to his left a suit of elaborate lacquered armor against the far eastern wall of the octagonal chamber. Silver chains attached to the armor's neck and chest run across the floor of the room, their ends clutched in the bony hand of a skeleton sprawled on the floor ten feet away. The armor seems be a very finely crafted piece of banded mail made for a kobold. A finely crafted bastard sword lies nearby and two curved daggers lie underneath the skeleton. The group also notices the absence of Talnip as well. Without noticing he seems to have slipped off.
A brave kobold once known as Piki-Jol was sent to investigate the temple and never returned, the armor bears his mark on it

He will checks for traps...

I hope he is on time to prevent Stigly to make a mess of things.
Torphrex the Clever
I am afraid Torphrex was the other side of the dungeons, but he will hurry up and try to help...
Yulantegoni
I totally missed the part where he grabs the stuff and starts running...
"What are you doing you fool!" Yulantegoni berates Stigly for his carelessness and backs away. I would say I was close enough to see what the items were and cast detect magic, but as soon as I saw Stigly doing his shenanigans I would at least 5' step away
GM Jol
Yulantegoni scries with his arcane abilities, but notices nothing unusual in this room.
Torphrex rounds the corner to see Stigly running towards Yulantegoni carrying what looks to be a piece of armor. As Stigly is excitedly showing everyone his new shiny, hundreds of cockroaches come swarming out of the armor. Biting and covering Sitgly they also spread out to attach themselves to Yulantegoni as well.

Stigly and Yulantegoni take 5 damage.

Torphrex the Clever
Torphrex gets his waterskin out and uses it to douse in water Stigly and Yulantegoni, hoping to wash some of the insects away.
He will rip the waterskin if he needs to.
Stigly the Divine Diviner
Stigly runs from the bug swarm screaming and vomitting No its mine, they can't have it it's my shiny. I saw it first it came to meeeee!!!
fort: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Stigly has a whole bunch of water skins filled with lamp oil. Lets hope he grabs one of the them and not his actual water skin when he goes to torch the bugs.
Yulantegoni
Fort Save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15 "Are you possessed Stigly? Why are you acting so rashly?" Yulantegoni tries to stomp out the bugs screaming! The herald does the same trying to help his master.
Laknir Kii
Oh, hell. Come on, we have to get away from those! Laknir turns and moves 30 feet, drawing the alchemist fire he keeps with him as part of that movement. And readies an attack with the weapon when Yulantegoni and Stigly are clear of the radius.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5
Torphrex the Clever
Torphrex moves out of the way, trying to avoid the attack.
GM Jol
As kobolds start tumbling past Laknir, He lobs his vial of fire at the swarming cockroaches. A few still cling to Stigly and Yulantegoni, but the water from Torphrex has at least cleared most of the bugs off the body. A fiery explosion momentarily lights up the dungeon as the vial breaks in the middle of the multitude of bugs. As the fire recedes, roughly a quarter of the bugs have been burned, some have scattered but the rest scuttle down the hallway at the adventurous group.
The bugs move down the hallway ending about 10 feet in front of Laknir
