I didn't roll saves because I don't know how many targets I was able to attack. I have no problem rolling them, but I won't presume to decide how many targets were in range.
While on the subject, I have no problem with tumbler rolling saves for me when necessary, either.
tumbler
It will make the game most fluid if you guys roll saves for your opponents and I roll saves for you. It allows you to take an action and then describe the results of the action, and for me to do the same. That way your action is all resolved in your post. Either of us can add a little flavor when we respond to a post if desirable or necessary.
As for now, we are in Round 2 and still need actions from Shudder and Redwood, then I will take actions and do a good summary of round 2 and clarify the initiative for round 3
Debbie "Redwood" Cleaver
Debbie tries her best not to grin at the the success of her assualt. A highly inappropriate "HA!" escapes her giant mouth, spawned from a combination of panicky surprise and bloodthristy glee.
Despite the volume of her guffaw, its sound is potentially drowned out by the onslaught that followed. The sheer force of attacks from the menagrie of super powered individuals nearly brought the enormous mechanized titan to its knees.
Seeing no reason to shake up her approach, Debbie advanced, planting her bare feet where a sidewalk had just been, and throws an uppercut into the giants jaw. She couldn't help but imagine her son's most played videogame and how often he impersonated his favorite characters signature move. How did that go? Hadoukem?
Hadouking?
Attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
-4 All out Attack. +2 Damage from power Attack. Defense is currently 0. Toughness DC for GR is 29.
GR Save: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (13) + 15 = 28
I believe that's correct.
Flechetes of alloy cascade from the robots glowing mouth as Debbie's truck sized fist plows into the underside of it. The massive metal monstrosity teeters uneasily from the impact as Debbie's determined grin is lit up by the sparks of the damaged machine. I CAN do this...Hmph. There was never any doubt.

Sorry, I am away from home and my internet has been unreliable.
The newly arrive heroes gang up on the giant robot, only Shadow Star taking care of additional smaller drones.
The Giant Robot shakes and attempts to move toward its attackers, but is overwhelmed with damage. Its homing missiles return to attack The Shield, Sinter, Patrick, and Shudder, hitting only Shudder. The missile penetrates deeply into his energy form, exploding in a massive explosion, briefly disrupting Shudder before he reforms.
Wow, hit the only guy who could easily absorb that.

Just lost a huge post to network problems.
Six Tri-Tanks move in on Knightingale and Arrow at the gash in the wall of the Hall, overwhelming them in a flurry of rockets and mouth cannons, leaving behind a cloud of smoke, dust, and flying bits of molten rubble.
At the same time, six more Tri-Tanks move to reinforce the Giant Robot, attacking those who are attacking it. They fire mouth cannons, hitting only Sinter, who is clouded with energy for a moment before regaining his already sketchy form. Lost those rolls in the previous post.
Six Buzz Bots retract their blasters and extrude articulated arms ending in glowing green pincers. They swarm Supergirl, somehow overcoming her speed and defenses and grabbing her with their pincers. She seems to sag in their grasp, unable to fight back. Probably not everyone knows about Kryptonite
Another group six Buzz bots pull away from Shadow Star, launching a burst of rocketry toward him, filling the darkness around him with explosions. Shadow Star is buffeted by the explosions, but misses out on the worst of the damage. 1 bruise
Shadow Star Reflex: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16

Supergirl, Arrow, and Knightingale are out of commision at the moment.
The Shield turns his attention to Shudder and says in an amplified voice. "The energy signature of the Mech's blast is the same as the one that jerk is firing. He must be controlling it. Take him out!"
He flies toward Shudder, slamming an elbow into his force field protected face.
Shield attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
Shudder Toughness: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23 1 Bruise to Shudder. Shudder gets one Hero Point for Yellow Ring complication.
Warhawk turns his head as though surprised by something, and turns to fly through the hole in the side of the Hall.

Round 3 begins
Initiative Groups
Group 1: Robo, Shadow Star, and Shudder
Group 2: Rest of the PCs
Group 3: Robots then NPC heroes
Status:
Warhawk in the Hall.
Supergirl bound by Buzz Bots.
Arrow and Knightingale lost in smoke.
The Shield engaged with Shudder.
Giant Robot tougness is at +13.
I'm going to hold back on The Shield's stats for a bit.
Shadow-Star
Shadow Star shakes off the strain of his effort and sees little result from his action .
There are just too many of the smaller robots.
uses hero point to cancel cost of extra effort
Taking out fliers isn't slowing them down, maybe taking out the battle ship will reduce their firepower.
He remembers his Father saying that sometime, in a battle, it's best to get the tanks out of the way before the troops can be stopped.
Let's try that.
tries another alternate with another extra effort
Alternate Power: Shadow Blast R12, Autofire (+12 to hit, T DC 27 +1 per 2 pts Att exceeds Def)
Normally +12 to hit with ranged, Power attack makes it +7; BigBoy def is -3 and it looks like toughness is down to 14.
attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Base power of attack 12 + 5 from PA + 5 from Autofire makes this a power 22 attack
Robot's T save: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (8) + 14 = 22
Fails by 15, which should be down and out, dependent upon other powers it might have.
Edit: toughness 13, still works
Captain Robo
I'm still unsure on how some of my powers interact with robots who are immune to will saves. For instance, my EMP Cloud (Nullify 10) attack counters all powers of Technological descriptors, but it is against Will. Sorry if I'm being dense, the holiday season's left me all scatterbrained. Would it have to be changed to vs. Toughness (via Extra: Alternate Save (Toughness) for 0/r)?If so, let's go with that. I'll leave the rolling up to you because I'm not sure what it would work against
EMP Cloud (Nullify 10) (Array; counters: all powers of (type) - technological, DC 20; Cloud Area (50-250 ft diameter, lingers - General); Progression, Increase Area 2 (area x5))
These robots-- the "buzzbots", tri-tanks, and The Big One-- all seemed oddly familiar. Not something fully carried out to production, but something that he gleaned in the past while working...
Captain Robo made a quick scan of the area. Kara and her goons, the 'bots, The Shield...Eh, why not?
Swarms of nanites buzz their way around the battlefieldand form a cloud-like mass around the bulk of the action. When in place, they begin to glow around anything technological, releasing EMP bursts. Among the casualties: street lights, cellphones, and a car or two. All worth it given the situation.
250ft around the biggun and whatever bots are around it.
Sinter
Seeing that Supergirl is in distress Sinter changes targets.
He starts blasting buzzbots. Wanting to be precise and not hit supergirl, he forgoes power attack.

(a la nanny-nanny-boo-boo) Sinter-is-a-fan-boy
On the EMP, it looks like what you do is roll one power roll and then the effects you are Nullifying get an opposed roll to beat your roll. I would think you should change the save to a Fortitude save or even reflex. For most effects that are maxed out, it is going to end up being the rank of the effect anyway. Also note that it affects insubstantial, so Imagine is not immune. Also note that you have it as an area and lingers, which means targets can try to turn their effects back on every round and then make an opposed check to not be turned back off. If you want it to Nullify for a duration, you would have to buy an increased duration
In this case, to make things faster, I am going to roll your check for you.
Captain Robo EMP: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18
The Shield and Shudder are swarmed by the nanite cloud like a swarm of angry fireflies. Shudder is unaffected, but most of the Shields powers come from being infected with Graviton controlling nanites of his own. Most of the patriotic hero's systems hold up, but his flight control is momentarily disrupted and he plummets toward the grass below.
The Shield resisting EMP: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (11) + 20 = 31
The Shield resisting EMP: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (9) + 15 = 24
The Shield resisting EMP: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (10) + 12 = 22
The Shield resisting EMP: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
The Shield resisting EMP: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
Imagine and anyone else within 250 feet of the Giant Robot who has powers with electronic descriptors or would be affected by an EMP must check their Will save or power rank, which ever is higher, against a DC 18 or have that power turned off.

I'm sorry if I'm doing this wrong. My L-phone has some skill levels in it, so I'd just add how many PPs it's worth?? Also, um, huh, here's a quick question: Since it's "area of effect" wouldn't Robo also need to save against it? :}
Imagine's Z-belt seems to blink for a second, but it returns to full function. Her phone, on the other hand, suddenly stops playing "Shake It Off." She taps her bluetooth a few times but gets no response. Her gaze falls upon Neil and she is NOT happy.

"Pay attention to the GIANT FRICKIN' ROBOT you incompetent morons! What are you, twelve? Do your damn jobs or get out of my way, I don't care which!"
"Here, it's NOT THAT HARD." He says as he sharpens a piece of concrete into a spear and lets fly.

In the frenzy of the frenetic combat, chaos reigns, and a cacophony of noise threatens to blot out all other sound. However, even above all the distractions, for a moment, a high keening sound can heard. It starts as a low hum, growing to a low thrum, though over the course of only a mere moment.
A blur of grey sweeps through the combat zone at sonic speeds, striking out at the giant robot with a flash of light. A silvery pinging sound, like the ringing of a clear silver bell rings out across the battlefield.
Initiative: 1d20 + 38 ⇒ (7) + 38 = 45

Save DC: 31 + 5 = 36
Giant Robot's Toughness Save: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15
Failure by 21... ouch.
The newcomer slams to a stop some 60 ft beyond the giant walker, his feet tearing up the concrete as he skids to a halt. A pile of concrete chunks, gravel, and loose turf climbs up to one side of the speedster, as if he was a meteor or a spacecraft crashing to earth. Stretched out behind him he is holding an unusually long sword, the silvery blade perhaps slightly longer than he is tall, in addition to an over-sized handle.
The massive robot shifts it's optics, slowly turning to try and track the newcomer. However, the movement causes some sort of breach in the super-structure to give way, and the construct's main chassis shifts in two different directions, one up, and one down, reveling the previously damaged main body to have been entirely bisected. Energy flares inside for a split second, before the entire thing is ripped apart by an explosion.
Given it's a construct, I'm presuming it can't gain the 'Dying Condition,' and that destruction would be appropriate (unless its manned or something of course. Feel free to modify the description if it takes too many liberties...)
The newcomer stands up to his full modest height, and lowers his sword slightly. He speaks in a loud, clear voice. "My apologies for being late. I was in Central City."
My Martian Manhunter inspired character just wasn't coming together for me. As a result, I went with a speedster instead. Quick version, you can kind of think of him as an alternate reality version of the Flash, but coming from a medieval high-gravity dimension. This makes him a lot more Tank-like that the traditional High-Accuracy role played by speedsters, but I like the variation. Basically makes him into a high speed brick that can smash through walls, should he wish...
Sʜᴀʟε
Yeah, the Giant Robot was in terrible shape. The only addition being that
as The Giant Robot of Doom falls apart, a glowing yellow sphere about the size of a softball rockets skyward.
All the better for making my entrance. Nothing like one shotting the big bad (even if he was pretty much smashed to pieces already) to assist in making your first appearance memorable.
He carries a long sword, single edged and slightly curved. The blade is long enough to look cumbersome, as the blade itself is about as tall as he is himself, with a long handle about a third of that length. Basically, think Sepheroth or Vampire Hunter D and you'll get the style of sword intended.

As Sinter flies toward Supergirl, blasting fire at her grapplers, her form seems to waver and sag, as though she were made of candle wax. What is left slops away into a semi-transparent goo, dropping on to the torn ground below.
At the same time, The Shield takes a moment to gather himself and then reaches toward Shudder above him. His fingers clench as though he is trying to claw out eyes and Shudder feels a heavy weight dragging him down. Tons of force drag Shudder out of the air and press his spider shrouded form to the ground.
Shudder, you can make a Strength Check vs DC 22 on your turn. If you succeed, you can take either a standard or move action. Note that this doesn't keep you from taking mental actions, so you could power stunt to gain super strength (hydraulic spider legs or power armor or something). Or whatever you come up with.
At this point, you can mop up robots, chase the yellow sphere, join in the Shudder/Shield fight (or try to stop it), or whatever. I'm not going to throw anything else at you immediately.

"NOOOOO!!!They killed Supergirl!!!" and Sinter lashes out in rage blasting all the tankbots in a frenzy.

Shale moves to the center most point of the conflict, trying to maximize the number of opponents he can reach in a single attack. Once in position, he begins sweeping out in increasing concentric circles, destroying every robot he can reach.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Save DC 31
He covers a circle/dome 120 ft across, destroying everything within 60 ft of his starting position. Leaping and/or Airwalk would allow him to hit those in the air as well.
Given their average saves, every Buzzbot in that area will be destroyed (Max Save 30 on a Natural 20). The tanks could possibly survive, though it's unlikely. A Save roll of 19-20 would survive, so if there are more than 10 tanks, one would survive. Less than about 7, and they average below saving, and all are destroyed.
He comes to a halt near the Shield, Shudder, and Forzare, with one of the Buzzbots still in his hand. "These things killed a Kryptonian? I think not." With that, he crushes the one remaining in his hand, and tosses the sparking mess on the ground. "I have reviewed the Justice League files on past conflicts, and at no point during those many conflicts, including those resulting in the death or apparent deaths of a Kryptonian has there even been an incident involving one being liquified. This is a ruse, and a transparent one at that."
He looks confident in his pronouncement, though whether he believes this, or is merely trying to put on a brave on the situation remains to be seen.

But if it's too fast for you too, don't worry about it. I'm sure it's not something really important that will come back to kill thousands, or perhaps millions of innocents later. No big deal. By all means, gather around the puddle that isn't really going anywhere. Ta! :3'
