Prone is fine then. I was confused as I did not see it in the description of what happened.
Suddenly finding herself on the ground and bleeding profusely, Alexa quickly scrambles back to her feet while calling upon the powers of nature to heal her wounds.

On 12, Creel rushes through the door, club in hand, and flanks the skeleton facing Smith. Before the skeleton can swing around, Creel swings hard at its head. 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28. dealing 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 if he hits. CRITICAL!! Rolls to confirm! 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25.
Creel moves to v, flanks skeleton standing in p with Smith.
Smith all but barrels over the skeleton as he leaps into the air and comes down hard, shattering the skeleton into dozens of pieces!
On 9 Valen, still in the doorway, channels the will of his goddess, bathing the dank prison basement in brilliant grey light. The skeletons that can see him (in g, h, i, o) attempt to save. Will save 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20.
The skeletons save, but still take damage. The skeletons in h and o drop.
Only the skeleton in g remains.
Valen Stellori
Assuming he can reach her now that she's "pushed back" from the front, and seeing that she is still wounded from the skeletons' assualt, Valen reaches down and calls a prayer of healing for her.

Round 3 init 12
Seeing the last skeleton sore beset, (and noting that Sore Beset is a great band name) Creel leaves the fray and scrambles to Kendra His hands glowing with light as he reaches her.
Her status? Dead/dying/stable/napping? If she is anything but dead or napping/ko'd/playing dead Creel will use a Lay on hands on her. LOH 1d6 ⇒ 3 healed.

On 22 Vaghn leaps forward, whip in hand, attacks the remaining skeleton. He manages to catch the undead horror off-guard, snatching it forward and pulling it down.
On 19, Alexa, sore and bleeding, rests under the careful guidance of Valen.
On 16, the remaining skeleton attempts to stand, provoking an attack from Smith. Smith leaps on the thing before it can even scramble to its feet, ripping its rotting skull from its spine.
On 15, Smith stands, combat finished, and awaits his mistresses next orders.
On 12 Creel dashes over to Kendra, stabilizing the dying woman.
End of Combat

Once the wounds have mostly healed, Alexa also moves over to see whether she can aid Kendra in any way:
Heal: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13 <-- yep, healing is just not working well today
She then stands up, turns and stares down Tharnik, despite being substantially shorter than the ranger.
WHAT were you thinking leaving us upstairs and bringing this poor girl down here? We all know this place is full of haunts and undead!!
Valen Stellori
Like others, Valen goes to check Kendra and Tharnik to see how he can apply ministrations to them. Whichever one looks to be more in need, he applies a healing spell to.
Healing check: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
Converting Bless over to CLW for usage.
CLW: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
He also gives a slight wince as Alexa chastises Tharnik. Now may not be the time for this...
Tharnik of Clan Black Sun
Tharnik returns Alexa's look and stares her down before calmly saying, "We did NOT wander off. One minute we were upstairs with you and the next we were here, Kendra overtaken by some mad spirit. I cannot explain it. Something has her."

|
After speaking with Alexa, Tharnik begins to pray softly, his hands taking on a soft blue. He reaches down and touches Kendra, lending his healing magic to Valen's own. After several moments of silence, he notices his own wounds and repeats the process, binding his own slashes with magic.
Kendra, after a few moments, opens her eyes. She has a vacant look.
When she sees your group, she whispers, "She'll hold him for now."
Alexa Grunwald
Alexa appears rather embarrassed when Tharnik responds:
I apologize, I did not realize that you had not come down here voluntarily. When did it happen? We suddenly realized that you were missing after examining the warden's office upstairs.
___________
Alexa looks confused when Kendra speaks: She? Who is she?
Valen Stellori
One minute we were upstairs with you and the next we were here, Kendra overtaken by some mad spirit. Something has her."
Concerned by Tharnik's statement and Kendra's cryptic words, Valen quietly places a hand on the woman's shoulder, hoping that Pharasma's power may enlighten him as to the nature of her possession.
Using Lorekeeper ability - Knowledge check result is 22 against DC
Per PRD: Lore Keeper (Sp): You can touch a creature to learn about its abilities and weaknesses. With a successful touch attack, you gain information as if you made the appropriate Knowledge skill check with a result equal to 15 + your cleric level + your Wisdom modifier.
Valen Stellori
Valen speaks quietly to the others - his eyes solid grey in their colour for now, "Miss Kendra is not alone; another spirit accompanies her within her mortal shell. Given how she speaks, I don't believe this presence means us harm - unlike so many others we've come across."
He looks directly at Kendra, hoping Pharasma guides him. "Can the spirit tell us, Kendra, who it is and what it is guarding? How can we aid it?"
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

Smith nods at his Mistress' words, turns and retraces his steps to retrieve the fallen hammer before moving on and standing guard (In the largest appropriate space to wield such a weapon) And acts as a guard on that 'direction'.

Kendra's eyes roll back a bit, her eyelids fluttering quickly. She starts to shake and, after a moment, launches into a full - utterly violent - seizure. Tharnik instantly drops to his knees, cupping her head in his hands in an attempt to keep her safe.
After a minute or so, she stops suddenly and relaxes. She does not respond.
Valen Stellori
Valen does his best to aid Tharnik in keeping Kendra from hurting herself during the seizure and making sure she is alright. Acting on a suspicion, he touches her to see if he can sense/learn more about the presence - if it still remains within her.
Lorekeeper Knowledge check
Valen Stellori
Given what his the Loretouch has revealed to him, Valen recalls the skeleton upstairs with all the holy symbols. He glances at Vaughn for confirmation and softly speaks : "Father Charlatan. Seems we have been decieved by previous events."
Knowledge (Religion): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
The half-elf furrows his brow in thought - recalling his lessons from his old mentor. "Immutatum might work..."
Want to try Protection from Evil on Kendra - see if that either helps expel him. I know that the spell doesn't get rid of it, but maybe give her a fighting chance to resist.
Alexa Grunwald
Well, we can spend all day here talking, but I prefer to finish exploring what we can. Lets continue searching this level, perhaps there is a safe place to rest. I doubt it, but something is keeping all these spirits here and we need to find what it is. After all, Kendra referred to something, or someone as a guardian.
Creel
Creel walks with Smith when Smith retrieves the hammer. Creel takes the opportunity to retrieve his axe and re-hang his weapons in their usual places.

Tharnik looks at Creel and replies
Valen utters another prayer, his hand glowing glowing a gentle grey as he finishes the incantation. Then, he reaches down and touches Kendra. As soon as he does, her body instantly stiffens and her eyelids flutter quickly. Then, after a few more seconds, her eyes go wide, her pupils clearly dilated and she screams.
With her scream, a ghostly figure, covered in chains, appears above her frame with a scowl on its face. It looks at each of you, obviously angered, then fades from view.
Kendra recovers and sits up.
"Thank you."

After a few minutes, Kendra gets up, dusts herself off, and straightens her clothes. She checks the rest of her gear, tucking her wand into her belt as she does. After she's composed, she looks at your group, sparing Vaughn a subtle smile, and speaks, "Truly, you are heroes and my father choose well. When we return, I will make every effort to ensure you receive the funds promised you, as well as those that I can add in thanks. You are brave, noble souls. Harrowstone has need of you, even when it does not know it. You have earned my trust."
Valen Stellori
Despite his knowledge, Valen is taken aback at the initial reaction and effects on Kendra of his spell - fearing he had harmed her more than helped. But when the specter emerges and dissappates - he utters a prayer of thanks for Pharasma's guidance.
"May you find yourself in the Grey Lady's presence," he says flatly at the fading ghost - an utterance that is both blessing and a curse.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Relieved to see that Kendra is alright, Valen's face shows a smile. Given his awkward, uninvited arrival at her home under strained conditions (in what feels like months ago), her acknowledgement of trust comes as both a relief and boost to his courage in these conditions.
"Thank the goddess you are alright. I...I appreciate your kind words, Miss Kendra. I am much allevied to help you and your town."
Alexa Grunwald
Alexa also tenses when the apparition appears from Kendra, and then sighs as she appears to revert to her own self.
Yes, it is good that you have recovered. But, what happened? Something very unnatural is about. Whatever is here is a blight on nature and must be stopped.
Creel
"That was the skeleton from upstairs." Creel states obviously. "But he has more chains on him now?"
Shaking his to clear disordered thoughts Creel Speaks to Madame Lorrimer.
"I thank you for your trust, it is a precious thing. I only hope I live so to deserve it."
More business-like
"You are correct, wise Alexa. This ruin must be cleaned and the darkness infesting it driven out to shrivel in the light."

So, it was my birthday this weekend and I sort of got sucked into one of those weird weekends where.... oh, nevermind. I'm back.
Kendra looks at Creel and says, "I believe you are all very right. There is something unnatural about. I thought I was dead and I kept seeing a man standing over me, speaking last rites, as I slipped into the Grey Lady's Embrace. But then I was alive again, trapped in a shell and being tortured. He just laughed and laughed. Then, a gray halo shone around me and it all ended. Well, at least I was able to push through the mists that were enveloping me. It was all very confusing."
Kendra stops for a second, obviously lost in thought, then continues. "There was a moment where I heard a woman's voice. It was soothing. Reassuring. She told me she would bind him. Then I awoke."
Alexa Grunwald
Alexa's ears perk up at Kendra's comment: A woman? Here at the prison? Were there any women here? I recall some mention of the warden having a wife that died here, were there any female prisoners?
Valen Stellori
So, it was my birthday this weekend and I sort of got sucked into one of those weird weekends...
Belated Happy Birthday! And if it involves a face tattoo and a tiger...well, color me curious. ;-)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------Kendra continues: "There was a moment where I heard a woman's voice. It was soothing. Reassuring. She told me she would bind him."
A woman? Here at the prison? I recall some mention of the warden having a wife that died here, were there any female prisoners?
Valen shrugs his shoulders - uncertain of a solid answer. "I would venture your hunch to be right. If what Kendra says is true of the voice, sounds like we might have any ally in this dismal place.
Vaghn der Grafft
"I am unaware of any female inmates, though it is certainly possible. The warden's wife is indeed known to have died in the conflagration that took this edifice, though why she was in the prison that fateful night is anyone's guess. If her spirit yet lingers, she may be sympathetic to our cause as we oppose the ones her husband died to keep contained, not to mention the ones who kidnapped him. Be wary, however; the undead, no matter how pure the person was in life, are beings of negative energy, and even the most seemingly benevolent of their ranks can be dangerous to the living."
