Thug 1
The man swings at Gelbor but having seen his companion cut down so easily he is now unsure of himself and misses.

Gelbor
Unfortunately the rogue isn't able to capitalize on the error as his own thrust cannot get past the thugs shield.

Davos
Davos too misses with a shot the flies high and wide and thuds harmlessly into the wooden wall of the shack.

Ralph
The alchemist in the party tosses another grenade at the man, this time shattering the vial on his chest and covering both him and Gelbor in jets of flame.

Domingo
Buoyed by cutting down the other thug, Domingo steps up but this time cuts nothing but air.

Is everyone ok? Indeed all we are here for is Natalya. Shall we take the entrance these thugs were guarding?

I think it best we use that entrance as not to scare this Natalya woman in to attacking us, but I think we should check for traps before we enter it

A small shack leans against the side of the building, probably a storage shed of some sort. Boarded windows look into an interior littered with fresh garbage and debris of recent habitation.

Domingo reaches behind him and pulls a small vial from a case on the back of his belt. Moving swiftly to Gelbor he holds it out.

Gelbor take this, it should take the edge off your worst wounds, its only a light cure but should be enough.

that was the only cure potion I have, we had best be carefull in here.

Still holding his side, he looks at the position offered to him.

"Thank you Dom, i really need this i owe you." Gelbor then uncorks the bottle and drinks it all down.

Ralph pushes open the rickety door.

The entire floor of this chamber has collapsed into the pool of water five feet below. The earthern walls of this flooded subcellar ooze with foul rivulets, and the smell is abominable.

Two oozing sewer pipes protrude through the east wall of this pit just above the level of the sewage. Part of the ceiling above the collapsed, revealing an attic crawlspace above; a rickety ladder leads up from the water into the crawlspace. A door stands in the far wall across the sludge pit. A wooden plank balanced between both doors makes a precarious bridge across the foul-smelling, oozing filth below.

Domingo looks at the bridge with concern.

looks like this is the only way to go, gelbor are you ok to go across first? Check that door out, and if it looks ok ill take the lead and go in first this time.

the stench in his place is almost unbearable, if I fall into that muck Im going to need a thousand baths to get clean.

Gelbor, getting a whiff of the sewerage pulls up his mask hiding his features and the sharp smell, Then looks to Dom.

"I'd really like to take a backseat on this one, been beat up a bit and i'm not so got a taking hits got to keep my looks."

Gelbor then steps back clearly waiting for anyone else go go first.

Domingo moves forward carefully placing his weight on the plank he tests to see if it is solid

Assuming the plank will bear his weight Domingo moves forward to the doorway and pausing briefly he opens the door and moves inside, sword readied for what may lay beyond.

Good job.

Domingo carefully begins bridging the gap. The plank creams noisily but bears his weight. Everyone holds their breath as he attempts the task but he is nothing but steady on his feet.

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14

As he shuffles across the plank, a wicked cackling laugh catches your attention. 3 goblins rush out of the pipes in the east wall.

Two of them hurl something at Ralph but 1 strikes out at the plank with what looks like a broom.

Goblin 1, touch attack on Ralph: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (10) - 1 = 9

Goblin 2, touch attack on Ralph: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (10) - 1 = 9

Goblin 3, touch attack on plank: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (20) - 1 = 19

The first two goblins hurl small burlap bags at Gelbor and Ralph but both miss. To your disgust they splat against the wall and you can see they contain all manner of filth and faeces, studded with broken glass!

The final goblin hooks his broom under the plank and though he heaves and struggles his fits of laughter at the prospect of pitching Domingo into the sewage prevent him from actually doing so.

Geblor just missing getting bit by the bag, sees his friend in the middle of a shooting gallery, quickly moves into the room R13 while pulling out a dagger and throws it at the closest goblin R14

All the goblins fail their saves.

The vial explodes on the cheat of the centre goblin, sending him up like a firework. The others are splashed with a kind of red-hot glue that eats deeply into their flesh. Within a second all three are ablaze and thrashing around until mercifully they fall into the muck and sink beneath the surface.

Domingo throws his arm up just in time as Ralphs potion explodes, the acid like glue burning deep into his flesh.

good job Ralph, though next time try not to hit your friends with this stuff, its pretty powerful
he says wincing as he scrapes the viscous stuff off his burned forearm.

Seeing the Goblins melt after Ralph's bomb, Gelbor speaks up.

"Glad that's not me think time. Let's get across quick, they can't have anything valuable on them."

He then moves across the board.

And keeps looking around for anymore surprises

Quick clarification. Someone has to open the door before they step off, there is no bank on the other side, the plank effectively runs under the opposite door. That being the case are you all crossing to check the door etc?

Domingo hops across the plank, sword in hand. He pushes open the door into the next room, a similarly fetid an awful-smelling space.

Ralph follows but his balance is not so sure. He creeps along the first half of the plank before it starts wobbling alarmingly. He almost makes it to the other side when it slips from beneath him and he is pitched head-first into the most disgusting, filth-filled nightmare he can imagine. He surfaces from the muck, which is about three feet at its deepest, gagging and retching as untold months and years’ worth of raw sewage drenches him from head to foot.

Ralph – Fortitude save please.

Domingo is now standing in the doorway the other side. Ralph was thrown into the pit along with the plank itself, leaving Gelbor (who was about to cross) and Davos back at the original entrance.

Gelbor standing still slowly cracking a smile, just looking at Ralph trying to balance himself then fall head first into the sewerage and starts to laugh.

"Oh Ralph, you should have seen yourself. That was brilliant ten out of ten."

Still laughing, Gelbor starts to pull himself together and look for a way to help this friend.

Ralph surfaces covered in the s%~~ and starts to vomit everywhere he finds the quickest way out of the filth his feet struggle to move through the thick mud as he moves he releases all manor of foal smells and flicks his arms out, the filth slime dollops off his arms in a squelching splat sound on to the floor and starts to vomit some more. wiping the vomit from his mouth he fills it with more filth and vomits again.

Domingo, you see two goblins emerge from behind a bunch of barrells and crates ahead of you. They take out massively oversized heavy crossbows and load them gleeflully!
