Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Wicked Airlines. This flight's destination is Tian Xia. Please note that the GM has turned on the Fasten Seat Belt sign. If you haven’t already done so, please stow your carry-on luggage underneath the seat in front of you or in an overhead bin. Please take your seat and fasten your seat belt. And also make sure your seat back and folding trays are in their full upright position. We thank you for flying Wicked Airlines. Have a safe and enjoyable journey.

Nice equipment. I changed your sheet a bit, now you and the GM can easily see how many cash you have left, and how much treasury you've received.
@GM Wicked Question: is it allowed to wear a wrist sheath and the sleeves of many garments at the same time?

GM Wicked |

Yes, you can wear both. Non-magical gear (the wrist sheath) doesn't take up a magic item slot. The one-item-per-slot rule is only for magic items.

GM Wicked |

I don't think I ever said... Sorry! You should only have two traits, so you need to drop an old one in favor of your JR trait. You can, however, keep a third trait, but only if you also have an appropriate drawback.

Gôlgast |

Golgast, you forgot 250 gp income from the bounty for blackfang. You are richer than you think.
@ Kandor:
Ooops!
Thanks for reminding me!
Re wristsheathes - they're great for wands!
I have a sorcerer in one campaign who has one wristsheathe with a wand in it on each arm. Great for quick access to wands needed quickly!

Gôlgast |

Okay, I've updated my profile with the extra cash Kandor reminded me of.
I used it to buy a composite bow and arrows.
AND a horse! Since we're going to be on the road in a caravan. Seems to make sense.
I wanted a bit of cash left over for investing in the Caravan sort of thing.
How should we invest in the Caravan? By chipping in for trade goods?

I was so free to set up a separate loot sheet for the Caravan.
I suggest that everyone substracts the money he want to use for the caravan from his own money, and put in into the caravan funds.
Make sure you can easily verify how much money you have invested in the caravan, and put that number in your field on the Caravan sheet. (I am even lazier, and have my Caravan sheet field linked to the total Caravan donations on my sheet, so those will always match.)
There we can track the caravan expenses and see if everyone is paying their share.
I don't mind if there are differences between the individual contributions because different classes have different spending habits. Just try to keep it balanced.

GM Wicked |

Hey guys, just want to make sure I have your NPC choices correct. Of course, you'll befriend all four of the major NPCs. Here I'm just referring to trait choices and special relationships.
Golgast and Kandor - Koya
Lugert and Samiya - Shalelu
Is this right?

Gôlgast |

Caravan investment (and stuff)
According to my HL file, Gôlgast should have 328 GP after all his loot and shopping. Including after buying a horse and all that.
So I've decided to put 200 GP into the caravan (noted on the sheet) to start.
I figure if we'll be on this journey for the long haul, I might as well try to get some cash out of it!

Gôlgast, to me it looks like you should have 402 GP left. You have received 2,625 GP (240 starting, 250 bounty, 2,135 loot) and spend 2,223 GP (al the negative numbers combined)
Lugert, according to my calculations you now have a Negative amount of 63 GP. This is because you have counted the potion of invisibility as a cash income.
May I suggest both of you switch to Samiya's and mine loot sheet.
It is not as pretty, but it keeps the cash separated from the items, and is a lot easier in my opinion to see the total numbers.

GM Wicked |

Maybe Kandor is a cleric of Abadar in real life :). Fantastic job keeping up with numbers. I can see how the "game within a game" and the caravan rules appeal to you so.
Just waiting on Golgast to join the fun in the Dragon before I update again.

Numbers are a hobby of mine, why do you think I started playing Pathfinder?
I made a clear distinction between equipment (items that will exist indefinitely) and consumables. (things that will run out like wands and potions, and services bought) I hope you agree with that assessment.
This is because I believe that a magical wand worth 2000 gp is less of a reward than a magical ring of 2000gp, as the wand will run out and turn into a worthless twig, while the ring will permanently benefit the wearer.
This is to prevent a situation where we all have received the same amount in items and cash, but somehow one person has worse equipment because he has received and/or bought mostly consumables.

GM Wicked |

Golgast, the first Gameplay post is up, and I'd like golgast's reaction to what's written there :). Put yourself in the scene.

GM Wicked |

Just a few days have passed (let's say 3). Sandra was gone when you left to explore the cave, and just got back today.

Gôlgast |

@ GM Wicked:
Just so I don't plan on building Gôlgast around things that you don't allow…
Would you allow the Fencing Grace (from Ultimate Intrigue) feat?
Otherwise, there's the Slashing Grace feat (ACG) with the longsword.
Or the Dervish Dance feat (ISWG) with the scimitar.
This wouldn't be until level 5 anyway, should Gôlgast make it there.
That's when a magus gets two feats: one regular and one bonus class feat.
That would be so I could add more starch to sword blows, with a DEX bonus.
I just like to plan ahead if possible.

GM Wicked |

Yep Fencing Grace is just fine (assuming you meet pre reqs). I've long wondered why paizo has been so stubborn to allow Dex-to-damage, and am glad to see these options.

Gôlgast |

@ GM Wicked:
Okay, thanks for that.
Gives me several options for Dexterity damage!
I've also revised the personal loot sheet for Gôlgast on the Loot spreadsheet.
I also inserted an alternate spreadsheet, if anyone thinks it would help. Just a fancier format and some spaced to record coins. Mostly because some treasure includes large numbers of coins at times.

Samiya Takajitsu |

Is Samiya's Kitsune form a secret?
Shalelu is a mentor and Ameiko is an employer, and since Samiya knows them for several years, they definitely know about the kitsune form.
Lugert probably knows too, since Samiya and him "share" Shalelu.
And Sandru either knows her and her kitsune form for several years, or just being familiar. I leave that to GM Wicked.

GM Wicked |

Sorry guys I thought I posted here. My parents' house burned down yesterday so we're piecing things together. No one was hurt, but you may not hear from me for a few days. Thanks for your patience!

GM Wicked |

FYI I plan to resume posting tomorrow!
