Count Visage
Sagittarius steps forward, unleashing his barrage of arrows at Xane this time.
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 141d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
1d8 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
At the range of 25 ft, one of Sagittarius arrows strikes home, dealing 10 damage.
Sir Rhaym
Frack! Someone I can't smite on!
Another attack on armored axe-man.
Warhammer attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12 for a possible 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 bludgeoning, sliver and magic damage.
Count Visage
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (1) + 16 = 17
1d12 + 20 ⇒ (5) + 20 = 25
Lul, second one on this dude's attacks.
Sir Rhaym and Taurus' weapons match, and neither is able to strike a decisive blow.
Xane's blow lands true upon Sagitarius, nearly sending him to one knee as he reels from the blow, yet a smile is still upon his face.
Nianju, Child Assassin
Stealthyness: 1d20 + 19 - 5 ⇒ (8) + 19 - 5 = 22
Moving like a blur Nianju darts forward, slipping behind the archer while he is distracted by Xane, and lashing out with Rat's Tail.
Slash!: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Damage+Sneak Attack: 1d6 + 11 + 2d6 ⇒ (4) + 11 + (3, 5) = 23
Woot! 2 ki points remaining.
Niulamayu
"Hey!" comes a voice from the cloud's direction. "Don't kill him!" "He's not nice though." "That's true!" "But we can't just kill him!" "Need to ask him where we can find Opiuchus." "That we do." "Suppose so."
The cloud nonetheless holds position.
Mr. Big
Mr. Big struggles awake at 3hp.
"Wha' happed? Enyvon cee wha' it ee?"
Initiative 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
If nothing is threatening him, Mr. Big will drink a potion of healing.
Healing 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
If he is being threatened, he will summon an Eagle-Boy to beat it off him (but I'm suspecting the not being threatened)
(I really hope I'm not being threatened... I need the HP... woot! Max! HPs at 12)
Sir Rhaym
Gritting his teeth, Sir Rhaym swung again.
Warhammer attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19 for a possible 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 bludgeoning, sliver and magic damage.
.Xane.
Xane sighs as Sagittarius collapses. She kneels and checks on his state, tearing shirts/cloth as necessary to staunch his wounds should he still be alive.
Note, Xane doesn't actually have a heal skill...but she is trying to save the guy's life. Any one feel free to help out. :D
"Well..I guess that counts as a submit.." She says and looks towards the armored figure,
"Well Sparky. What about you?" She asks.
Sir Rhaym
Sir Rhaym swung again.
Warhammer attack: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 8 + 2 = 25 for a possible 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 bludgeoning, sliver and magic damage.
Nianju, Child Assassin
Round 3 action
Nianju shows no intention of continuing his attack against the archer once he has fallen, though he also makes no attempt to aid Xane's clumsy efforts either. He begins to move back towards the other knot of fighters now that the paladin has displayed some skill at keeping the other knight at bay. His route is somewhat circuitous however, the ninja disappearing from sight behind another case as he advances.
Stealthyness: 1d20 + 19 - 5 ⇒ (12) + 19 - 5 = 26
You didn't respond to my post in the discussion. Does he seem to be a literal, animate suit of armor with nothing inside? or is he a suit of full plate with no indication of the wearer?
Mr. Big
On his turn, Mr. Big will attack Taurus while being prone.
2 Claws (prone + flank)
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 for a possible 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 for a possible 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
1 Bite
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 for a possible 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Eagle-Boy will also attack
2 Claws (flank)
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 for a possible 1d4 ⇒ 3
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 for a possible 1d4 ⇒ 2
1 Bite
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17 for a possible 1d4 ⇒ 2
The dice hate me!
Sir Rhaym
Staggered back by the tooth-rattling blow from the axe-man, Sir Rhaym Lays on Hands [swift] himself for 1d6 ⇒ 2 points healing, before he attacks again.
Warhammer attack: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 8 + 2 = 12 for a possible 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 bludgeoning, sliver and magic damage.
Count Visage
Taurus lands another follow up blow on the staggering Sir Rhaym.
"I may fall.. But not alone.." Taurus' eyes follow Sir Rhaym down, as he hefts his weapon for another swing.
Heads up, now that he's seen you guy's healing capacity and is no longer trying to win the fight since Sagittarius went down, he's going to try and take a few with him. He's gonna start going for finishing blows. 22 damage to Rhaym.
Niulamayu
"Why do you want to fall at all?" comes the question from the cloud's direction. "We didn't want to hurt you." "Still don't." "We just want to talk." "You're being misled, you see." "That's what it is exactly." "Won't you listen?" "Won't you understand?"
The cloud moves over to the fallen form of Sir Rhaym.
The dice really do hate me.
Mr. Big
No idea if this will work or not...
Mr. Big casts Daze defensively on Taurus
Casting Defensively DC 15 (or 16) 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
If successful Taurus needs a save DC 16 (unless he is immune to mind effecting... which would be bad).
If Taurus is dazed, Mr. Big will stand up (if not he will remain prone, might need a spellcraft check to determine).
Mr. Big
On Mr. Big's next turn (as Taurus is dazed on his turn) Mr. Big will attempt to Daze him again (DC 16)
And Eagle-boy will attack.
2 Claws (with flank)
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 for 1d4 ⇒ 2
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 for 1d4 ⇒ 2
1 Bite
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 for 1d4 ⇒ 1
Nianju, Child Assassin
Round 4
Assuming he can get to Taurus this turn...
Nianju reappears a good distance from where he disappeared, darting out and placing himself behind the hulking form and hacking at whatever looks vulnerable to his eye. His blade misses it's mark however, scraping across the armor.
Rat's Tail: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 8 + 2 = 13
Damage+Sneak Attack: 1d6 + 11 + 2d6 ⇒ (2) + 11 + (1, 5) = 19
.Xane.
Semi-satisfied that Sagittarius isn't going to die quite yet Xane calmly walks towards the fighting still going on around the armored figure.
"Your friend is resting comfortably. We could simply stop now and calmly talk things over." She suggests, though she does wince as she delicately examines the slight amount of arrow still sticking out of herself.
Sir Rhaym
Sir Rhaym swims to conciousness, realizing he is badly hurt, he Lays on Hands [swift] for 1d6 ⇒ 5 healed.
From his prone position, he notes that the cloud person is overhead, raining some kind of healing on him. Nearby, he can see the armored feet of the Axe-man.
Gritting his teeth at the lack of chivalry (fortunately his opponent lacks honour), Sir Rhaym lashes out in a Trip attack with his hammer.
Trip attack vs CMD: 1d20 + 7 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (6) + 7 + 2 - 4 = 11
Sir Rhaym
I know the chances are supremely low, but if you guys are still in the neighborhood, I'm back and roleplaying again! I'd be happy to start GMing this again. :)
Dude!
You put your message on the Discussion board; no one notices it there, especially after it's dropped off the active boards after three months.
You need to put your "I'm Back" on the Gameplay board. It will pop up on the old players "My Active Games" board list. 'Cause I would be up for it.
