So how young exactly are we? Eight and adorable or thirteen and awkward? That would influence my interactions with people.
Anywhere from 5 - 8 years younger than your Age of Adulthood. Example: Human anywhere from 12 - 15 years old, Elf anywhere from 102 - 105, and so on. Slightly going outside the RAW here, but it's my game and I can change it if I want. LOL.

Paizo is a little Jewish... Age of adulthood for humans is actually 15

12-15 for humans makes sense to me. You're old enough to actually accomplish quite a bit, don't fold like a card table from a blow from an adult and can actually handle some tough situations.

Ok, Asho will be max age - 13.
He's one of the village gravedigger's sons and spends time with the undertaker in an offhand apprentice capacity.
Asho is known in town as a troublemaker, but no bully - more youthful exuberance and breakin village bylaws and curfews. Lately he's been tattooing himself and anyone who will let him, much to the opprobrium of village elders. His father, once a decorated soldier but now an alcoholic is a kindhearted man but an ineffective disciplinarian - Asho's mother, a local beauty who left long ago appears briefly from time to time.
Asho's ribbing of Gashka points toward some misplaced affection; being interested in the exotic and as his father is an outsider, he is welcoming to Hector, Tikkle, Jin, Pharnox and Valltera due to their heritage and will likely try to entice Pharnox, Jin, Hector, Tikkle and Flynt especially into nefariousness and fun. It's just a pity he can't tattoo Tikkle, but piercing might be fun... He's just a little scared of Gashka, and covers it up with some adolescent teasing and one-upmanship...
He is publically cool toward Anyka, but is likely just secretly jealous of her training.

Actually, you wouldn't know Pharnox, he's never been to Swampwood. You'd first meet him in the cells.
Well I will be 12 then. In all fairness Flynt is more likely to be the one to instigate, but I could see Asho and Flynt being good friends, at the very least good natured rivals. He won't know what to make of Tikkle or Jin. Being on the cusp of puberty, he would probably flirt with Valterra , Anyka, and Gashka though a little afraid of the latter and make fun of the former two for being nobles. Expect to hear the word princess alot. Hector might grate his nerves depending on how condescending he is.
Can I just say....this is going to be one very interesting game?
Okay, so just wanted to run something by you GM.....in Gashka's case, since her kind tend to mature faster and she has all this responsibility heaped on her at home, is it still okay for her to start out at being 9 years old? I know that it pretty much makes her the youngest character, but I'm pretty sure I can pull it off and it doesn't change how I would run her. She has a temper on her, but she knows how strong she is so...unless pushed into it she just walks away from conflict.
I need to re-familiarize myself with the back stories of the other characters, but I'm already pretty sure of how things will go concerning her and Tikkle....but, more on that later. I want to go over everything first. You said that we wouldn't know Pharnox till we meet him right? So, I just have to look at everyone else then. I'll post in a bit.
Well, maybe I'll get around to posting more tomorrow. There's actually quite a bit to look over and I need to get sleep at some point.
just a note on Terra, (Vallterra is her proper name, but she like Terra)
there is additional back story included which is not really pertinent right now but it may be later after adulthood, it basically is a possible outcome later on. but the good thing it does provide is a little bit of insight to her possible personality but this will not be overly evident at this stage.

she will certainly be going oracle once she reaches adulthood (stone mystery)
Terra reminded me of something I've been meaning to ask, what classes is everyone switching over to once we reach adulthood? Tikkle is most likely going to be a Brawler, but as I'm reading over the new classes, I'm tempted to go swashbuckler.
(As most other GM's are asking, I'll keep a lookout for any paizo updates on the playtest classes until they're officially published in August.)
@ Gashka - Age 9 is still within the age range I set, so you're fine.
@ Tikkle - Any classes will be available.
So, I know I said I was gonna get some sleep...but, I was working on a floor with decent people and my friend Eric told me about Free Comic Book Day at our local Comic Book stores.....so, I just sorta kept buggin henry till he took me. *shrugs and tries to look innocent* They were doing a free give away where you could pick 3 comic books from a various assortment, plus they had a bunch of stuff for 25% and 50% off.....as well as comics of all sorts for just 50 cents apiece. We went to two different stores, and when all was said and done I had 10 comic books and only paid a total of 2.19 for them. Fairly awesome I have to say. Yeah, I know....I'm a big kid....so sue me. LOL
As far as adulthood classes for Gashka...I'm not sure yet. I was gonna wait and see what happened in this adventure to see what she would lean towards. Alot depends on how events unfold in game play and what influences her decisions.
That picture is pretty appropriate. Flynt will probably be a ranger/rogue. Tikkle could be a samurai since he's a drifter.
I just thought it was really super cute! ;o) I've also added some information to Gashka's background to sort of explain how she got so strong at what would seem to most a young age. I also included two pictures, the first is pretty much what I see the younger version of Gashka looking like with a few minor differences, and then the second is kind of how I see her looking as she starts to mature. Again, that picture is just slightly different than what she actually looks like and dresses in. I just wanted to give people a chance to get a better idea of what she's like personality wise and what she looks like.
Does it come across alright? I'm fairly new at adding pictures to stuff. I'm still in the learning process and the internet is not quite as helpful as I would like for it to be.....but, at least I found something a little more appropriate.
I could totally see Tikkle using a Katana. Lol I think it would be great!
I like the adult picture better than the young one but its probably due to the cgi nature of the latter. And yea, putting 'orc girl' into google produces Less Than Safe For Work stuff that is not useful.
DM: Since we're a little older, I tweaked my trait and one of my feats so Flynt is a proper archer now.

Gashka, I found that picture you thought was hidden away, you really can't bury things with an earth bender around...
Adult for human is 15 + a min of 1 for having a class level.
Chart looks like so.

So technically 16 is min for human.

On another note
Sylphs are usually born to human parents...
Slyphs don't have a race of their own and their adulthood is a min of 64 starting. Which would make my human parents venerable. So probably going to stick with something closer to the human aging progression and make Jin around 10.

Definitely fighter, most likely swashbuckler once reaching adulthood.
Not sure what Asho will progress into - it depends on how strict GM is with options. Thinking mostly martial though maybe a mix with support/bard...

It certainly is, but now I have to come up with a reptillian NPC to fit it. The picture is just too perfect to not use.

I'm glad everyone liked the pic....some of the human kids didn't quite fit some of ya'lls visual concepts...but, it was just tooo cute for me not to put up. When I saw it I was all like, "Yeah, that is so totally us." Lol As for Gashka's pics, the one younger lookin one is just a rough idea of what she looks like as her young self with some slight variations. The older pic is how she looks as she starts to develop more, again with some slight variations. I had to look for a loooonnnnggggg time to even find those two.

Well more I meant the picture is amazingly accurate to include a cat-person. Now noticed the half-orc too. Scarily acurate.
And Dark Elf. But it's not too surprising, it's a Skyrim based picture anyway.
With Jin's feats and stats what they are, the most likely class will be Slayer. Maybe into Eldritch Knight or Arcane Trickster if we need casting ability.
With +2 Dex and +2 Int I couldn't really use either of the Druid builds (Casting / Melee). Which would get me the most out of the elemental theme.

@Anyka Wow, that's a really nice picture. I didn't really know where the group pic that I found came from...and I don't know what skyrim is...but, like I said before I just thought it was too cute not to post. It was one of the things I found when looking for half orc children, or one of those searches. If I happen to find anymore group shots I'll put them up.

Wow I've missed a few things...
First, that picture is just too adorable xD
Second, Tikkle is a bit too spazzy to be a Ronin. Something that requires NO wisdom bonus is in order for him, and I do enjoy the idea of punching and kicking everything in sight xD. If the party can use a less smashy punchy type when we really decide, I may move a bit of that STR bonus back toward CHA and do Swashbuckler instead, using his naturally augmented stats better.

@Asho...Gashka rolls her eyes...alot. She is starting to learn the difference between those that are actually bullying her and those that are just teasing in fun. At his ribbings, she probably just rolls her eyes, shakes her head and walks away. She might say something back once in a while, but it's hard to figure out exactly what she would say until we start interacting with each other. She is mostly the quiet type, unless someone really stirs her up. Seeing as how she's so much stronger than the other children though, and she knows it...she tries not to let her anger at others get out of hand. If that makes any sense.
Okay, so I think it's time for me to get a little sleep.....I'll be on later though since I don't have to work tonight. YAY!!!!! :o)
