Feel free to adjust your positions accordingly, you start in the shaded are on the map :)
The spring festival was just kicking off in the small hamlet of Biston Pond in Varisia. Tents were propped up, with vendors selling their goods. Man and woman sell their wares, everything from hand-crafted pottery, to dried meats and fruits from the local farms. The warm days and calm nights were occasionally filled with a loud patron who had imbibed too much from the day.
Everything is going well, until about the third day of the week long festival. You overhear at the local tavern, What do you mean we are almost out. There was enough stored below to last until the festival's end, or at least more than half?!, said the barkeep.
Look Jack, I have personally taken stock of what we have down there. There are some boxes, that have been chewed through, rats most likely. The inventory in the crates seem okay though. I have let a few cats down in there, in hope to quell the issue. It work for one day, but on the second day, I went down and all three cats were dead, with large gashes in there side. I have no clue what killed them, but
Cal, I don't care about the details, I just don't want to let my patron and all the festival goers down. Now...
The barkeep stops mid sentence, as he notices the five of you who seem slightly out of place, mildly decked out in the attire of adventurers. He puts down his rag, and walks up to your group.
Howdy, the name is Jack, I am the local owner of the inn here, and I have a problem. You seem like the "hardy type", and I was wondering if you could do me a huge favor. Like you may have heard me and Carl discussing is there is a issue in my cellar, my product has either gone missing or has been gnawed on by rats. I was hoping you could go down there, look around and see if you could turn anything up. I cannot run out of drink before the festival's end, my business would be crushed. I can offer each of you 500 gold pieces to fix my problem
--------------
After agreeing to the terms, you head down into the cellar. You see two crates with chew holes. There are "regular" size claw scratches on the crates, ad some larger ones, about the size of a dog. You easily recognize the larger ones as dire rat claw marks. After some more searching, you discover a secret door on the northeastern wall. You decide to delve deeper into the food and beer disappearance and go into the secret passage.
The secret passage winds though a series of tunnels and into a old aqueduct, abandoned hundreds of years prior. You start to search the winding tunnels, and you come across the usual critters, dire rats, the occasional normal rat. After quickly and efficiently dispatching the rodent, you make it to a room with a creature with a hood pulled over its head. standing in the rear corner.
-------------------
How'd you find me? I concealed the passage very well, impressive to say the least. I don't take kindly to intruders into my home, ESPECIALLY THOSE THAT KILL MY FRIENDS!
With those words he makes a loud whistle, draws a crossbow and starts to come towards you.

He checks his crossbow, yup loaded, and raises it in response to the rat man.

"Excuse me," Bubo says, voice calling out from the back of the passage and muffled from his mask, "but your friends tried to kill us. Me, mostly. I think our retaliation was justified."

I don't want to officially declare my action since I'm last. Maybe what you guys do will change it. My plan is to use Freebooter's Bane on the Wererat and then position myself where I can see down either approaching tunnel. If possible I will then ready an action to try to block the first tunnel where I see enemy reinforcements coming. I suspect my non-enhanced weapons will be no good against the wererat. HOWEVER, what you guys do might change all that. My AC probably isn't the highest but I can tank if there's no one else better.

Leena casts shield and moves 2 squares up and 4 left drawing Ridill and enhancing it with her arcane pool.
Ridill:Yay playtime. We will kill your enemies. That will be fun.

Leena, blade in hand steps forward and cuts a large gash in the abdomen of the dire rat. Blood gushes out, and just as the woman thinks she has outright killed it, the blood clots just enough to keep it on its feet. Jack, seeing a bolt sticking out of her ribcage area, moves forward and tells her its going to be okay. He chants, and expels the bolt shaft, closing her wound. It is as if the wound was never there to begin with.
Meanwhile, four rats, the common household pest come rushing through the hallway to the south where their larger kin came from. Three attack Kale, still unable to get his head into the fight at hand, The final rat goes after Bubo, their second cousin twice removed.

wererat is fine
Kale, rallies his allies and tells them to focus their efforts on the wererat leader. The theory being if the leader falls, the support will go as well. After relaying his thoughts, the slices into the annoying rat that bit his ankle and chops it into two pieces.
The dire rats, surround Leena and all claw, bite a scratch at their next meal. Leena is ready for the mass of angry dire rats wanting to chew on her flesh. With the help of her physical armor and some smart tactics, all but one of the rats fail to penetrate her stout defenses. There is one rat, that manages to fight itself past her armor, and the shimmering magic cast upon her to bite her calf, causing a small trickle of blood to run down her leg.
After the dire rats attack, the leader reloads his crossbow and takes aim at Bartleby. The bolt flies wide right and breaks against the wall

I have AC 17 against the rats, actually, due to my Unnatural trait giving me +2 dodge against animals.
"Argh!" Bubo steps away from the rat that bit him, ignoring the wound for now. He retrieves a small brown sphere from his belt pouch and another vial from his bandolier, adding the clear contents of the vial to a small hole in the sphere before throwing it at the wererat leader.
The throw looks clumsy at first, but it spins with unerring precision, detonating with an explosion when it crashes, the flames reaching out at another direrat.
Finished lobbing his weapon, the ratfolk's slender fingers take out a dagger from yet another pouch.
5-foot-step northwest, throw bomb, then draw Silver Dagger as move action.

Leena, quite ticked off that the dire rat bit her, retaliates with all her anger. She slices into the rat near her, cutting it cleanly in half. She than carefully channels the arcane, and slices and zaps the other dire rat in front of her. The smell of singed fur and flesh fills your nostrils as it goes limp.
Bubo, takes out two vials mixing them together and lobs the fiery unstable concoction at the leader. It explodes in a fiery ball, burning the wererat in the face, disfiguring it even more than it already was. The dire rat standing nearby, not expecting anything hostile, jumps out of the way out of sheer instinct, only suffering minor burns to its flesh, but it is more than its body can take and collapses on the ground, bleeding.
Bartleby moves up, and cast a spell on his ally. After a few brief seconds, Kale's muscles expand and retract to their normal size.

Bubo creates yet another volatile bomb, taking care not to hit his allies and throwing it to the side of the battle, just enough to hit his enemies indirectly.
The throw is, again, clumsy but just barely manages to arrive where it's needed.
Targeting the empty square one west of the wererat. I just need to hit AC 5.

Bubo, mixes another volatile cocktail and lobs it at the enemies. He takes special care to only hit the enemies. The throw is very shoddy at best, clearly throwing near allies gives Bubo some cause for concern, but he manages to find a soft spot and it lands right between the two enemies.
The wererat doesn't manage to avoid the splashing fire, consumed by his anger. The dire rat though, is quick on its feet, and manages to again only take some minor burns to its flesh.
