Right on.
for saying sake, it just misses the front of the paper walled villager house;.....
Gutsy is now a crackling mass of pork cracklins, though it still flies; NS
Muddy is able to duck down and take half; he looks somewhat dried out and cracked, and he burbles his dissatisfaction with events.
S
The slimy thing sizzles and boils from the heat of the blast.
NS
(also need an overcome spell resistance roll from Altai)

random blatherings....anybody can read.....
A-fishing in the Wear;
An' catched a fish upon he's heuk (=caught) (=his hook)
He thowt leuk't vary queer. (=thought looked very strange)
But whatt'n a kind ov fish it was (=what kind of)
Young Lambton cudden't tell-
He waddn't fash te carry'd hyem, (=could not be bothered to carry it home)
So he hoyed it doon a well (=threw it down)
Altai Iscarni
I got them in ghij 62-65; correct position if you want.
Just took a look. I meant to have Buzz1 in GHIJ 61-64 carrying Mucky and Buzz2 in RSTU 61-64 carrying Fishy. However, as they'll start climbing next turn, relative positioning isn't that important.
They'll give the grapplees a few bites along the way, though. Falling damage caps at 20d6, right?
Emrael Bladewalker
To herself, "Hmm, with all this magic flashing around, I think rushing in might not be in my best interests yet."
She remains where she is, sheathing the katana and drawing her bow.
Note: She can draw her katana as part of an AoO, so if one of the critters approaches her and provokes, she will drop her bow - it looks like it's happened before - draw and slash.
No move.
Elgan Dreadwood
“I love it when Altai starts this sh*t,” murmurs Beldan. He sneaks out to R78 (fast stealth), sheaths his sword and draws his crossbow.
"Meh. Yeh. Iz alri' ah guesses." Elgan offers casually as he chants his own subtle spell.
A dark thunderhead springs up suddenly, and a bright-@$$ bolt of lightning flashes downwards.
"If'n yeh lahk dat surt uf t'ing." He adds straight faced as the roll of thunder follows the blast.
SPell is Call lightning storm, a higher lvl version of Elgan's old favorite. Lightning blast to the one NOT being carried, 5d6 dmg.
5d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 5, 4, 2) = 15
Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe
I got it ..sorry
Pip limbers up his bow and gets to work. His floating, singing sword keeps up the melody as he sends shafts downrange.
1d20 + 23 ⇒ (19) + 23 = 421d20 + 23 ⇒ (15) + 23 = 381d20 + 21 ⇒ (7) + 21 = 281d20 + 18 ⇒ (18) + 18 = 361d8 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 211d8 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 211d8 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 191d8 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19
If first shot hits, another arrow strikes doing 1d8 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21 extra.
101 damage if all hit
I guess towards the gut-flumph?
dungeonmaster heathy
The cat fish merely flows out of the dragonfly's grip, and drifts 60 feet toward the party, flying through the air.
It spits out another gut flumph, and
then it sprays Emrael with a blast of water.
9d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 5, 5, 3, 2, 3, 1, 3) = 27 bludgeon damage; d.c. 25 reflex for half. If she fails, she's pushed off the bridge into the river at R83.
The scummy humanoid carried by dragonfly 2 tries to break grapple and fails; dragonfly can munch him with an aoo.
the original gut flumph closes on doc and elgan.
flies right past Beldan.
the mud noid strides up next to Beldan en route across the bridge; not seeing the sneaksy rogue.
And the oozing slime slides into the water, under the bridge, looking for Emrael there......group's attack!!!
Emrael Bladewalker
I feel like a noob asking this question, but I can't remember... Am I able to use Many Shot and Rapid Shot at the same time?
Yes. Roll the attack like normal for Rapid Shot, but the first attack consumes two arrows and deals damage accordingly. Precision-based damage bonus only applies once, but Strength damage bonuses and a ranger's favored enemy bonus would apply to each arrow.
Dok
Dok takes aim at the catfish and lets 'em go...
First arrow flies: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (18) + 20 = 38
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Additional damage if that hits: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Second arrow sails in: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Third arrow loosed: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Fourth arrow streaks forth: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (9) + 20 = 29
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
dungeonmaster heathy
Reflex save 1d20 + 13
Oh, so close!
The elven kensai is blasted from the bridge by the powerful spray. How deep is the water? If I can stand, how is my speed affected by the current?
It's about 4 feet deep; about half speed I reckon. Current's not too bad.
dungeonmaster heathy
Dok takes aim at the catfish and lets 'em go...
First arrow flies: 1d20+20
Damage: 1d8+4
Additional damage if that hits: 1d8+4Second arrow sails in: 1d20+15
Damage: 1d8+4Third arrow loosed: 1d20+10
Damage: 1d8+4Fourth arrow streaks forth: 1d20+20
Damage: 1d8+4
The first arrow hits and doesn't seem to do too much to the thing.
Beldan Vale
1 person marked this as a favorite.
Beldan creeps-five foot steps back from the mudnoid to R77, and lets fly with his crossbow, rapid re-loading like a pimped up Inevitable.
Haste, inspire, deadly aim and point blank shot all factored in to the attacks with the shocking burst crossbow:
#1: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (13) + 22 = 35 Damage: 1d8 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17 plus 1d6 ⇒ 3 electrical, plus 7d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 1, 2, 2, 4, 4) = 17 sneak damage.
#2: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (6) + 22 = 28 Damage: 1d8 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15 plus 1d6 ⇒ 4 electrical, plus 7d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 5, 1, 4, 2, 2) = 22 sneak damage.
#3: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (12) + 18 = 30 Damage: 1d8 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19 plus 1d6 ⇒ 2 electrical, plus 7d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 4, 4, 6, 3, 2) = 26 sneak damage.
First successful sneak attack also does 7 bleed, plus 2 strength damage.
So 132 damage if they all hit and it doesn’t have any resistances or immunities.
