Happy to use yours Ella, especially as a combat healer if you'd like me to hold on to it. I figure I will need to buy a wand eventually.

How many potions are there?

There were two potions on Borvius. Sorry for the delay, maps were a little tricky.

The sheriff points you to the Montchello warehouse, mentioning that Borvius is a married man. His wife Robella runs a curiosity shop next door, but Feldane has no idea if she is party to her husbands schemes. Arriving in at the docks, you find the warehouse sizable for a large operation, with two bay doors large enough to admit a wagon. Smaller doors to the left bear a painted sign over them, reading "Ilsurian Storage & Hauling". A smaller building adjacent to the warehouse, separated by a narrow alley, bears the name "Mistress Robella's Curiousity Shop".

How would you like to proceed? I will post the map later.

"Going in there with swords drawn may well get us all killed. Perhaps if we had a better ideas of the numbers we face?"

"Why not ask Mistress Robella outright?" Lunevi suggested. "Her husband has already been arrested, so if she's not involved, she'll want to make that clear, but if she is, perhaps we can catch her up to no good?"

”Sounds good to me, Lunevi. You feel like doing the talking here? Let’s mention it and see what she has to say.”

She considers the wiseness of the decision, but finally shrugs, gives Urah something of a devil-may-care grin, and marches up to the shop, checking the door to enter it.

Were it to be done, best it were done quickly! Fate follows the others.

This small store is filled with strange knickknacks, art, and unusual tools. The display case to the west features jewelry, most of it appearing to be locally crafted. The case to the east contains oddities such as turtle-shell soup bowls and bizarre gnome cooking utensils. The center case is filled with bottles and vials and a selection of scented soaps and perfumes. Behind the counter are double doors leading north. Glass windows are set in the entrance doors.

"Ah. The caravan's loyal hounds." the woman behind the counter comments, looking over the Pathfinders. "I'd wondered when you would come calling." Short, dark hair frames a face lined by years, but her eyes are still sharp.

With a greeting like that, there was no mistaking this woman was somehow involved in the whole mess they'd found themselves in. It was with a sigh that Lunevi replies, obviously disappointed. "And here I'd hoped you'd be more civil." Shaking her head, she adds, "But regardless, we're here to inform you that your husband's been arrested. Is there anything you know about his mischief that you'd like to share?"

Given the woman's demeanor, it doesn't strike her as wise to inform her of their intentions as to the warehouse.

"Or do you have something more foolish in mind?"

"Only that if you've harmed him, you'll find knives in your back soon enough." Everyone but Luna recognizes she is furtively reaching for something behind the counter!

Oblivious to any threats, Lunevi frowns. "That's hardly kind of you. He's still alive, if that's what you're worried about." She shakes her head. "But a murderer is hardly going to be shown leniency by the law."

Ella darts forward, quickly imbibing a protective draught.

Fumbling around as Fate's hex takes hold, a click is heard under the counter before the floor falls out from beneath Urah! Seeing Ella taking a draught, she does likewise, draining a flask from her belt. Her form changes, becoming more bestial, nails lengthening to claws!

"Urah!" A grim look on her face, Ella closes on Robella, blade flashing.

Fearing the beastial lady may be dangerous, Fate adds to her curse.

Stardust (5/day) (Sp) Foe in 30 ft sheds light, can't be invisible/conceal & -1 to attack rolls & perception checks for 1 rounds.

The ifrit stands up, rubbing his sore bum, and starts looking for a way out of the dastardly pit that got him.

Not wanting Ella to be in the midst of combat alone, Lunevi begins casting summon monster I to at least give her friend a flanking friend.

I'm... pretty sure that I have to spend the round casting the spell and then the doggo appears in the next round, but I'm not 100% sure.

Yeah, that's how it works.

Ella finds her foe moving much quicker than before, dodging aside as she shoulders open the door behind her. Taking cover behind the other still closed door, she snatches a vial from her belt and hefts it at Ella's face!

Ranged Touch on Ella: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Fire Damage on Ella: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (2, 2) + 2 = 6
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

The vial explodes in a burst of flame that even singes Robella as well! In the pit, Urah finds himself stuck with no obvious escape save for climbing out.

Ella quickly flings off the burning coat, forced to duel in her shirtsleeves!

"Damnit! That coat cost me 15 crowns!"

Fate drops to the ground. He peers intot hte darkness to find some latch or other lever to help Urah escape. Leaning over the side, he hangs his flail down to give the ifrit a hand hold.

Urah tries to climb up the side.

When her celestial dog comes into being behind the woman, Lunevi grins as it helps Ella to flank while it attacks, enacting smite evil and biting at the deceptive woman.

Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

She moves forward and adjusts her weapons, dropping her quarterstaff in favor of her light crossbow.

The dog shimmers into existence, failing to bite Robella but distracting her enough for Ella to get a quick jab in. As Fate gives Urah enough leverage to pull himself out of the pit, the shop mistress slams the door between her and the swordswoman harrying her.

"Before we pursue, perhaps we should heal first. No reason to learn that lesson a second time."

Fate (as agreed to earlier I believe) uses Ella's wand to heal the injured.

If I have to do one a round to stay in initiative, then I will do it in the order posted above.

Lunevi snags her staff from the floor before advancing to join Ella, unhappy with the turn of events. "That was very rude of her."

She'll stick to Ella for the time being, advancing with her as necessary. I don't mind taking the extra round and delaying to get the healing in before we move along. c:

”Well, at least I found the pit,” Urah laughs, not the slightest embarrassed by yet another spectacular failure as he had become used to the feeling.

Ella blinks, startled by the duel's interruption.

That's hardly sporting - I'll have to remember that one.

Still, a door hopefully shouldn't stop her for too long, so she kicks it open and darts after the fleeing villain.

The summoned dog disappears as Ella throws open the door to give chase. Fate manages to heal Urah's bruises as Luna moves to back up Ella. Inside the back room, crates are stacked high along the walls. Robello grimaces at the pursuit, throwing open a trap door in the floor and leaping down to escape. The threat of Ella's blade causes her to misstep, plummeting down the narrow hole to crash to the floor of the passage below, groaning in pain before laying still.

Ella, let me know if you want to take that first AoO. Party can take actions, but it looks like the fight is over.

If it happened before the fall, Ella would have, but once she's down Ella wouldn't stab her.

Ella raises an eyebrow at Robello's misstep, "Ah."

Keeping her blade at the ready in case this is some exceedingly cunning ruse she calls out to her companions, "Does anyone have a rope?"

Or want to use the ladder along the wall? :)

"Oh, ladder should work. Never mind."

Lunevi tut-tutts, but calls back to Fate and Urah -- "We're pursuing her downstairs!" She then follows Ella, touching her elbow to heal her of the wounds she'd acquired.

"It is doubtful she ran into an empty warehouse. We should be careful as we tread on their grounds."

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21

Urah follows the group, happy someone besides he fell down and bruised more than their pride.

Luna removes Ella's wounds as Fate examines the storeroom. Other than the revealed trapdoor, nothing else appears to be secreted away. The stacks of boxes are irregular, lacking obvious markings. Down the trapdoor, a tunnel extends north and south, unlit and dark.

Are the crates nailed shut etc.?

Some are, others appear to have latches. It would take a little time to investigate fully however.

"We'll need to come back for all of this, but she was trying to escape down here. That means others could be trying to get out too. If anyone sees anything to tell us north or south, let's follow it, otherwise... North."

North is fine with Urah unless he notices something relevant.

Good lord Urah - even on perception?!

"If I may Ms. Quickblade? The shaman lifts Ella's hat off her head at sets it on the ground. He takes out his clay and rubs it vigorously between his hands. from below his palms, flakes of earth glide toward the tricorn. However, as they drift down there is an unmistakable glow within them. As each flake lands atop the hat, they seem to melt in, leaving their glimmer upon the fabric. Fate scoops up the hat and hands it back to Ella. "Now that the enchantment is affixed, I can renew it with a simple gesture until the moon rises. I assure you, no harm has come to your garment."

Casting Light on something, just thought it made sense somewhere on Ella. If any objections, I will cast it on my weapon.

With light shinning into the darkness below, Fate leans over and searches the pit.

Lunevi looks around curiously, casting detect magic to check for any magical mischief that might be about.
