Summary of Important Posts:
I wanted to take a quick timeout to link back to a couple important posts that have info in them that you are still working on.

First are the three large posts that describe the vast majority of the Horn

Lower Caverns

Levels 1 and 2

Much of level 3

Next is Cardinal Thorn’s post where he described the mission, which is essentially to get the Tears of Achlys from Vetra-Kali.

And then you had info on the ritual and the rebuilding of the alchemical golem.

The Ritual

The alchemical golem

Also recall the oozes that you were going to get back to.

You've still missed some rooms on level 3, although I think you've covered levels 1 and 2.

I wonder what she's going to say.

Thiadora reviews the journal, makes a clucking noise with her tongue, and finally looks at you. "Very well, this is very damning. We must report this to the Cardinal. One of you will accompany me."

Once you have selected the one amongst your number that will accompany Thiadora, she teleports the two of you away.

You arrive back at the mansion, outside the Cardinal's study. He is waiting for you. He asks what has brought you, and you explain. Thiadora hands the Cardinal the journal after you have described what you saw, and what you have learned from your prisoners.

The Cardinal reviews the journal. You can see a tick in his forehead as he grows angry. Finally, he looks up "I have no time for this infighting! We are so close to victory! Nothing can stand in our way!" He summons a servant and hands them a script of paper after hastily scrawling something. He offers you a drink while you wait, for what you do not know.

Shortly, two creatures pop into the room. They appear as mostly human looking, attractive females, virtually nude, but with long flowing black hair that is usually positioned to cover their most delicate parts. What is most startling about them are the enormous black feathered wings that strike up out of their backs and brush the ceiling of the Cardinal's study. Each of them are also covered in numerous bruises, cuts, and wounds, some healed, and some still new. They each briefly bow their heads towards the Cardinal, before the one on his left speaks in Infernal, "you have summoned us Cardinal, how may we advance the cause of the Lord of Contracts?"

The Cardinal addresses them, and you, "The Knot Hibernal is declared broken. In accordance with the Pact of Thorns, I release these traitors. They are no longer bound to my service or enjoy my protection. I send to you, my Nessian Knot, these furies. Make the traitors suffer for their treachery and then return to the work at hand. Bring me the daemon's gift!"

With that, Thiadora steps forward and accepts the journal back from the Cardinal and turns to face the two dark-angels as she lays her hand on your shoulder. You are immediately teleported back to the Horn. Very shortly thereafter the two erinyes appear. Thiadora addresses them, "for one week shalt thou serve the Nessian Knot and aid it to reek havoc against the Hibernian traitors." She turns to the Nessian leader, "one week, get it done!" And she disappears.

The Erinyes are named Tisaera and Melinoe. Feel free to make knowledge (planes) checks DC 23, and ask questions about their abilities as appropriate. OR, feel free to interact with them (preferably in a non-sexual manner), and query them as to how they can assist.

Very well, Malleck it is!

Tisarae responds, "Malleck of Alerion, your exploits are well known to us, and while I am sure that you are truly honored to have us at your service, you should know that we too find the arrangement to be agreeable. To be able to stand by the sides of such stalwart warriors as you and doing our Master's bidding against the traitors of the former Knot is an honor. As for the future, you should know that we are bound to service already, but should our Master later direct one of us to serve you instead, we would find that arrangement agreeable as well."

With a 27, Malleck knows some of the basics about Devils, which he assumes applies to the Erinyes.

Devil Traits:

  • Immunity to fire and poison.
  • Resistance to acid 10 and cold 10.
  • See in Darkness (Su) Some devils can see perfectly in darkness of any kind, even that created by a deeper darkness spell.
  • Summon (Sp) Devils share the ability to summon others of their kind, typically another of their type or a small number of less-powerful devils.
  • Telepathy.
  • Except when otherwise noted, devils speak Celestial, Draconic, and Infernal.
  • A devil's natural weapons, as well as any weapons it wields, are treated as lawful and evil for the purpose of resolving damage reduction.

So, what's the plan?

On the other hand, these Banner haven't been to their base of operations, according to the journal. Provided they frequent the town where they recruited them, a bit of boasting might draw their attention, however."

Take them in town, then we plant some of the captured gear and frame them for the Horn's activity.

Of course they would be useful as sacrifices, so we might have to leave only enough of them to be recognized.

An attack in the evening then? Realizing that Pathfinder darkness isn't like some earlier versions, it will make it darker by 1 step, so it would need to be "dim" in order for it to become actually "dark."

So the PCs and the Erinyes will be making an assault, where? The Inn that you suspect they are staying? Can you tell me roughly your attack strategy? Your approach? Your prebuffs?

Not in public, once someone sees us we will be easier to track.
buff: message with Gertart
False Gertart stakes out the inn to find them. He will also study the pretty assassin who would never talk shop with him. (I am out of strategy atm.)
Once located, Gertart will message their locations to the rest of the knot waiting outside. The Erines should go first, with the rest of the knot disguised to look like their followers or children. When they attack he will make a paralytic attack against her.

Xeram will buff with shield and mage armor & false life.
I had shield, so that shield from before would be mage armor.
When the fight is initiated, Xeram's 1st spell will be darkness.
But who will initiate, i don't know. Initiating with the darkness spell would be ideal.
