Well I'm incommunicado most weekends to so I wouldn't worry about that. I'm going to build up backstory and let people plan and then I will start on Monday.

As far as Karrick goes, since he's pretty much on the run from both the Nidal government and the Shield Marshalls of Alkenstar he'd be looking for a place to hide out (and boy howdy the DARK TAPESTRY will work for that pretty well), so getting him involved is about as easy as pointing a neon sign that says "Free Escape Hatch."
The Story begun by drawing you all here with rumors of a grand expedition beyond any taken in Golarion before it. Rumor has it some mighty warrior has been recruiting and inviting people to come to a small island of the coast of Varisia. This is where he claims to have a grand vessel he plans to pilot beyond Golarion itself. But he needs a crew so now he's been looking for anyone interested in travelling farther from Golarion than anyone ever has.
