GM Fuzzfoot
Yes! You can hold your breath for 2x you constitution, but only move actions. If you also take a standard action, then you lose an additional round of breath.
Dr Samuel Ballard
Sam wipes his mouth and stumbles dumbly after Grod but stops in front of the burning house.
He watches some of the others plunge into danger but feels completely unable to help in the given situation.
Yverstrix Halfbloodsson
Twice our con modifier? Never mind, shouting as I did would have emptied my lungs.
Fort: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Yverstrix says, "Coming!", and starts toward the voice, trying to move at his best possible speed.
Mortoth Spellborn
Hearing the shouting coming from the back room, Mortoth keeps his mouth closed and the coat collar over his mouth as he moves that way.
I think I can get there in a single move action, and I was already holding my breath when I entered. I'm guessing there will be some kind of Strength check involved for rescuing Sara?
GM Fuzzfoot
@Mortoth - what you find is Sara trapped under a burning beam. She is unconscious, bleeding and taking damage from the beam each round. It will take two people (including Agrit) to lift the beam enough each round to prevent it further damaging Sara. If 3 or more lift the beam as 2 consecutive full round actions, then someone could pull her out to safety.
Round 3: (Bold may act)
Malthu
Sam - wait
Yverstrix - moved
Mortoth - moved
Shivarra
Grod
Active Spells/Effects: None
Mortoth Spellborn
Seeing the trapped woman, Mortoth motions for Agrit to lift the beam. Here's hoping someone else is coming...
Dr Samuel Ballard
Yver, Mortoth and Malthu are in there correct?
Yverstrix Halfbloodsson
Yverstrix takes hold of the beam, "Got it. Let's be freeing the girl."
Is the beam a matter of leverage or strength? Could Yver, raging, carry enough of a load to let one of Mortoth or Malthu to manage to pull her out?
Fort: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
GM Fuzzfoot
Well, according to the module, it specifically says 3 people (iuncluding Agrit) lift for 2 full-round actions, and no mention of strength, etc.
I am not sure what has happened to Shivarra, so we will assume he is delaying.
As you run into a burning building, Sam and Shivarra see 3 orcs charging at them!
Round 4: (Bold may act)
Malthu (holding breath 1 round) - Full round lift?
Sam
Yverstrix
Mortoth (holding breath 1 round) - Full round lift?
Shivarra
Grod (holding breath? 1 round)
Orcs: Orange, Blue, Pink
Active Spells/Effects: None
Dr Samuel Ballard
I'd like to wait for the results of that Sleep spell before I take my action if I may
Mortoth Spellborn
It takes a full round to cast, so Sam probably needs to do something before the spell finishes.
Mortoth is indeed lifting for his full round. He has 10 rounds of held breath left.
GM Fuzzfoot
Round 4: (Bold may act)
Malthu - lefting (holding breath 1 round)
Sam
Yverstrix
Mortoth - lifting (holding breath 1 round)
Shivarra - casting sleep
Grod (holding breath? 1 round)
Orcs: Orange, Blue, Pink
Active Spells/Effects: None
Dr Samuel Ballard

I don't think I've ever noticed that...
As the screaming orcs come charging across the broken ground, Same quickly conjures a patch of grease beneath their feet.
DC 15 Reflex saves
Yverstrix Halfbloodsson
Given that he was the first one to the house (higher movement speed), and first one *in*, I would think Yver would have been in a position for the full-round lift at the same time as the others? (I admit I didn't move his token to the back room last action...)
Yverstrix continues to hold the beam, feeling it shift as he pulls, "The thing is after moving."
GM Fuzzfoot
Yes, Yverstrix, I agree. Given that, I am going to assume Grod comes in to help pull Sara out at the end of the next round.
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (3) + 0 = 3
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (5) + 0 = 5
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (11) + 0 = 11
All three orcs slip in the grease and fall prone.
The orcs all try to stand up and move out of the grease.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (19) + 0 = 19 Out
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (3) + 0 = 3 Falls
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (11) + 0 = 11 needs save
Reflex Save: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (15) + 0 = 15 Out
Shivarra completes the spell.
Will Save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (16) - 1 = 15
Will Save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (19) - 1 = 18
Will Save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (15) - 1 = 14
Round 5: (Bold may act)
Malthu - lifting (holding breath 2 round)
Sam
Yverstrix - lifting (needs fort save DC 16)
Mortoth - lifting (holding breath 2 round)
Shivarra (finishes sleep spell)
Grod (holding breath? 2 round - pulling out Sara)
Orcs: Orange, Blue (prone, in grease, asleep for 20 rounds), Pink (asleep for 20 rounds)
Active Spells/Effects: None
Shivarra
The witch grins savagely and taunts the remaining orc, casting aspersions on his suitability as a warrior as opposed to a goblin bedslave in a rather crude manner, then follows up with a misfortune hex.
Do I need to roll anything to ensure that he doesn't try to run or wake the other two instead of charging at us?
GM Fuzzfoot
If it were just you, it might require some more prodding, but when he sees Sam, he is more than ready to charge and cut him down.
Dr Samuel Ballard
How rude!
Attack 1: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 5 + 1 = 25
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
As the bloodthirtsy orc charges toward them, Sam instinctively brings up his bow and snaps off a shot, seeing it punch home in the warrior's thigh.
We could use some help out here...! Sam calls over his shoulder into the burning house. At your earliest convenience... but ideally NOW! he yelps at the end, retreating back away from the oncoming orc.
GM Fuzzfoot
Nice hit. Shivarra is up, and then the orc, and then we will see about the others coming out of the house.
GM Fuzzfoot
Got it - thought that was last round.
Will Save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6
The pink starts moving straight for Sam, but as he passes Shivarra he takes a swing with his falchion, certain to score a massive hit. Somehow, though, bad luck intervenes and a piece of the rook from the nearby building falls at just the right moment to block the attack.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 Yahoo for misfortune!
Round 6: (Bold may act)
Malthu
Sam
Yverstrix
Mortoth
Shivarra
Grod
Orcs: Orange, Blue (prone, in grease, asleep for 20 rounds), Pink (asleep for 20 rounds)
Active Spells/Effects: None
Shivarra
Moved the wrong token going by orcs' status, Fuzzfoot
"Clumsy oaf, have your betters even allowed you to touch weapons?" Shivarra dances out of the way, cackling gleefully and pouring more power into the curses as she hexes the orc's ability to defend himself.
5 ft step; AC -2 for 8 rounds (Will DC16 to reduce to 1 round); Cackle: both hexes' duration extended by a round
GM Fuzzfoot
Will Save: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0 So close!
GM Fuzzfoot
Round 6: (Bold may act)
Malthu
Sam
Yverstrix
Mortoth
Shivarra
Grod
Orcs: Orange (AC -2 for 9 rounds, misfortune for 1 round), Blue (prone, in grease, asleep for 20 rounds), Pink (asleep for 20 rounds)
Malthu the Redeemed
Malthu just continues lifting assuming that is still necessary, his muscles straining from the exertion.

GM Fuzzfoot
Sorry - meant to mention that. You have now moved Sara out from underneath the timber, so it is probably good to get out now.
Mortoth Spellborn
Mortoth helps Sara to her feet, hoping she's not too injured to move, and helps her flee the burning building.
I'll be heading out of the building with however many move actions I have available to me with that set of actions, GM.
Yverstrix Halfbloodsson
Fort: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Yverstrix blinks to try to clear the smoke out of his eyes, while keeping the heavy beam up. He exclaims, "Well done!" as Grod pulls Sara free, then says, "Let's be dropping this on three..". He counts up, then drops the beam, leaping back to avoid getting pinned.
Seeing Mortoth helping Sara, Yver takes one last look around the room before rushing rushing out.
GM Fuzzfoot
Congrats to Yverstrix - the only one in 3 games of this that managed to make all of the Fort saves needed!
Grod the Cunning
Stumbling from the burning building, Grod (finally!) takes a breath, then takes stock of the situation. Seeing the one orc standing, he snaps his fingers at Cera and makes a swift gesture. The rhino responds by running the orc down.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 3 + 2 = 25 CHARGE!
Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Crit confirm:
Attack: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 3 + 2 = 11
Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Should've set her to guard the others while I was inside. Oh well.
Dr Samuel Ballard
The orc's mighty swings looks set to take Sam's head off and he can do nothing but blurt out a short yelp of fear. But then providence takes over and the blade catches in a sudden falling piece of debris.
Sam steps back and brings up his bow to fire off another instinctive shot.
Attack 1, PBS: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 4 + 1 = 25
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Confirmation: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 1 = 10
Extra Damage: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (5, 5) + 2 = 12
Boo
GM Fuzzfoot
The rhino tramples the orc threatening Sam, killing it instantly.
Combat is over. But Sara is bleeding out - currently at -8 hp, so she needed to be carried out.
Agrit rubs her eyes, and shouts "Hurry! She needs help." Looking around, she sees the barricade at L1 and points. "Aid station?"
Round 7: (Bold may act)
Malthu
Sam
Yverstrix
Mortoth
Shivarra
Grod
Shivarra
The swing was at me, Sam. Although feel free to yelp by proxy ^_^
"Make way," the witch grunts upon evaluating Sara's condition and sets about staunching the bleeding and immobilizing the damaged limbs. "There. Should be safe to move now, so go haul her to the healers. Shoo."
Drawing her dagger, the witch stalks off to attend to the sleeping orcs before they can wake, looking disturbingly happy as she slits their throats.
I can meet providing first aid DC by taking 10, so that's what I do.

Oh sorry, I misread that
Yverstrix Halfbloodsson
Yverstrix takes a deep breath of the clear air, coughing once, then turns his attention to the beacon. "If she's stable, we should light those without delay.."
Malthu the Redeemed
"Step aside, Iomedae will aid Sara." Malthu calls on healing on the half-orc smith. CLW: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 Bringing her to 0 HP.
As Sara wakes up, still quite injured, Malthu addresses her. "I know you're not in good shape, but at least it's good enough to walk. Kurst ordered civilians to fall back to the Longhouse. We saw some humans turning on Brinya just 'cause she's a half-orc, so I think they're gonna need your leadership to keep order."
GM Fuzzfoot
As you revive Sara, it takes 4 rounds to get her back to behind the barricade.
"Thank you!" exclaims Agrit, clearly relieved that Sara has survived. "Here, please take this. It may help you on this day!"
She gives you a gold necklace set with beautiful white agates and moonstones worth 1,500 gp. A pearl of power (1st level) forms the centerpiece of the necklace.

Having never fired his bow in anger before, at least not against a living, humanoid target, Sam stumbles off on jelly legs, his hands trembling slightly.
Double moved Sam toward L5, L6 and the fires
Malthu the Redeemed
Shivarra is the only prepared caster right?
"Thank you, we'll make good use o' this." Malthu hands off the necklace to Shivarra, knowing she had long sought to be paid for the danger she's taken on. "Turns out helpin' the townies is not so bad, eh?"

Mortoth Spellborn
Sara and Agrit safely on their way back to the Longhouse, Mortoth pushes past the barricade and heads north again, following the main road down the hill.
Double move, recorded on the map.
Yverstrix Halfbloodsson
Yverstrix rushes forward, catching up to Malthu.
Double move, though had to fight to do it on the map via my tablet
