I recently acquired this module, and I was wondering if someone out there would like to be the player in a game where I am basically learning to be a DM?

I ended up with Pathfinder through the Humble Bundle initiative. I am hoping that there are enough new players out there that someone might want a more intimate experience to learn.

Please reply here or PM me if you have an interest.

Thanks.

Adaram

Hey Adaram, I'm up for this. I have played other systems (and some PBP) but never played Pathfinder. I think this would be a great way to get my feet wet. What expectations will you have as far as posting?

Are you specifically looking for new players? If not, I'd be interested. I've been eyeing a few 1-on-1 games but have been hesitant to apply for a potentially unknown length commitment when I don't know what I think of them yet. But if you're just running a module that seems to be only levels 2-4, then that sounds like a perfect situation to try a 1-on-1 out.

No expectations for posting. I am on the forums a few times a day, but my goal is once per day (per game I play). Weekends are flexible - it can completely depend on what's happening with family commitments.

I'll use this campaign for working with you. I am going to start a second one for the second person that posted. I suspect I can do two at a time since it will be basically the same campaign (plus or minus the roleplay aspect).

Does this work for you?

Not specific to new characters at all - I just figured since I was new to trying to DM, I had my best chance of someone being interested. You were the second poster, so what I think I will do is start a 2nd campaign for you (as soon as I hear back that the first person is still interested). Hopefully we'll get something going before the weekend.

Yep that works for me. I'll wait for further instruction on how you would like us to proceed. :)

Works for me as well. The description says it's designed for a rogue levels 2-4 (not sure if that means start level 2 and wind up level 4 or start somewhere in the 2-4 level range), do you have details on how you'd like us to create characters?

I have something I will post up in a bit tonight or tomorrow that will explain all. Anon - I have set up the second campaign for you Here
