The group easily climbs up to the second floor balcony using the now inanimate vines. Though Terry is beyond confused as he opens the shutters only to step into the first floor foyer with the front door now at his back.

The low light of a single lantern reflects off the gleaming wooden floors and dark paneled walls of this foyer. The west wall incorporates an old stone facade that holds tall, stained-glass windows and carved double doors.

The west wall is the stone facade of an old shrine of Desna around which the house is built. The church doors are carved with a motif of warped butterflies fluttering among astrological symbols.

Two tall stained-glass windows each depict spider-butterfly hybrids in a tranquil expanse.

Terry's mouth writes as thoughts and feeling chase themselves across his face, settling in determination mixed with disgust.

"I wasn't so sure we were doing the right thing in coming here, but this has got to be stopped. I suppose sneaking up on them is out of the question after the tussle outside."

Without any attempt at subtlety he attempts to throw open the double doors in front of him and march through.

Grimnir tries to push his way through the set of double doors to the north, only to find them barred from the other side. As the doors jolt the stained glass windows shatter inward with a deafening crash.

The stained glass slowly begins to reassemble itself as it constructs itself into a fresh and new nightmare in the form of a glass beetle. DC 18 Knowledge Arcana

Gerard knows that this is nothing more than a stained glass golem. It is a construct that is immune to all forms of magic that offer spell resistance. The golem is also able to realign it's stained glass plates to reflect spells back at the user. The stained glass panes are well protected against weapons as the golem is resistant to all weapons except those made from adamantine. Gerard also can tell that if the shards of glass were to strike a person they would definitely bleed out from the blow.

With his rapier drawn Terry deftly and precisely sticks it through several panes of glass, sending cracks all throughout. Though the blade doesn't do nearly enough damage. DR

The Glass Golem turns to Terry and Grimnir as it slams into them.

Waiting for the Mirror Image question, as it greatly affects my turn as a healer. Also, bleed damage typically happens at the beginning of the character's turn, so Grinner might have something to do about it before it happens.

Bleed damage does indeed deal the same amount each round and yes it is at teh beginning of that character's turn. As for Mirror Image it would have only lasted 7 minutes. Dealing with the fight outside, setting up for a climb and climbing into the house and investigating this room would have taken nearly that. Though if you guys think or can convince that all of that would of taken less than 7 minutes I am all for returning the MI for this combat.


I deliberately had Terry rush forward and throw open the doors right after the room description, largely so that his spell would still be in effect. Really the only significant time taken was the time to climb to the next floor. If that took more than 5 minutes then Terry is out of luck.

Grimnir turns to kick the northern doors and ends up kicking the bare wall instead. In the brief and short time the double doors have vanished as the room seems to have slightly rearranged itself within the Dream realm. Was it even there to begin with.

A small pack of rats flow out of every crevice in the room as they flee underneath the door to the west. As they make their way under the door, the last rat stands briefly upright, turns to Grimnir with twitching whiskers, and whispers, “Turn back. You want no part of this hell.” It then disappears under the door with his fellows.

There is a door to the east and one to the west.


"I guess we should have expected this. Lt's hope our adversaries can't control these changes. I wonder if we can?"

Terry tries to concentrate on believing that the door reappears.

The group turns to the east at the suggestion of the talking rat.

Fine velvet curtains drape the walls of this richly furnished theater. Four rows of wooden seats fill the room, and a fire-lit lantern projector stands at the rear. The lantern’s bronze latticework frame holds 8 circular glass slides that slowly revolve in front of the lens, projecting horrific images of multi-limbed fiends on a small screen, eerily illuminating the chamber.

DC 20 Knowledge Planes:
The distorted images look like a breed of Asuras. A terrifying picture of two twin, barbed creatures currently projected seem to twist and bend on the slowly fluttering screen.

Out of the flickering and distorted images steps a new breed of horrifying creature. A pair of spiked fiends, interwoven through bodily cavities and impaling limbs, spin in a dance with their twin curved knives.

Several images seem to follow the distorted image as it weaves back and forth. Mirror Image and Blur into effect.

Chairs and such are difficult terrain.

As you step into the room to investigate the door behind you also seems to vanish into the dream realm.

Grimnir steps in front of the others and readies an attack with his weapon should the creature come nearer. Currently at 10' reach.
I also have the Stand Still feat should I hit him (assuming he doesn't have reach).

Actually Terry's init was 4 higher since he would have burned the heightened awareness. I'll remove it from his active conditions since, even though it does not matter, I would have used it. He cast shield from a spell scar when Grimnir kicked the north wall. I'm thinking there is only a round or two left of that, if any. Let me know as it will affect tactics.

Since Grimnir is doing the whole stand still thing, Terry will cast magic missle (CL 5) from his spell scars and step to the side.

Grinner brings misfortune down upon the Asura.

The Asura seems to have far more fortune in its favor that Grinner isn't able to overcome.

Terry sends several missiles down range at the outsider, though it seems to absorb them.

@Grimnir-Stand still isn't an attack but rather a CMB vs CMD check that uses one of you AoO's.

Grimnir stands his ground in the middle of the room and as the creature approaches he gets a solid blow in that seems to dissipate on of the images.
