Said pooch is still bleeding out. Unless Lyklor or Payj stabilize it immediately, it will continue bleeding out. Polo is also currently down.

We're still initiative but that can be relaxed for the moment. Everybody can post actions for as many rounds as you need -- the skeletons aren't opening that door.

Actually, changed my mind. Now that Eclipse got some healing from Zo (putting the wolf at -5/13), we'll drop out of initiative and roll a new one later. I'll assume Payj enlarges Archimedicus right before the door gets re-opened.

Payj, what are you trying to assess with your Knowledge check? Zosimos, who are you targeting with that second CLW tap?

I feel really bad about using people's charges on their CLW wands. I will happily purchase one. I just wasn't thinking when we started the campaign. GMTrex, I am not sure how you want me to handle it. Can I retroactively purchase one and use it now, or shall I rely on the generosity of my kind pathfinders? If this is not the time to make the purchase, I will plan on it for the end of the adventure.

Ordinarily, I wouldn't permit you to make purchases at this point in time, but seeing as the party as a whole doesn't lack for healing and this is really just for equitable consumption of resources, I'll allow a retroactive purchase in this case.

I do not have a wand as this is this characters first scenario so I have to wait til the end to purchase one.

Also when we reopen the door would I still have cleave active as it only lasts for 1 minute?

Yep, you get a pass. =) Your cleave (and Payj's grease) should still be active for another 7 or so rounds, so it will be up if you open the door before then.

Kingmaker Tactical | Strategic | The Marchlands | Campaign Tracking | Liberation Points: 16

Okay, since Zosimos is the only one who can use CLW wands, you guys have a decision to make: either you wait until the ten rounds of healing (so far) have occurred before opening the door, or you open the door midway through healing so that grease and Cleave stay active. either way, the skeletons are as aware of you as you are of them, so nobody's getting a surprise round -- get your ranged weapons ready and hope to beat their initiative.

Sure, that works, you can ready an action for disrupt undead if the skeletons try to move forward or something. Just let me know specifically what that is.

Here goes...

Zosimos: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Polo: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23

Payj enlarges Archimedicus, Archimedicus pushes the button, and the door whirs open. The one on the left is still missing its ribcage and both are still enveloped in a halo of plasmatic fire. The monotony of red steel ends in this octagonal chamber. Red metal looms in the background, but is accented by gleaming chrome panels and tables set against every wall. A round table stands upon a plinth in the center of the room. Bronze and brass levers and dials occupy all these surfaces, along with flat bits of glass, some lit, some dark. Meleren and Shechera give each other a look, but say nothing. Make a diplomacy or CHA check. Others can aid if they wish.

Archimedicus is quickly drawn to the strange gauntlets worn by the shattered skeletons. All four are intact, and each is made up of a bizarre array of wires and pads.

Zosimos heads over to the central plinth. A mass of wheels with letters on them face you, currently spelling nothing but gibberish. An odd see-through image, not unlike the effect of a silent image spell, pops to life as you approach and hovers over the plinth -- and, upon closer inspection, it appears to be a miniaturized version of the area you stand in. (See map.) A lever topped with a glowing amber light is positioned on the right side of the plinth.

Meleren steps into the chamber -- the last of the party -- just as Zosimos pulls the lever. A massive, cacophonous sound of moving gears fills the entire chamber, and the outer ring on the display rotates slightly -- before stopping quite suddenly alongside an enormous crash and the screeching halt of metal on metal.

The entire display begins flashing red, and suddenly the lettered gears whir to life, spinning madly. Just as quickly they stop, delivering a readout in, unexpectedly, Taldane:
