Thanks as always, TS! And same to everyone, this is/was a good time!

Side note: I really do hope I'm not mucking the mission, but I feel that Hal (being CN and all) is more interested in recovery than destruction of the stones. He also likes to prove he's better than the Aspis and can make it home alive.

Side side note: Hal would like to check off a Scarab Sages faction box for exploring a site at least 1000 years old. Does this qualify?

Oh, good point. I'd like to try for one of these three.

1.) Defeat a divine spellcaster whose patron is an evil deity and whose Challenge Rating is at least equal to your character level. BBEG?

2.) Defeat an outsider that has the evil subtype or an undead creature whose Challenge Rating is at least equal to your character level. Succubus?

3.) Accept the surrender of an enemy combatant (other than an evil outsider or undead creature), and ensure his fair treatment until he can be safely released, ransomed, or delivered to authorities for justice. Alternatively, allow an enemy combatant with no means of escape to flee without further harm. That crazy guy in the root prison?

If these fail, I'll fall back on:

4.) Possess a number of ranks in one of the following skills equal to your character level (minimum 4): Diplomacy, Heal, Knowledge (religion), or Sense Motive. Diplomacy

And yes, thank you for running. That was a pretty awesome scenario, and while I was confused a bit in tat last fight, (sorry all about the fireball), I really enjoyed it.

It does indeed! *ding*

Alas, #1 and #2 fall short as the CR for both was 10. :-(

And since poor Lang is dead, #3 doesn't work either.
But #4 does! *ding*

I concur (and apologize) that the last fight was a little chaotic, but it sure was fun. :-)

Primary: The PCs defeat the skum guarding the Drowning Stones. Success!

Secondary: The PCs either close off the temple in Act 5 forever or extract all 1,000 pounds of the stones to return to Osprey. Success for a creative — and rather permanent — solution!

Chronicles for everyone except San Xiao. (I'll make one for him when I get his deets.)

Sorry, I had the double-whammy this weekend of travel and a cold.

San Xiao
PFS # 34572-8
Faction: Sczarni
Day Job: Craft (alchemy): 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (1) + 23 = 24

I never used my shirt reroll, so let's try that again...
Day Job: Craft (alchemy): 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (10) + 26 = 36 = 100 gp

And I'll pay the 50 gp for the Heightened Continual Flame on my buckler. So that's a 6th-level spell, CL 11 light source.

Congrats to San Xiao (a.k.a. RainyDayNinja) for hitting the top 32 in RPG Superstar for the third straight year!

Congrats, San Xiao! Best of luck in the coming round(s).

@ Ignatious: I'm grabbing one and paying full costs.

@ Bishop: I'd love to, but Hal is still two XP off and I'd rather play Boom for a PbP anyway. I'm sure there'll be another opportunity eventually.
