Karu and Karjys move up in the hallway behind Cade.
Cade is taken aback for a moment at the sight of the women but soon enough a smile comes to his face. Ok...did not expect to see her this soon. No more minions? then.
"So-called...that is little harsh..don't you think? Good looking yes but so-called...really? Your taste in company needs some refinement. You should have invested in better companions. Malekankor is in prison for a reason and will remain so. You are of course welcome to try and...slay us..."
Hearing Talia's directions moves Cade into action. The new dagger comes to his hand and he back hands it across the room at the dog creature. The dagger flies true, but doesn't penetrate as far as it should.
"So-called, little halfling, because soon you will be dead, and no one will remember you." Nualia strides forward and swings her falchion at Cade.
Cade is barely able to evade her swing.

Karjys, however, is less sympathetic and moves forward to take Karu's place. The bear has a grudge to settle with the woman and her unnatural dog.
Unable to get in and help the others in the bottleneck that Nualia has cleverly lured the others into, Riori runs, pushing past Talia to try to stop her from going too far.

The hound floats behind Nualia and appears to be awaiting its chance to get at the halfling.

Nualia continues trying to make mincemeat of Cade. "Perhaps I'll leave you on the brink of death, then make a sacrifice of you to the Mother of Monsters."
Fortunately, Cade remains nimble enough to evade her falchion.

Worrying it may be fruitless, Riori tries to snap Talia out of it. Still, she needed to keep her from running away into danger. "Come on, you killed these things before... we need you."

"Desna, I know we're underground, but please, help us!", the dwarf pleads as she channels what favor Desna sends her into Karjys. The bear continues what she likes doing best: chewing on evil.
Seeing that the bear was having a better time at ripping the women apart, Cade decides to be nuisance.
Come now...Mother of Monster and me a sacrifice...I am a little overdressed for such a s+!@ show. You just keep swinging that tube of metal...it might help to clear your stench away.

Cade's defensive display is more effective than his offense, as he keeps her off of him. Nualia then steps back from him...
And the hound swoops in to try and bite him.
Cade fends off that attack as well.

She moves back into the room and pulls out a vial of holy water, and then calls out to her companions:
"How 'bout you lot draw her in here rather than let her pick you off one at a time in a bottleneck?"

With those last words, Cade smiles brightly, salutes his opponent and moves away from the hound. Jumping under and through the legs of the bear, the Halfling runs past the dwarf to reach the others side.
Seeing his master come running back down the hallway, Bellum runs over to stand beside the halfling.

While the halfling can't be sure the hound understood his words, it seemed to get the intent, and, as well as surprise can be read on any non-human creature's face, seems surprised by Cade's attack and lack of fear. Cade's rapier didn't pierce as far as normal, however.

Talia waits where she is for the chance to attack the hound or Nualia.
Karu hears the sounds of Nualia casting a spell.
The hound floats into the hallway and bites at Karjys.
Karjys is able to fend off the hound's attack.
"Back, Karjys!"
Karu backs off and heals Cade with the wand, as Karjys follows her command and does the same. The hound snaps at Karjys as the bear does so.
It's jaws snap at Karjys.

Riori waits for the hound to get closer, readying an action to throw her vial of holy water when it moves at least 20 feet closer. It seems unnatural enough she hopes it might do something.
Cade waits for the enemy to come down the hall at them.
She does not seems to happy to see us...I hope she comes for us instead of fleeing.

Talia continues waiting for the hound to come to them.
The Hound flies down the hall, making a beeline for Karjys, standing at the door. As it does so Riori throws her holy water, hitting the hound and causing its skin to sizzle from the splash of the blessed water. Reaching the doorway, it bites at Karjys.
It goes for Karjys's throat, but the bear is able to avoid a potentially fatal blow. The hound's teeth still sink into Karjys, and it tries to wrestle the bear to the ground, although the bear stays up.
Nualia strides out of the room, some of her previous wounds apparently healed, and calls down the hallway to Karu, "Ah, a dwarf. Well, since I've already promised the halfling as a sacrifice to the Mother of Monsters, I can't do the same with you. Worry not, though. I still won't kill you. I'll keep you alive to feed to Malfeshnekor as a snack."
Nualia's threat of feeding Karu to something as a snack is far more effective than any of Cade's taunts to the fallen Aasimar, as the Dwarf feels a small tickle of fear in the back of her mind.

Rather than throw it immediately, however, she decides to join the taunting game--less because she thinks she will cow the deranged aasimar, but more to keep her talking about Malefeshnekor, to try to understand what this thing is.
"I hope your Malefeshnekor are more effective than your goblins and your associates we killed. You seem to have trouble finding allies who are actually useful, why would you think this silly creature would serve you any better?"

The halfling makes another attempt to stab the dog as it failed to take down the bear.
Remembering the last time she faced on of these hounds Talia makes sure she has her silver dagger in hand when she reaches around the corner to attack.
She has a vicious smile as she takes revenge for its making her run.
Karu stabs with her longspear as Karjys viciously attempts to maul the hound.
The combination proves incredibly effective, as the pair deal several wounds to the hound.

"Silly girl, Malfeshnekor is a servant of the Mother of Monsters, bound here millenia ago. His power is such that all who try to stand before him will be slain. You think you have struck a blow by killing these pawns? There are more goblins in this area than just the Thistletop goblins. I will gather the other tribes, and with Malfeshnekor, burn Sandpoint to the ground," Nualia says, hatred creeping into her voice as she speaks of Sandpoint.

Nualia frowns at Karu's spear, then casts a spell.
The magic envelops the spear and presses in on it, trying to find a weak point to destroy it, but cannot.
Karu and Karjys again attack the hound.
The dwarf and bear team finish off the Hound.

He chuckles to himself and yells down the hallway.
If this Male-flesh-snot thing is so powerful...how comes he has to rely on the likes of you to free him from a prison...and if he is so powerful how comes he is in a prison...sound like someone forgot to read the fine print when they sold their soul for an iron drab.
He pulls for his throwing dagger and...
I doubt you can get a refund...I mean who would give a refund on a heavily used evil villain with delusions of grandeur who think she can cook by way of sacrifices.
After his little speech, Cade looks around the corner and throws his dagger at the women at the end of the hall.
Come now...be a good evil villain and tell us all about your plans for Sandpoint...but could you stand down wind please...unless you wish to call a time out to brush your teeth...at least a breath mint. Please.
Talia repeats her assault on the hound.

Riori steps up, drawing one of her ordinary starknives, and throws it at Nualia.
Karu and Karjys prepare for Nualia to come to them - after all, the doorway is a choke point, and everyone can get at her.

Cade throws his dagger down the hall, but it goes by Nualia before returning to his hand. She chooses not to acknowledge the halfling's words this time - there was nothing left to say.
Talia advances down the hall to attack Nualia with her dagger. She gets past Nualia's guard and scores a slice along Nualia's cheek.
Nualia chuckles and says, "If Bruthazmus yet lived, I'd give your ears to him as a present. Since he does not..."
Nualia sweeps her falchion at Talia, scoring a deep gash in the half-elven rogue's thigh. Her eyes continue to burn with an inner anger.

Talia takes a 5' step to get on Nualia's side and attacks again.
"Silver weapons seem to work!" She calls to the others.

Looking down as the knife reappears in his hand. He flips it in the air to catch it by the blade and once again tosses it down the hallway at the angry women.

Talia attempts to roll past Nualia to get on her side and attack again. However, her footwork is off, and Nualia swings her falchion.
Her falchion cuts into Talia's stomach, and Talia staggers, her vision darkening, as she collapses to the ground.
Karu hesitates, not sure what to do with Talia's body on the ground.
Nualia grins, then says, "One down, five to go."
She then charges forward and strikes at Karjys.
Her falchion gashes the bear.
Karu and Karjys retaliate, now that Nualia is in range.

Cade looks back at the women. The angle makes it hard to strike true and he bobs and weaves until he gets the opening.
He rushes the attack and misses the target badly.
