Ten of them?!? Hopefully they drop a bit easier than the last one... Let's see if we can't even the odds a little. Rasmorn will reach into his spell component pouch and pull out a small bit of fleece. He will extend that hand, and weave a sudden illusion.

Down the hall, just behind the 4th goblin, a stone wall springs up, cutting off the nearest 4 goblins from the rear 6. The wall molds itself around any debris in the room, not leaving any openings at all to crawl through.

Silent Image, DC16 Will save to disbelieve if interacted with. I can see through it, as the caster, but everyone else would need to make the will save to see what's going on.

Added a green rectangle to show the location. Let me know if I got it right.

The sudden appearance of a wall out of thin air throws Laufey. She doesn't know what to make of it. Instead of advancing into the room, she readies an attack against any goblin that approaches.

The goblins recover from their shock at the sudden appearance of more longshanks, especially once a wall suddenly appears in the middle of the room. The goblins on your side of the "wall" have a crazed light in their eyes, and begin singing a familiar song as they look on menacingly.

Rasmorn will concentrate on his wall illusion with barely a thought, as he also hurls a glob of acid toward the nearest goblin. However, the shot completely misses the menacing little creature. The gnome will then take a step back away from the goblins.

Swift action to concentrate on Silent Image (allowed by Effortless Trickery feat)
Standard action to fire Acid Splash at the nearest goblin
Move action to step back a little
Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Edit to add that I can't move myself on the map. Would like to move diagonally southwest by one square.

Talia moves into the room and snaps a shot at the Yellow Goblin.
Crossbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 Here we go again.

GM, I've added colored borders to all the Goblins, makes it easier to choose which target we're going for. Just use the Border color to pick a color, and the Border weight option to make it thick enough to stand out.

Talia moves into the room, firing her crossbow. The bolt goes wide as Rasmorn maintains his illusion and fires a glob of acid. The acid shoots into a furnace, causing a small flare up.

Two goblins on this side of the wall run up to Yasu and Laufey, swinging tongs of molten glass, singing both Heroes of Sandpoint with their tongs (1 fire damage each). The other two hurl bottles of glass at Talia and Isabella. Both miss, with one flying over Isabella's head and the other breaking at Yasu's feet.

The two places where the bottle broke should be treated as having caltrops in them.

Round 1
Yasu attempts to fight off the goblin that struck him as the molten glasss has no effect on him. Laufey retaliates against the goblin and his fiery tongs of glass with a sword stroke that neatly gashes his hand as Isabella steps in with her falchion and clumsily decapitates the rabid monster. The other three goblins seem a bit surprised by this development, and they falter in singing their song.

Round 2 kicks off. Rasmorn, Talia, bring the pain.

Rasmorn continues to concentrate on his wall illusion as sends another glob of acid toward the nearest goblin.

Swift action to concentrate on Silent Image
Standard action to fire Acid Splash at the red goblin
Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

GM, since I can see through my own illusion, can I get an update on what those goblins are doing? Would like to know if they are gathering near the wall, finding another way around, or doing something else.

Rasmorn:

Three goblins have gathered near the wall, arguing about what to do. The other three appear to have run through a door at the other end of the room.

White, orange, and maroon are no longer there. The other three are as adjacent to the wall as possible (there is a table in the way).

"Keep an eye behind us" Rasmorn says quietly. "A few of our friends on the other side of the wall are gone, likely circling around."

Does the door right behind me have a lock? If so, and it isn't currently locked, I'd like to lock it.

Female Half-elf Rogue 3. HP 22/22, AC16, Fort +2, Ref +7, Will +1, +1 Reflex to avoid traps, +2 vs. enchantment spells and effects . Init +7, Perception + 11 (Vs Traps and surprise +12)

Talia mutters a prayer and shoots at the Blue goblin. Sorry Yasu, I don't have Precise shot yet.

Crossbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 3

What do you know, being religious works. :)

I mean, Isabella crit on her first attack with her falchion, so clearly it does.

Rasmorn once again flings a splash of acid that goes wide, but Talia turns to prayer, and her aim is true piercing a goblin through the shoulder and causing him to drop the bottle he was holding. Rasmorn warns that three of the goblins appear to have run out a door on the other side and may be circling around behind them.

Rasmorn, there is a lock. You can use your move action to get to the door this round, then two move actions next round to close and lock the door.

Rolls:

Red Goblin vs Yasu, dogslicer: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Red Goblin confirm?: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 no

Green Goblin vs Isabella, dogslicer, charge: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 + 2 = 22
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4

Blue Goblin vs Talia, shortbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

The death of the first goblins seems to have made the others take you much more seriously. The goblin next to Yasu drops his tongs of molten glass and draws out his dogslicer, swinging a the ranger's midsection. Fortunately, Yasu is able to evade enough of the blow to take only a scratch as opposed to the disembowling blow it could have been. Almost crit, 1 damage Another, seeing his friend fall, charges Isabella, drawing his dogslicer as he does and scoring a strong blow on her arm, seeking vengeance for his fallen friend. 4 damage. The one hit by Talia pulls out a short bow and returns fire, aiming high and going over her head while he curses longshanks and their unnatural height.

No peeking:

Black Goblin Will: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (17) - 1 = 16
Light Blue Goblin Will: 1d20 - 1 + 4 ⇒ (4) - 1 + 4 = 7
Orange Goblin Will: 1d20 - 1 + 4 ⇒ (2) - 1 + 4 = 5

You hear goblin voices shout something on the other side of the wall, and then suddenly another goblin runs through the illusion, holding tongs of molten glass. Seeing his deceased friend he stops, and then gets out his dogslicer.

Goblin:

"Hey, guys, this wall is totally fake!"
"You're drunk, it feels real to me."

Strictly speaking, Yasu, there are 3 goblins within sight of you. Let's take out the light blue one, shall we?

End Round 2. Round 3 actions below.

Rasmorn says to Talia, "Talia, could you step aside? I need to lock that door!" Talia does so and, seeing Laufey now engaged with the goblin she'd been trading fire with, looses her bolt at the one behind it. Her bolt breaks through its shield and into it's shoulder, and the creature sways unsteadily. I redirected your bolt, since you've thus far avoided firing into melee and Laufey's move put her into melee with your original target.

Rasmorn is then able to move and shut the door, locking it as he does so.

GM rolls:

Goblin:

"Wait! It's those Longshanks what stopped the raid! Run for your lives!"

Rasmorn hears the door he just vacated rattle, and then mere seconds later, he hears the second door he just locked rattle and indistinct goblin voices on the other side that quickly fade.
