Among the most majestic of raptors, these predatory birds pluck fish from streams and lakes, drop down on rodents and small mammals in alpine meadows, and have even been known to pull young mountain goats from the assumed safety of their cliffs.

These creatures, like all birds of prey, have powerful clawed talons and sharp, hooked beaks perfect for tearing flesh. Their enhanced eyesight allows them to spot prey from great distances, and they typically hunt in wide circling patterns high above the ground.

Eagles typically build their massive nests in the tops of tall trees or among the rocky crags of steep cliffs. During breeding season, an eagle lays two eggs, but only one chick normally survives, as the stronger of the two usually kills and eats the weaker.

Eagles generally weigh between 8 and 15 pounds, with a wingspan of up to 7 feet, depending on the species.

Sorry for the delay - could I get a question answered? Is the DC 10 Acrobatics check to move however you want across the rafters, or is it just to move along a rafter? For example, I want to move around the grease area of effect, but am not sure if I have to make a single DC 10 acrobatics check to do it, or if I need to make multiple DC 10 acrobatics checks to jump, or something else...

Grand Lodge

The scenario doesn't specify. If you want to move, you need to do that check, be it a 5-foot step or a double move. You don't need to do one per square.

Telka flashes a fierece look at Natalya. Give us the shard!

Sorry for no summon token, posted from my phone last night. For the centipede, there was a poison along with the bite. If it hit, she needed to make a fortitude save DC 13 (poison details above in spoiler)

It looks like difficult terrain all the way to her from where Telka started, so I'm guessing double move. I don't have a weapon out (I put it away to climb), so I don't actually threaten her. Did she look armed (other then with the shard)?

Thanks Jordan, it's much clearer this way.

Telka: good point about difficult terrain, of course Natalya's run is also impeded by it, so I moved both your token and hers a few feet back. Your centipede's bite missed (as suggests the description in my previous post), just like the eagle's second attack (she has AC 21+). As for weapons, she appears to have a light blade and a light crossbow, but neither is drawn at the moment, since she's holding the shard at the moment. By the way, does the centipede last for another round?

The goblin misses Ramenhotep, his blade deflected at the last moment by an invisible forcefield. The elderly priest strikes back, but swings too high and misses.

'Tyieli's feet suddenly feel very light and the half-elf climbs down the ladder with increased speed. Your climb speed is one fourth of your base speed, so the spell is a boon indeed. The ladder is 10 ft. high, so with your spell you manage to climb down easily. I'll just need a climb check, please.

Hralyk is badly burnt by the flames - in fact the pain is sufficient to make him lose his balance and he falls below, landing in a pool to muck and grime. Fortunately, it is enough for the flames to die down, though the pain remains very real.

Zeltyieli continues his race to the door to cut off Natalya's escape, the divine energies boosting his legs as he does...

Acrobatics: 1d20 ⇒ 10

Telka, I understand you prefer wading through the muck and passing through the hole to avoid an AoO? If so, please make a Fort save against disease.

Ramenhotep swings and misses the goblin again. The goblin retaliates, striking with his tiny sword, but also misses.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 131d4 ⇒ 2

As Telka and 'Tyieli move to gain a tactical advantage, Hralyk swings with all his might, but once again his axe misses its mark and only manages to splash some muck everywhere. Natalya's mind is still clouded by Jordan's spell, and she hesitates for a moment too much before acting.

Initiative - round 8 - bold may act
1. Zeltyieli, Jordan
2. Goblin, Natalya
3. Hralyk, Telka, Ramenhotep

Zeltyieli finishes his race around the pool, almost slipping as he turns the corner, only managing to right himself at the last moment by a mix of luck and his connection to the divine.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (8) + 0 = 8 Using my Fearless Zeal for +2 on that.

Standing before Natalya, he tries to strike out with his dagger while she's dodging Hralyk's axeblade.

Dagger: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 + 2 = 14 I assume that misses, based on past actions.

Grand Lodge

Yes, it misses. Her AC was pretty high, from what others could experience before.

Telka contemplates trying to outmaneuver Natalya, taking advantage of her dazed state. She then attempts to aid Hralyk in his assault.

I moved into a flank, not sure if I made a valid move or not

Grand Lodge

Ah yes, it rings a bell. Well, that Fort save leaves no doubt about it now!

As for your move, I think Zel's post indicated that he'd take the flank with Hralyk, though he forgot to move his token on the map. I've moved it now, are both of you okay with where you are?

With a single, clean blow, Hralyk decapitates Natalya, and her body falls on the ground, lifeless. The goblin, struck with terror, is slain trying to flee from the elderly Garundi. Mere moments later, the fire disappears as if it had only been a figment of your imagination all this time.

End combat. Even with NL damage, this goes way beyond what she can sustain.

When everyone's in range..
