Great, 15 gp taken off Salty, and Identify added.
So, can we use his old rolls?
He also tries to identify the other items.
Amulet 1: Spellcraft (-1 Mutagen): 1d20 + 7 - 1 ⇒ (12) + 7 - 1 = 18
Amulet 2: Spellcraft (-1 Mutagen): 1d20 + 7 - 1 ⇒ (18) + 7 - 1 = 24
Masterwork Spear: Spellcraft (-1 Mutagen): 1d20 + 7 - 1 ⇒ (4) + 7 - 1 = 10
Everburning Torch: Spellcraft (-1 Mutagen): 1d20 + 7 - 1 ⇒ (19) + 7 - 1 = 25
He would have an extra +10 on those.
And can he roll for the unknown Potion?Spellcraft Potion (+10 identify): 1d20 + 7 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 7 + 10 = 30

Sorry to hear that, Atrazar. Best of luck to you in your current situation and everything else that life brings.
Grabbed the Amulet of Natural Armour (hope I didn't step on your toes, Arven, I'm trying to maximize Lhinneth's AC so as to compensate her relative lack of HPs). Nice Recruitment Thread we have already going!
Arven "The Shark's Friend"
Salty, is it you who can use my wand of mage armor, if not then with Atrazar gone, so has Arven's defensive strategy. I.e. Cast mage armor before joining into battle....
Just so you know, if we come across a two handed melee weapon, Arven will have first dibs on it, because at some time he may need to do damage like a barbarian, rather than using his cutlass like a pirate.
Lhinneth Silvertide
Such crude, inelegant weapons... Lhinneth wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole ;) also she would barely be able to lift them Also, have you claimed dibs in the loot spreadsheet? There's a +1 spear there, which though far from the best 2-H weapon would still bolster you dmg. a (little) bit...
RE: wands, it might be even worse than that, as Mage Armour isn't included in list of Alchemist's formulae. Our best bet is Serenna's Use Magic Device skill, which in combat would be less than reliable. It's something we might consider when recruiting a new PC, though there aren't many Divine casters with access to Mage Armour...
What do you think of Recruitment by the way? Shall we wait either for Burnscar to finalize his submission or this weekend (whichever comes first) and then make a choice? October 1st is a bit of a long stretch, and both modules and ongoing games tend to have far less applicants than brand new campaigns starting out from scratch, so it's very possible we've already saturated our potential pool of interested people.
Arven "The Shark's Friend"
Serenna it is then ... really need that to get the AC to a more reasonable level, he is too glass like without it.
Will pop over and dibs the spear, though I was really thinking something with a bit more of a belt.
But yeah should really nip into the loot sheet and see what's about.
I quite like the hydro.... whatever that class is too long to write out, but the heal ability does have its drawbacks, therefore I'd like Ria Torrent to join us, but only as an extra player not a replacement. Plus Ria Torrent really wants to play ... which is good....
Other than that I like GM Arkwright's Oracle of the Moon, different and could be fun, plus has a bit more healing like lesser restoration and stuff... always handy ...
So if it's just the 1 replacement, then I'd go with GM Arkwright.

Savage barbarian is a thematically wonderful archetype (it could be argued it is the closest thing to a 'true' barbarian), but it has a big endurance problem, and items such as Bracers of Armour struggle to match regular magical armour cost-for-cost (as they were mainly meant for casters or monks). We either turn him into an HP sponge (perhaps with the help of an HP battery such an Oracle of Life; on a semi-related note I had a Skald who went for the Celestial Totem path coupled with Path of Glory + Greater Skald's Vigour, everyone got fast healing 5 at 4th level and 15 at 10th), or we find him a good booster. For the record, a witch would be able to cast mage armour and still provide some decent healing.
I concur with your choices, I too like GM Arkwright's submission and how it wove Golarion's lore into it.

Treasure and stuff ...
Arven takes the Warhammer, sap, spear +1 ...
....if anyone wants one of these just say, it just means Arven has more options that's all not that he'll use much.
Arven will also take a tanglefoot bag, cos you never know ...
Potions to Salty to look after? is what Arven thinks...
Anything else Arven can carry around to drop at a moments notice.
I think the necklace of fireballs is a nice item, should go to either Lhinneth, Serenna or Salty, whoever is best at ranged attacks ...
Arven will take the chain shirt ....
Lhinneth Silvertide
I also suggest we all take 1 potion of Cure Serious Wounds each, never know when you might need it.
Luckily, failing a UMD roll doesn't waste the charge, so she can try as much as she wants as long as we're out of combat – that is, unless a natural 1 is rolled, which means Arven's stuck with the chain shirt until the next day.

The recruitment thread looks a bit neglected... I was tempted with answering some questions myself, but I felt I was probably overstepping my bounds.
Shall we start to wrap this up?
Lhinneth Silvertide
Suddenly, interest
Lhinneth Silvertide
Yes. It's a tie between him and Jesse Heinig's submission. A merfolk scuttling and/or shapeshifting her way around is an intriguing concept, and would interact nicely with a nautical adventure IMHO. Plus I've interacted with the guy in a couple of recruitment threads, seems a strong roleplayer.
Arven "The Shark's Friend"
Didn't get the lst post I put here ... must have been munched up ...
Like both the Oracle of the Moon and the Druid ... leans towards the oracle, if the guy still wants to join ... cos its been a while..
Mermaid would be fun, love having all these women around, smiles Arven .. but then the oracle is female too ... oh such fun!!!
Elo.
Ah, that one; never actually got to use it in a game. Most of it wasn't really from me; the Cryptic class specifically says 'you see patterns everywhere and manipulate them', the Distorter archetype gives you at-will disguise self. It pretty much writes itself.
Lhinneth Silvertide
Hi and welcome! 20 CHA eh? That's one intense character about to join us!
@Salty: RED should be at 10/34 (Lhinneth probably going to kill it next turn), GREEN (which you can flank with Arven) at 27/34.
Elo.
Yup, 15pb is always very kind to casters.
So, on a logging expedition and a random encounter has descended. GM, when and how should I expect to be introduced?
GM Infinity +1
This is partially up to you, but I was thinking the easiest way would be that you are also recent addition to the crew. You were sent on a separate errand (other than gathering the masthead) and could meet up with everyone once that is finished. So, easiest and probably least interesting.
Depending on what happens after this battle, you could also be out investigating (on your own) the drake's nest that the party may find soon, and could meet up that way. Through some (perhaps forced) RP, you might join forces and later convince the captain to take you on. Harder, little more interesting.
Certainly open to other ideas.
Elo.
Well, looking through the game it seems like we're going for a fairly low-power start. Consequently the zero-fuss I-show-up-in-a-minute-and-say-I-was-assigned-to-the-group-as-they-need-a-fo urth approach seems best. My char doesn't have any particularly 'interesting' motivations beyond out for some treasure. No extra complexity needed.
Lhinneth Silvertide
Yep, on a similar note 15pb is what drove me to try a DEX-based martial build.
As soon as we wrap this encounter up (hopefully next round), we're going back to Lilywhite and rejoin the Magpie's crew (GM Infinity can perhaps speed up any aftermath in order to have you introduced as quickly as possible?). Finding you there having just carried out your errand would be the most seamless introduction IMHO; we signed up after winning a race, perhaps you can come up with your own story of how you impressed Captain Lanteri into hiring you? ;)
GM Infinity +1
Also Elo, I have no idea wtf just happened with crocodile, but was it something like this?
Lhinneth Silvertide
I think what happened is that "d6d" was put in place of a parenthesis, making the RNG roll 12d6 which gave somewhere around the expected value of 36, then rolled that amount of d1's (which did nothing, got 36 ones in return) and the rolled 36 d20s and added the result. Trippy.
