Mirrel finishes off the orc that Spidre wounded!

One orc left for Pietro and Halsere.

Checking that the party is fine, Mirrel heads over to assist the dwarf.

I'll try and get him free of the chains first, if I can (searching the orcs for keys if he seems locked up) and then see what I can do for his wounds.

If I can spend my short rest tending to the other prisoners can they benefit from my song of rest at all?

Pietro checks the other prisoners to see if they're dead or unconscious.

If there are more alive, I'll use Prayer of Healing.

Mirrel runs to examine the dwarf, while the others have a look at the other chained prisoners and Thyra takes a second to badass some of her wounds into submission.

Mirrel instantly recognizes the dwarf's condition: he's been tortured and drained of blood, just like the prisoners you found in the wolves' den all those days ago. The dwarf grabs Mirrel's arm and stares wild-eyed at him, choking out the words "Kill... me... please..."

Meanwhile, Pietro finds himself a bit puzzled as he looks at the other prisoners. They are unnaturally emaciated, to the point that their sickeningly discolored wrists could easily slip out of their shackles. Suddenly, their heads all snap up to look at Pietro as a greenish light fills their eyes. They've been raised as undead creatures!

Pietro first, then the five undead, then the rest of the party. The five undead are lined up along the wall. Pietro is the most in "front", then Mirrel and Thyra who are over by the dwarf, while Spidre and Halsere are a bit further away.
