Tsk! That is no excuse Keskodai, I GMed a game for ConFuSIon yesterday and am also keeping up with this.

What is your opinion on the way I deal with space combat so far? Any recommendations for improving?

So far so good, I'm still getting tight on some of the rules, but it's clear that we simply need to get more people gunning - adding a bonus here or there doesn't seem to be as big a deal as getting more guns blazing.

Yep, still getting used to some of the rules and bonuses, but I like the flow of combat. It might seem slow, but really no worse that PC combat. Things are more interconnected though, so knowing what the captain, engineering, will do is probably a bit more important.

I'm with them, still wrapping my head around the rules, but it's been decent from my observation.

Seems fair. I'm adjusting my PbP Space Combat 2.0 based on my experience here and in my other two tables. Table A took to my initial version like fish to water. Table B, as you're seeing, is struggling.

the action is to target one specific system on a starship. To my understanding what they mean is this:

Round 1: Science officer targets weapon system on red, gunners shoot green.
Round 2: Science officer targets weapon system on blue. Weapon system on red is still targeted. Gunners shoot green.
Round 3: Science officer targets engine system on blue, removing target lock on weapon system on blue. Weapon system on red is still targeted. Gunner finally shoots red, first hit is a crit on 19-20 and will affect weapon system.

In other words: you can't initiate a target lock on two targets at once. I will assume you communicated with the gunners and targeted red.

I will keep these online for approximately 6 months. After that they might suddenly disappear, so make a copy for your own administration.

Alien Archive boons will be done later this week. After that is done I will close the campaign.
