Sense Motive: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23
So that is why he always gives her such a hard time. She probably has no idea, he hides it well. Vauran thinks to himself as the penny finally drops. Perhaps I should speak to him at some point.
"We are making progress, but it is rather dangerous and I would prefer we didn't add more bones to the ruins." Grimburrow says
Jominda Fallenbridge __
"If you'd excuse me, I'll get the light." Jominda tells looking at Kendra and then goes in a straight line to the general store. There she buys two sunrods and a rope. Which is done quickly but she stays there chatting with Marta Avanaki until the Sheriff is gone.
Sheriff Benjan Caeller
"So we get another night we're in danger of something bad to happen?" the Sheriff asks. The dark under eye circles telling what he thinks of having another night watch before him. "I'll go prepare for the night then. Best of luck to you." He lifts his hat and returns to his office.
Kendra Lorrimor _
"I believe we are making some headway, Sheriff. Some important lynchpins of the undead threat have been cleared, to our understanding." Kendra says.
"Once we've finished there, we might be able to help you patrol the streets, see which miscreants are responsible for defiling the monument."
Kendra Lorrimor _
Kendra just stares at Jominda, mouth agape. "Of course, why did I not think of that?"
Kendra Lorrimor _
Kendra laughs. "Let's first find a good place to sit and eat, and we can discuss this a bit further. I would invite you to my place, if you would find that agreeable?"
Kendra Lorrimor _
Kendra leads the group to her house, invites them in, and stalls out the lunch she packed earlier.
"It does feel a bit weird eating a lunch I packed and lugged all over with me, just at home." she jokes.
Kendra Lorrimor _
Some simple bread and cheese, an assortment of sandwiches, cold pies, and a bit of fruit
Kendra smiles warmly. It almost feels as if she has a family again. "I'm glad you enjoy it, Jominda."
Kendra Lorrimor _
"So what do we need there? A long length of rope, perhaps some more light... Anything else?"
Kendra Lorrimor _
"Hah! I think most treasures we find there will be cursed." Kendra answers Jominda. "I'm quite intrigued by your idea that the Splatterman might be the one defiling the monument though... Perhaps we can discover more if we knew what he writes down. I originally thought maybe the Whispering Way might've been the ones defiling it."
Jominda Fallenbridge __
"Then let's go and check it out. It's just a small detour to the memorial." Jominda suggests. She takes the last sandwich as provisions for the journey as she gets up.
"Would you take this rope? It is rather heavy." she asks Jorfa. Then she help Kendra to put the dishes together.

The group takes their equipment, leaves Kendra's house and walks the sort way to the memorial. (O on the map)
Other than the looming ruins of Harrowstone on a nearby hill, Ravengro’s most distinctive landmark is this 25-foot-tall, moss-covered stone statue that overlooks the river. The statue depicts a proud, muscular human man dressed in leathers and wielding a truncheon — a depiction of Warden Lyvar Hawkran.
The text chiseled into the statue’s stone base reads:
In remembrance of the good men that died in the fire at the Harrowstone Prison, 4594 AR
Warden Lyvar Hawkran
James Smith, John Anderson, Robert Clark, Michael Wright, William Mitchell, David Johnson, Richard Thomas, Charles Williams, Joseph Jackson, Thomas Lewis, Christopher Hill, Daniel Roberts, Paul Jones, Mark White, Donald Scott, George Turner, Kenneth Brown, Steven Harris, Edward Walker, Brian Green, Ronald Phillips, Anthony Davis, Kevin Martin, Jason Hall, Gurtis Vorch
Vesorianna Hawkran.
Also the stone base is smeared with blood. It looks like the Sheriff and his deputies gave up on cleaning it. The letters written in blood read VES
Kendra Lorrimor _
"Ves... Vesorianna?" Kendra muses
Jominda Fallenbridge __
"You know, Vesorianna told that the Splatterman is slowly eating away her resolve. That would match your description of what he did while he was alive. Spell out his victims names and then kill them. Maybe he is even better as a ghost and the spelling is enough to kill? At least for other ghosts. I still feel pretty alive and not gnawed at." Jominda spills out her thoughts.
Kendra Lorrimor _
"Very true. At least we got the others off her back. Well, apart from onyxcudgel." Kendra offers.
"Let's head on to Harrowstone. Father Grimburrow, I expect you remember where you saw the presence of the other undead? We should still be careful, they can walk around of course, but I feel that as long as they're not disturbed, they seem to be quite confined to their area of... well, the area which they are haunting."
GM Foxy
The group heads back to the Harrowstone. It is nothing you get used to even with the third visit. That constricting feeling on the chest when approaching and entering the building. Everything is still in place and you can descend into the basement.
The portcullis to the nevermore is down and the winch in the room before it (U10) is heavily damaged and not usable.
So you decide to go to the other room Father Grimburrow detected evil in (U6). This guardroom contains a single large table with two chairs astride it and a single sagging cot pushed up against the eastern wall. Several battered cabinets line the northern wall, with a few arrows and bits of chainmail lying scattered on the floor nearby, yet the most eerie sight are the three fractured skulls sitting on the table next to a heavy hammer. It looks as if someone has arranged the fragments of the skulls in some sort of pattern, as if an attempt had been made to construct a fourth skull from the broken fragments of the trio on the table. The leathery body of a long-dead dwarf, his wiry red hair and beard still strangely vibrant in death, lies slumped on the ground behind the table.
Only one perception roll and then look in all spoilers where you beat the DC
The Mosswater Marauder’s spirit seems to rise up from his bones, appearing as a sobbing dwarf wielding a ghostly hammer. A ghostly skull (identifiable as the skull of a female dwarf with a DC 20 Heal check) floats in the air nearby, its cranium laced with cracks and missing a knife-shaped shard of bone along the side.
The skulls fragment on the table reassemble themselves and take off into the air.

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
ugh... my dice rolls!
"This is Ispin Onyxcudgel." Kendra warns, instantly recognizing everything as having a connection with him. She adresses the ghost. "None of this will get your wife back, Ispin. But with the help of the Father here, we can get you to her instead. Please listen!" she pleads.

Jominda, Jorfa, Kendra, Vauran: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 221d6 ⇒ 3
The sobbing dwarf swoops toward Jominda and attempts to strike her on the head with the hammer. She suffers a horrific headache as if his skull had been struck by a hammer and is staggered by the pain as what appears to be a ghostly fragment of her own skull flies out of her head, attempts to fit into the ghostly skull near the marauder, then fades away into nothingness.
Will save DC 13 to stop the staggered condition
Kendra Lorrimor _
Kendra also noticed the effect, and decides to aim for a skull before she goes for Ispin himself.
Disrupt Undead Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
The loud explosion in confined quarters throws off her aim and she misses generously.
"Jorfa, try telling him what I just said in Dwarven!"
Jominda Fallenbridge __
Jominda is out of bombs and thinks about what to do now. She facepalms herself as she realizes she could have thrown holy water all this time without hurting Jorfa.
Will Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
She searches through her backpack but she can't concentrate due to her headache.
Kendra Lorrimor _
Kendra tries again
Disrupt Undead Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
This time, her ray just hits the skull.
Kendra Lorrimor _
Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Kendra grits her teeth, and decides to keep going for the floating skull.
Disrupt Undead Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20 Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4
And she hits again! The ghostly skull bursts apart in the same shards as were displayed in real on the table.
1d6 ⇒ 3
And again the ghost of Ispin staggers as the skull is destroyed.
