Caine kept moving forward, clapping Rukn on the shoulder. "Our turn. Lets go say hi."

As he moved, he picked up a rock and invoked a prayer for light. The ring he'd kept lit up like a lantern in his hand abruptly transferred to the stone. As they moved down the hallway, he tossed the light-rock ahead of them.

"We know you're there. Make it easy on yourselves and surrender." Caine said loudly.

His pace never slowed as he moved down the hall.

Put me and Rukn wherever it's reasonable to get to before initiative or anything else happens.

Caine and Ruhk begin walking forward as he chucks a glowing rock into the room which illuminates at least four kobolds doing a poor job at trying to hide among the stalagmites! Caine and Ruhk make it to the mouth of the cavern before there is a shout of alarm and the kobolds make ready to attack!

Initiative everyone! Currently you can see the kobolds, but they do have Cover against all ranged attacks.

I'm guessing Caine would have tossed the rock at least halfway into the room. Lighting would be Regular Light in a 20' radius from the center of the room and then Dim Light for 20' radius outside of the initial 20' radius.

@Ruhk, please check the position I put Ruhk at for you to be able to make that attack. Also, just for your information that would either put you attacking through Cover or moving through a space that would grant Blue kobold an Attack of Opportunity. I may not have made it clear that all the rocky formations on the map are stalagmites growing up from the floor and the kobolds are all hiding behind them using them as Cover.

@Everyone, please make sure you are moving your avatars on the map during combat. I can only make guesses at best for the path you wish to take. If you cannot edit the map, let me know and I'll fix that or if its a situation where you cannot ever do that, then please just tell me the square where you can your character.

Ruhk, as you move further into the cavern you several two more kobolds hiding in an alcove. One of them is wearing a well-made suit of studded leather and carrying a very nice pick-axe.

He then ran into the room past Bella to one corner to where he could see several of the Kobolds near the far backs of the room next to different rocky outcroppings. One to the north, the other to the east. He held out a hand toward each.

Round 1 Recap

Ruhk moves in first, seeking to remove any threats with Bethany, but the pillars of the stalagmites seem to impede his progress! Bella raises her crossbow and only after hearing the flat snap of the string does she realize she forgot to load a bolt! Caine strides up and with a mighty swing of his new hammer, crushes the skulls of both kobolds with ease. Meanwhile Zirren sends out two magic missiles streaking through the room, impacting heavily into both of the kobolds near Ruhk, nearly knocking one of them to the ground! Lastly Nathaniel strides in with his halberd and whacks the kobold who appears to be the boss of this group deftly in the torso! Zilka hangs back near the entrance of the tunnels, keeping an eye out for a rear ambush.

The kobolds retaliate, two more into a flanking position around Nathaniel while the leader rushes forward with a what appears to be a very well-made pick! Both the kobold slaves jab at Nathaniel, but his new armor easily deflects their weak attempts; however, the pick-wielding kobold it able to break through Art's' defenses and the sharp point drives hard into his shoulder! The kobold near Ruhk makes a half-hearted attempt to attack while his severely wounded companion limps away further into the tunnels, shouting for help in Draconic!

Seeing that Nathaniel was in trouble, Zirren turned his focus to the trio surrounding his friend.

"Art! Arcaniss nil'gnos!" two more orbs zipped out of his hands striking either of the Kobolds on the sides of the Halfling.

Ruhk begins to move around the rubble to come crotch-to-face with the kobold warrior.
Despite that, he somehow manages to refrain from making any cracks about the kobold facing his "mighty spear" and merely grins before sending Bethany towards it's snout.

Round 2

Belladonna stashes her crossbow and draws out her dagger as she moves towards the melee while Zirren sends two more arcane bolts slamming into the kobolds surrounding Caine. One of the kobolds staggers and drops to knee while his companion suddenly finds a whip wrapped around his ankles and is yanked to its feet. Art continues focusing on the apparently leader of this group as his halberd draws another wicked gash across the shoulder of the kobold! Meanwhile Caine strikes out with his hammer at the nearly felled kobold, but cannot seem to make it stick. Alone, Ruhk also swings Bethany in an attempt to connected, but the kobold ducks beneath the heavy axe!

The pick-wielding kobold swings its pickaxe, but Art nimbly dodges around the clumsy weapon. The kobold on the ground starts to stand, leaving himself open to an attack from Caine which crushes the creature's skull! From behind Caine there is a shriek of fury and loss as the other kobold watches his friend's head get turned into mush. With his last bit of life he jabs out with his spear, puncturing Caine's hip with a minor wound just as the kobold falls lifelessly to the cavern floor. Ruhk's opponent seems to be having as much luck as Ruhk as his attack merely bounces off the rocky cover!

Ruhk, you hear the echoing of the shrieking kobold echoing from the 'northern' tunnel.... followed by several bellows and what sound like war cries in response. You hear another strange, grunting sound as you glance up to see the silhouette of a massive, fanged frog-like creature being ridden by a kobold in mouth of the tunnel!

He'd imagined one of the earth that he'd seen more experienced students call forth but instead a chill took hold at the last moment and instead a more serpentine elemental of frost was conjured instead.

No, that was me we were waiting on mostly. I was reviewing and realized you hadn't posted an attack for that round. Just a remind that you still have an active combatant next to you with Red. I will push us forward, but should you change your mind and want to attack Red that okay. I need everyone to double check their positions on the map to make sure that it is accurate, please and thank you. Also Zirren, can you start posting a link with a shortcut to your conjured creatures or just putting their pertinent information in a spoiler with your posts? Together Caine, Art, and Belladonna bring down the pick-wielding kobold! As Bella's blade sinks deep into the ribs of the creature Artegal's halberd points pierces fully into its torso just as Caine's hammer crushes its head entirely. Zirren conjures up a being from the frozen planes to harry the creature coming from the tunnels, but it's attack do nothing more than keep the creature from moving into the cavern!

From behind that other frog-like creature and arrow suddenly shoots towards the elemental. Not sure if a 16 hits or not, but if so make sure you track the damage Zirren.
