If you mean for Part II, I am a little leery of it (but of course, if the APL shakes out that way, we will have to do it).
If you mean Part III, I am all for it :-)

Hmmm... crunching the numbers, even if Tamerius levels up to 14, we are still APL 13.3 (12+12+12+14+15+15 = 80 / 6 = 13.3).
That said, once Nikolai hits 15th, if Tamerius' levels up, we will be APL 13.8, which rounds to 14...

I do not mind at all playing up, Chun Hei is a tough cookie.
Would have picked a different character to start with but am not going to change now.

Hey, can we have a quick conversation about reading the adventure and meta-gaming.
I haven't read any of these, heck I don't even own copies of them. Can I please ask that those of you who have read them, take a step back from bits of decision making, like where to send the teams to.
I'm guessing there are certain advantages from sending certain groups to certain tasks, but I'd like us to fail or succeed based on our characters' choices, not because somebody has read where people are supposed to go and then make the IC argument for it.
Out of curiosity, who among us has read the scenario, or otherwise plans to do so before we complete it?

My sincere apologies. I pride myself on NOT metagaming, so I feel really embarrassed to have screwed up so egregiously. I've already said it, but I'll reiterate, that I'll step back.
I have read this, and I will have read Part. I won't make another mistake, I promise.

Don't own them yet. Haven't read them. Thorgan's just doing what Thorgan does, which may or may not be optimal.
Regardless, I won't do fully what might make sense in this world, which might be to tell all three teams to wait in Absalom while we singlehandedly check all sites out ourselves. ;)

I assume it makes some sense to send the less experienced teams. You need more experienced teams, and time is always a factor. We can't be everywhere at once - well, at least one of the casters can make simulacra.
Besides, we can always be our own version of bad mod authors for the various teams, and be their deus ex machnia when they screw up royally or can't figure out what to do.

It is in my downloads (I'm a VL, after all), but I have not bothered to download it yet, since I am playing it ;-)

Thanks guys for taking a moment with me to discuss. Especially appreciate the apology, we all make mistakes. (Like the 3rd time I played Fingerprints of the Fiend)
I'm looking forward to the horrible mayhem in our future.
Btw did we ever get our levels/tiers worked out?
PS. giant thanks to Endless Forms for running this and dealing with all our stuffs.

Thanks. The best response to terrorists is to continue to live our life as usual.
Unfortunately we will never be able to stop lonely fanatic.

Sorry, no update today. Long day in the lab and I'll be back there again tomorrow finishing up. I'll try to post tomorrow if I have time but no promises. Thanks for your patience!
| Pirate Rob |
I am back. Mother was taken to the hospital and I spent all day Friday with her, things turned up with the best possible results and she's back home today. She'll still need a bit of extra help so my posting may be a bit slower for the next week or so but you likely won't even notice the difference.

Wind wall is only a two-foot-thick barrier so it is not going to clear the room.
An air elemental will not disperse the fog just by being there, unless it is using some ability that functions like gust of wind that can clear the fog from the room.
Davoliznakamushka
|
What if he shaped the wind wall in a circle around the source, trapping it?
How about an air elementals whirlwind ability?
My first thought was for Tamerius to summon a Bralani Azata (gust of wind at will) but I don't think he can with that whole "opposed alignment" bit.
| EndlessForms |
The circled wind wall might prevent new gas from entering the room but it would still take a minute for the fog already there to disperse naturally.
Whirlwind would probably work to clear it, I would rule, just not a regular ol' air elemental standing in the room though.

Hi guys, I will fly to the US tomorrow.
Don't hesitate to GMPC my character.
I hope to be able to resume my usual posting once arrived.
I will also GM - a lot - at GenCon. My ability to post will be scarce during these four days.

Ilkmakis, I hd volunteered to bring you something, but I can't remember what it was. If nothing else, we should have a drink! I fly out Wednesday morning.
Bon voyage! Je vais vous voir bientôt!

GenCon done ! I'm tired but happy I have even the privilege to GM "Thralls of the Shattered God" for the author himself !
Hope to be able to resume my usual post rate :) but I'm still on vacation far from my home.

Hey everyone, I'm sincerely sorry I've been MIA. My flight home was affected by the Delta outage, and I'm really far behind on real life responsibilities. I'm back now, and will be back to posting. It'll be slowly at first, but by next week, it'll be normal, and the week after it'll be my abnormally fast self. Please bear with me, I promise to be back.
Good to see you in person Ilmakis!

Hey everyone, just a heads up, I'll be completely offline from Thursday night until Sunday night. I'm running 3 legs in a relay race that spans more than 200 miles. We run non-stop, so I won't be in any condition to post or check the boards until after sleeping in on Sunday.
| EndlessForms |
Yes, and I'm obviously having trouble updating right now too. We're in the middle of harvest season so I've been putting in long hours in the field and to top it off the wife is gone this week so, you know, I have to fend for myself.
Bishop Shepherd
|
I totally did this to you at the other table, no worries.
Good luck with the harvest season!
| EndlessForms |
Ok, chronicles have been sent! Let me know if there are any problems.
As I mentioned before, I'll be flying out on Sunday so the earliest I will be able to start Part III is Monday or Tuesday but if I disappear for the week don't be surprised. We're planting our winter field in Florida Monday-Thursday and I'll be flying back on Friday just in time for my family to show up to visit for the weekend. I'd like to get Part III going next week if I have time though.

The crossout lines go too far to the right but it's not anything I can't handle.

Also I purchased the strength gauntlets from the first scenario. After a zillion secnarios I can finally stop casting extended bull strengths.

Hmm, they looked fine on my end. Must have been a messup somewhere in the save-and-load-to-drive process.
Or maybe if you download it and then print it it will look better. Sometimes browsers (or at least drive) doesn't display properly when something has been edited like that.
Chun Hei

That's what I figured at first. Downloading before printing didn't solve the problem though. I printed and filled out it's obvious what the intent is, so no need to fix just thought I'd mention.

@Tamerius: I updated your chronicle with the correct gold.
@Thorgan: Same for me.
