How close are the boats can i step across? The map suggests a gap?
| GM Chyro |
5 ft gap, they are about to grab for a plank.
Wulfren;
Those might be some nice dice, but that will likely be my hand of nice dice for the rest of the mission.
| GM Chyro |
Webbing, as per spell (so i assume natural too), can be burnt away as well, but the webbed person within takes 2d4 fire dmg if done.
| GM Chyro |
I should mention on grappled:
In addition, grappled creatures can take no action that requires two hands to perform.
| GM Chyro |
According to the spell 'Web', the target becomes grappled.

There is a special section on monster universal rules for web and there it says it is entangled.
I don't know what creature is attacking us, but if the web is a natural effect rather than a spell it is probably governed by those rules rather than the spell.
| GM Chyro |
Thanks, i couldn't find it on the d20.
Entangled it is then, gives Sele the ability to use his sword.
Still a nasty condition, but at least he can swing his sword again.

|
Also this part of the web section...
Attempts to escape or burst the webbing gain a +5 bonus if the trapped creature has something to walk on or grab while pulling free. Each 5-foot-square section of web has a number of hit points equal to the Hit Dice of the creature that created it and DR 5/—.
I have the floor to stand on so I get a +5 by that, from Vailis link.

I don't mind delaying Chyro, so you can play green and blue at the same post, and move on to whole party turn.
I think it will help manage the posting rate.
Sele the Thorn
|
My first attempt to escape would have succeeded i mean.
| GM Chyro |
Since the trip is a couple of hours long, that shield spell will not be of much effect Vaisil.
| GM Chyro |
Keera, Fey Foundling trait isn't on your sheet.
Mixing it up with another character?
Sele the Thorn
|
Nah its on mine... she was casting on me and healing on me is at +2 per die
Keera Airbornt
|
Don´t know, but fey foundling seems popular between the paladins. Maybe their parents have parties with driads, and similar, and some months after they find their would-be-paladin baby in the wilds?
| GM Chyro |
I read somewhere a comment that it's taken not for concept or story, even not anywhere in it, but just for convenience.
:)
Sele the Thorn
|
How dare you besmirch me as a pfs munchkin.. look Sele even has a background.. that doesn't mention his snake fey origins at all...
| GM Chyro |
You're good the way you are Sele. ^^
My most odd backgrounded PFS char is a human raised by savage orcs, who likes taking the heads of bosses.
Sadly, worshiping orcish gods is a no-go, else it'd be even more flavorful of dipping a lvl.

What do i have to do to avoid falling in a pit trap? It seems ridiculously hard to avoid for a hole in the ground and we had also apparently avoided lots so we would have been looking out for them. There has to be something that can be done role playing wise otherwise its just roll playing and we just have our bot rogue ahead of us all the time finding traps.
| GM Chyro |
:/ i can agree.
The survival rolls meant you found your way without getting lost, which results in a trap. Those would get easier to spot every time, but yeah, i can understand.
Keera Airbornt
|
Sele, just walk near Keera. As I can cast feather fall at will, everytime you fall and Keera is 30 feet or less I´ll cast it on you.
GM Chyro, this can be had done in his last falling?
| GM Chyro |
You do know that, despite not getting 2 dmg, both of you end up down there, instead of just him if you do that.
| GM Chyro |
Vailis, you closed a fingers of midnight recently didn't you?
I enjoyed running that one, casually looking left and right, i read through yours to see the different approaches.
Sele and Keera went down there too, you should have seen the diplomacy roll Sele dropped onto the witch.
Vailis
|
Yeah, it was a great one. One of my favourites since first time I played it. One of the things I love is that opportunity for different approaches :-)
The diplomacy with the witch is just one of the most genious and unexpected encounters I have seen. I am sure you had fun there.
I plan to open a Core Confirmation for that group. I can let you know if you wish, I always give priority in recruitment to people who has GMed me in the past.
| GM Chyro |
I don't have any core characters of lvl 1. :)
I've played the confirmation twice, with a witch and an alchemist.
I debuffed the minotaur so bad, the GM said he felt sorry for it. ^^

I had better ones. My wife was sick, so in the last minute I have to search a replacement GM.
What about yours?
| GM Chyro |
Ow, yes, getting sick is never a nice thing.
Mine was average, both rain and shine.
Spent the day at my folks' yesterday, my gran came over too.
Had some discussion with someone about what a certain old game would be like in PF.
Edit:
I was also told to read a small news article on the tv.
A woman from the German town of Bottrop was taking a walk and was 'stalked' by a young red squirrel. It kept following her to the point where she was scared and called the police.
The police took the little stalker to the station, where it was given/fed apple and honey-tea, before being taken to animal care.
The little one was in weakened state and was assumed to have followed the woman in search of help.
Vailis

Hahahaha, that's an awesome tale XD
I do not blame the woman, it might have been a terminator squirel.
Here were I live, apart from birds only non-insects, not taking into account humans and rats which have adapted to live along the whole planet, are boars. Police is usually called when neighbours find them stalking around, and a year ago or so, one policeman decided to shot the animal but targeted one of his companions hands instead.
My weekend was a bit more special than usual. Kingmaker session and character creation session for a new Dragonlance Campaign. We went to watch 'La Traviata' at the beach on Saturday night, and yesterday night there was a cinema session at the beach and we got to watch 'Kings of Summer', quite advisable film. Plus it was my sister's birthday celebration and we had special lunch, family time and got to play a while with my nephew whom is just 2 years old.
| GM Chyro |
Keera, you're still poisoned from last round.
A fort roll dc 15 please or you take 1d2 ⇒ 2 Dex dmg.
| GM Chyro |
You're just 1 fight away from completing the mission.
| GM Chyro |
You guys must be really confident, no healing done for Keera and Vaisil.
:)
| GM Chyro |
The mist would work both ways, it'll hinder any sight based attack spells as well.
Vailis
|
Mmmm... I do not remember being injured in the last combats.
| GM Chyro |
I checked just now, that was 7 from the pit-that-didn't-happen.
It's fixed.
Wulfren
|
No wifi at current location and phone dead before.
Thanks for postung for me! Wulfren is pretty easy to bot in combat so long as he has ammo.
Not back to normal posting till tomorrow night. About 30 hours from now.
| GM Chyro |
Ok.
Unless the others finish it quickly, you'll probably shoot down another one, i reckon.
| GM Chyro |
Wulfren, how many bullets do you have left?
| GM Chyro |
The next two planned were Pallid Plague and Among the Living.
Would you guys like to go for the plague first, or go Resident Evil first?
Wulfren
|
Sorry, been having wifi and other internet issues. Wife and I also decided on a short media fast. I will keep checking in. Need to dig out my ITS in the morning regarding ammo.
I have played both of the above and GMed Pallid Plague. As a 4th player, I can replay either for no credit (if it makes the table) or I can GM one.
EDIT: Plenty of ammo. I bought 30 cold iron rounds at the start of my last game, and hadn't even run out of normal bullets yet. I have just 3 paper cartridges at present.
Keera Airbornt

To play I prefer pallid plague. But I wouldn´t mind if you search two replacements for Among the living and I GM that same scenario
