Raia The Technomancer
"Yes, it is good to be a part of this tribe! And it looks like our way down is likely an elevator behind that door?" Raia says making the same sweeping motion.
She then examines the door for how to work the green god.
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 17
GM Bret
The door is obviously locked and has a retinal scanner on the lock. Looks like the same sort of security system the other doors had.
You could use Engineering skill to deactivate the locks, or access the computer to unlock it. I assume someone remembers to use the computer to unlock it.
As you open the doors, a thick plume of steam rolls out. After a moment, the steam evaporates, revealing a marked transition into an entirely different area—a section of an entirely different starship. Where the hangar bay had straight lines and smooth plastic walls, this elevator has exposed cords and wires in varying dark shades such as charcoal and umber.
As you enter the elevator, a singsong voice greets you in an alien tongue. Soft lights wash over a smooth, wet surface at the elevator's southern wall. Scores of holographic glyphs appear in three spiraling patterns foreign to the Pact Worlds.
_Obozaya_
"Touch three hearts, eh." Obozaya recalls the strange comments from Grubhammer which now makes more sense. She studies the 3 spirals of glyphs, looking for heart-shaped patterns on each of them.
GM Bret
When Obozaya enters the sequence, the elevator doors close and it rockets down toward Shantyspire's base.
The lift swiftly decelerates and comes to a smooth stop before the doors suddenly open into a rectangular storage room that shares the same design as the hangar bay above. A mesh grating just beyond the western elevator door overlooks stacked crates below. An adjacent set of stairs descends to the floor. A second set of stairs continues to a separate, stone chamber to the east.
Critzs' Quig
"Ugh I smell like a burnt rug!" he says in the Elevator looking at the others and then coughs.
When the door opens he looks at the others and then out in the darkness."Maybe I should send out Scout?"
Elektra's Navasi
Navasi reloads her tactical pistol and holsters it keeping her tactical dueling sword in hand and at her side as they descend ready for anything. "Maybe not the worst idea Quig."
Critzs' Quig
"Right Okay head out there a bit Scout" Quig says sending the Drone out as far as he can and reading through the comm system what Scout reports.
He sends out the Drone and grips his pistol hoping Scout will find an empty room or at least have decent cover.

Move: Altonus moves out of the elevator as he draws his tactical semi-auto pistol and to the edge of the platform, trying to determine where the shot came from.
If I can see where the shot came from I'll take a shot. Otherwise, I'll use my second action to gain DR from Dark Matter.

Navasi comes out of the elevator and quickly heads down the stairs, drawing her pistol as she does ending up behind the boxes just past Scout's location (double move).
She calls out, "You're outnumbered! Give up!"
Navasi will be ready to use her "Watch Out" ability to help the AC of any of her allies who are attacked between now and her next turn.

Bago... Ah yes, I remember the audio logs. He wants to be 'seperate' from his brother, but he's an Ettin!
Bago! We can help you, if you help us!, then to his team. He's an Ettin, they both control their body equally. We need to try and take them alive. I'm going in.
Altronus continues towards gravitron attunement, and double moves as he draws his solar weapon. I believe I can get to there(see slide), if not please move me as close as I can. Thanks
GM Bret
I am not sure of the exact location you were originally at, but I believe you can easily make it to your current location. You probably could have done that with just a single move.
Altronus informs the group of what they are facing and moves closer to the Ettin.
"How you people know my name?" the Bago head asks in response to Altronus and Raia both having addressed him.
"Maybe because I used it when telling you what to do, stupid!" the Borgor head replies.
"No need to call me names! I was just asking." Bago replies, obviously with hurt feelings.

I don't know if +4 to AC would help Raia, but I said I was going to use my Watch Out power if anyone got hit...
Navasi will call out to her lashunta companion "Raia, hang in there!"
Inspiring Boost (Ex) As a standard action, Navasi can signal an ally who has taken damage since Navasi’s last turn. The ally must be able to see and hear her and be within 30 feet. The ally gains 11 Stamina Points, up to the ally’s normal maximum. Navasi cannot target that ally with this ability again until that ally takes a 10-minute rest to regain Stamina Points.
She'll also call out while moving up diagonally behind Altronus I'm at wor kon my phone so if someone could move me diagonally down and left? thank you!!
"We're friends of Livewire! Please don't make us fight you, Bago!"
Elektra's Navasi
Navasi will also use watch out if anyone else gets shot going forwad
Watch Out (Ex) When a foe makes a ranged attack against an ally within 60 feet of Navasi, she can warn the ally as a reaction. The ally can use a reaction to gain a +4 bonus to AC against that single attack and then falls prone.
GM Bret
1 person marked this as a favorite.
The game mechanics for Watch Out do not work well in PbP.
Doing it in face to face or VTT, you can just ask the person each time if they are willing to take it. It takes under 10 seconds to resolve it, no problem.
If we tried to do that in PbP, it could easily take over a day to resolve.
Since I do not like retconning combat, this is a real problem.
I will repeat what I said before.
Since it uses up the person’s reaction and makes them prone, I will ask that any players who want to use it say they are willing. Quig most likely will be since he has a racial ability that helps him stand. Others may not want to go prone because they would then have to stand,
A ysoki can stand from prone as a swift action.
In this case, I am willing to allow Raia to decide if she wants it. The reason is that I don’t like telling a player they can’t use an ability and it doesn’t require a lot of retconning as she can cast from prone. I do not want to do this again,
EVERYONE please state if you are willing to take a Watch Out. You can even put it in your header when you are willing to take it.
Raia shouts a warning to Raia. She then explains to Bago that the group knows Livewire.
Avarar moved.

Next she'll try to get Borgor's attention on her. "Hey, ugly! Not you Bago you're real sweet keep doing what you're doing. Yea you Borgor!"
Bluff improved feint: 1d20 + 9 + 1d6 ⇒ (9) + 9 + (1) = 19
Improved Feint As a move action, Navasi can attempt a Bluff check against a single opponent (DC = either 10 + her opponent’s total Sense Motive skill bonus or 15 + 1-1/2 × the opponent’s CR, whichever is greater) to cause that opponent to be flat-footed for the next attack she makes against it before the end of her next turn.
Through comms "Make it count Altronus!"
Diversion When Navasi successfully uses Bluff to create a distraction, she can allow an ally to attempt a Stealth check to hide (instead of attempting to hide herself). She can attempt to allow multiple allies to use Stealth to hide, but she takes a –5 penalty to her Bluff check for every ally after the first, and on a failed check, no ally can attempt to hide.
