I'm here, but my life's been crazy since Friday morning on. Popping in today to check everything before I head off to GenCon early tomorrow. I probably won't be checking back in until after, so feel free to bot Um'bala until I get back.

-Still need a confirmation if processed plants (like the rafters) count as a basis for the Entanglement spell.
-Note that Nimt introduced herself as family of Sheila, and not directly as a Pathfinder. Not trying to blow our cover completely.

Question about classe in general:
Is there still any mechanical reason to play a barbarian instead of a bloodrager ? Seems to me the latter is a lot more powerful in exhange for a smaller hit die.

I'm sure you'll get numerous opinions about this, but that's one of the reasons I don't like the ACG. It's nice to have more options, but they shouldn't overshadow the base classes. And don't get me started on the swashbuckler.

Now you've piqued my intereest, so I'm going to ask anyway. (I do think that the fighter and Barbarian needed an "upgrade"-and they got it in this
form).
Maybe you'll also excuse for thinking that a swashbuclker with a polearm would be interesting.

Sorry about kicking ya like that, Krupt.
Just wondering if Nimt was able to provide flanking with that AoO there.
No need to apologize, Dragoncat. It's all about telling an interesting story, which I think we have done here. That's the whole reason I do PbP, to have the time to tell more complicated, nuanced stories than one normally would when playing a RL game.

Wanted to give you all a slight update. I am CRAZY busy with this Kickstarter stuff. It is paying off as we are 550% funded but it is eating up almost all my time. On top of this our other side of the company (which I directly head up) is launching another Kickstarter next month that I am prepping when I am not doing work on the currently running Kickstarter. As such my normal, usually daily posting rate has been knocked down to closer to once or twice a week.
I am still very interested in continuing this campaign but I wanted to check interest with the rest of you. I don't see my time freeing up again until close to December through about Feb or March and then convention session stats up which will take away a lot of my time once again.

Thanks for letting us know, Dak. I'm still willing to take over, as I enjoy our interactions, if that is what the group decides (and you are willing).
And congrats on the successful Kickstarter!

Dak, I think running this AND your company will be too stressful for you. And we don't want that. So at the moment I'm leaning towards letting Krupt take over. I'd hate to lose him as a party member, but that's how it is.

I'd actually be okay with continuing to play Krupt as a DMPC if that is okay with folks if we keep on going. I've found having a DMPC around can be fun in a PbP setting, because I can help move the storyline forward and of course I wouldn't want to deprive you of Krupt's charming personality. If I did take over, I'd leave that decision up to you.
On a side note, I would also prefer it if everyone could commit to posting at least once a day to pick up the pace and make sure that everyone is still on board. Once we have this "train" humming along nicely again, we could back off if we wanted.

I would be fine with Krupt taking over for GM. If krupt does take over for GM then I would also be fine with Krupt being run as a GMNPC since I think it would be unfair to make him give up his character and in PBP it is much easier to keep out of character knowledge separate from in character knowledge.

OK, since we seem to be in agreement, I will plan on taking over. Having said that, I'm in the middle of a move to a new house this week, so I won't be able to fully take over until after next weekend. That should give me enough time to read the adventure.
So shall we say official turnover on Oct 13th?

Good luck with the move. I'd help you, but I'm not exactly living in your neighbourhood ;)
No, you are definitely not. I had forgotten you live in the Netherlands. I grew up in Austria and we had friends in Scheveningen, which is not too far from you, I believe.
