Hey, I've got a question for everyone. While Dak is so busy at work and with the Kickstarter, how would people (especially Dak!) feel if I took over GMing for a few weeks until his schedule dies down a bit?

I own the AP, although I haven't read it. I'd have to ruin the first book a bit for myself, of course, but I'd be happy to make that sacrifice.

I don't mean to step on Dak's toes, and this change would only be temporary. I've been enjoying this game and want to see it prosper!

Yes shopping would be a bit of an issue. Even with the trip to the Avensoar it is only around 2 AM so not a lot open. Additionally, keep in mind that after about 16 hours without rest you will become fatigued. 24 hours exhausted.

Krupt will buy a bandolier and a vial of alchemist's fire before the group meets at the Pathfinder lodge the following morning. Should we be spending money on food and housing?

I think our fighter could use the CMW potion, and our other front liners the CLW potions. The silver dagger, Ring of Feather Fall and Potion of Invisibility are all useful, but I'm not really hankering for any of them. If someone else wants them, go for it!

Our rogue gets the most use out of thr potion, I think. The dagger is best for a frontliner. I agree with Um'bala as far as the rest is concerned.

The invisibility potion? Certainly. And I suppose Petronicus would make the most of that dagger.

I calculate the sold loot totalling 427.5 gp (half price for items, full price for gems). Divided by five, that means that each of us gets 85.5 gp.

Works for me. I'm going to pick up some scrolls - two burning hands and one comprehend languages, all at CL 1 (cost: 75gp). If I've got an hour, I'll scribe one of the burning hands and into my book (cost: 10 gp).

I hate to sound like a broken record, but we haven't heard from Dak in four days (Tuesday) and there was no warning that he would be busy again. I'm concerned, because I really like this game and I feel that what little steam we have is quickly dissipating, at least on my end. We really haven't had a continuously active GM since early March by my estimation, and that's a long time.

To see if Dak was posting anywhere else, I checked his other aliases, and found that no, he's absent from them as well. I also discovered that he has five other PbP games going here, and not simple, little PFS games, but full-on APs or modules. That to me is amazing, because when I have a reasonable amount of free time, I can only manage to keep one game going as a GM.

I am not stating this because I am upset or think badly of Dak, but at this point I think it's fair for us to decide if we want a change. Dak, would you be interested in cutting us loose? It seems that the players are still interested in playing, and as I have already stated in this thread, I would be willing to take over GMing. Is this something everyone else would be interested in?

I don't want this to feel like a mutiny, but I do feel that a GM has certain responsibilities to keep a PbP game going, and posting at least once a day or letting the players know when that's impossible is one of them.

I'd be interested. In that case, I wouldn't mind keeping Krupt on board as a DMPC.
