The Pathfinders recoil, ready for another onslaught, but the morlocks leap on the remaining enemy morlocks and start flanking the remaining xenarth with Grimnir, drawing its attention long enough for the dwarf to deliver three quick blows to the beast, felling it.

Mathais, with the aid of his new morlock friends, cuts down three of their enemies with long sweeps from his longsword.

Maaarv feels the poison starting to affect him as well as his wellness begins to be compromised.

He tosses a bomb to immolate the last morlocks.

The direct hit on the blackened morlock incinerates him into a pile of ash as the splash sends another into unconsciousness.

Even without the morlock aid, you cleaned that up pretty nicely, I'd say, Grimnir. I mean you do like 120+ points of damage a round if you don't roll terribly.

Grimnir drops his rage and quickly pulls a scroll of delay poison. He then uses it on Alie to give her some relief from the posion.. "The posion's effects will run its course when the spell ends, but until then you shall not be harmed by it. Here, take these as well.." He hands her 3 potions. Two as lesser restos and the third is a antitoxen, so that she has a better chance of surviving when the spell runs off..

Feel free to repay me on the things you use. Dont worry about the scorll though..

Afterwards he starts to heal himself, keeping his guard up as he does so.

Actually, I think Delay Poison would render her immune for the rest of the poison's duration, thus ending the poison's effects entirely. She would retain the 8 Con Damage. Now about Maaarv...

Neg, it only makes her temp immune. Any poison suffered at the time of casting or any thats came into contact with for the next 3 hours will do nothing until the spells wears off. She then suffers the effects. I was kinda hoping the Alchemist had an antitoxen to help him make the save. I have another though if he doesn't


Wow. That is an interesting interpretation of those words, but everyone seems to be in agreement on it on the forums. Guess that makes sense for a level two spell.

Complete Posion Imuunity would be insane for a 2nd level spell, esp considering its duration of 1hr/lv. You dont have to roll again for 3 hours Alie and at that time drink the antitoxen for a +5 bonus. although if BS is feeling nice that 18+5 might actually make it.

Scrolls are cheaper to pay back than pots.. I perfer pots for the standard action use though instead of 3 round cast time. Prob should get a 3 cast scroll at some point though.

After traveling for what seems like a mile or more over the shattered remains of Rachikan, you and Bogipfen arrive about 100 feet away from an intact, rectangular building that rises above the neighboring, ruined structures. It’s a three-story building, but now only its top-most level remains above ground.

Bogipfen motions for silence and quietly explains, “Cage is inside. Karn inside cage. Lots of bad people. Wings and blades. Bad people.”

He then reaches into his pack and pulls out another bottle of ichor - this one is his mutagen. He grimaces after quaffing the whole thing, "Blech... I gotta tweak that coconut flavor..."

Grimnir believes that Bogipfen is speaking of Incubus demons. They take great pleasure in torturing victims are only affected by cold iron or good weapons.

The building’s interior is dark and contains two rooms. The western room acts as an antechamber for a larger room to the east. The eastern room is filled with four cages, torture implements, and a heavy grate that seals the pit below. The incubus demons that live here have put agony on exhibit in the form of several lifeless figures contorted in impossible shapes and nailed to the wall as works of art, their shattered bodies splayed open in perverse displays of vivisection. Armor still clinging to the corpses marks the deceased as Hellknights.

As you boldly stride into the room, the three of the winged demon leap to their feet, implements of death and destruction in their hands, while the other three seem to be enjoying torturing various hanging individuals in the room, approximately 20' off the ground.
