Jirin Tupel
Round 2
Jirin casts Heroism on Kelkzar.
"Kelkzar, I've cast a powerful spell to aid you in taking this beast down!"
Rowena Lordail
Scratch that, too! She has super movement.
Since I used the shuriken roll for the Reflex save, I'll use the Reflex save for a climb check!! :)
A 16 will hopefully help her climb up the corner of the pit. She makes it 35 feet up.
Quintus of Taldor
Spellcraft check: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26
Sarenrae, hear me, I beseech You...grant Your servant and allies grace to persevere in the great cause. The priest smiles as he extends a hand in blessing over the party. Counter this! Burning a Hero Point to recall prayer. "The Goddess comes to our aid! Strength to our hands, and weakness to our foes!"
Rauno Redpath
Round 2
Spellcraft 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (4) + 18 = 22
Since his allies are still close enough, Rauno unleashes a blazing inferno on their two foes.
Fireball, centered on the intersection of AJ/AK 20/21.
Damage 8d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 6, 4, 4, 2, 1, 1) = 26 Reflex save DC 20 for half damage.
Mage Armor, Prayer, Stoneskin (27/70 remaining), Prescience 4/9 remaining
Trevor the Yellow
5-foot step. Sorry.
Kelkzar Redjaw
Kelkzar will delay to allow Jirin, Quintus, and Rauno's spells to take effect, then casts expeditious retreat and with a deafening roar, he pulls out his longspear and rushes toward the raised dais. After a ten-foot head start, parallel to where he saw the pit swallow Rowena, he leaps, hoping to clear any other pits in the way.
Free Action: Rage.
Standard Action: Cast expeditious retreat
Move Action: Move 10' then Acrobatics 1d20 ⇒ 11
Swift Action: Declare Judgement of Sacred Justice (+2 Attacks)
Looking to leave the ground in AI14 and land in AI17. If he doesn't run into a trap, he'll have 5 feet of movement left, but since the stair probably requires 10, he'd probably be left in AI17. If he can get to AI18, move him there.
Variables: AC 17 (unless any allies move next to him), HP 96/96
GM Blood
Kelkzar, so you have -7 to jump normally, but then add +12 from expeditious retreat and +2 from heroism so it is a +7 so your jump check was 18 which makes it over the pit. (FYI Your judgement, the prayer spell, and heroism all stack!)
Rowena, you must make 1 more climb check as you moved 15ish up last round so one climb move doesn't quite make it all the way up. If you make it you will be behind Kelkzar, if get 11-14 you will stay in place, 10 or lower you fall
Quintus Remember that your prayer affects allies and enemies with 40' from you. (Covers your allies, but not yet the enemies
Trevor smites and enhances his weapon vs evil. Jirin casts a spell increasing Kelkzar's morale in battle. Quintus brings divine favor upon his allies with a spell, while Rauno sends a ball of flame at your enemies. Kelkzar moves forward, jumping over a section of floor he deduces is trapped which he clears easily due to the spell he cast, however, as he makes it to the stairs, a spear shoots out of the ceiling, stabbing him. Kelkzar, 10 Damage plus Fort save or be poisoned
Will Save Eligos/Hawk faced man: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
Will Save Pollard: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Attack Roll Spear Trap vs Kelkzar: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (10) + 20 = 30
Damage: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 +Fort save DC 14 vs Poison or take the below con damage
Con Damage from Failed Save: 1d2 ⇒ 1
Rauno's spell burns Pollard badly, but does not leave a mark on Eligos/Hawk Faced Man.
Eligos/Hawk faced man casts a spell that affects Kelkzar, Rowena, and Trevor. I need a Will Save from each of you, DC 17
01–25 Act normally
26–50 Do nothing but babble incoherently
51–75 Deal 1d8 points of damage + Str modifier to self with item in hand
76–100 Attack nearest creature (for this purpose, a familiar counts as part of the subject's self)
Pollard takes a step over to Kelkzar to block the stairs and attacks him with his longsword but does not seriously threaten him.
Lonsword vs Kelkzar: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
GM Blood
Rowena, Make a climb check first, then Will Save for the spell. If you fall you are not affected by the spell, if you succeed or fail by less than 4 then you are affected.
Kelkzar make a Fort Save for poison first, then your Will Save
Trevor just need a Will Save from you
Round 3
Initiative Order - Jirin, Kelkzar, Quintus, Trevor, Rauno, Rowena, Eligos, Pollard
Eligos/Hawk Faced man AC T FF CMD
Pollard AC T FF CMD

Round 3
Prescience 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (1) + 0 = 1
Spellcraft 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (5) + 18 = 23 "He's using a powerful spell to try and confuse us, perhaps turn us against each other!"
Concerned with the power of their latest foes, Rauno draws on his limited ability to glimpse the future and allows the magic to utter a prediction through him. "We will be victorious, but it will be hard fought." As he speaks, he strides forward.
Move to AH14. Standard action to start Foretell ability.
Foretell: In a 30' radius from Rauno, all allies gain a +2 luck bonus on ability checks, attack rolls, caster level checks, saving throws and skill checks.
Mage Armor, Prayer, Stoneskin (27/70 remaining), Prescience 4/10 remaining, Foretell 7/8 remaining
Kelkzar Redjaw
Fort save for poison 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29
Will save for confusion 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17
With battle hymns of Ragathiel singing through his blood, Kelkzar fights off both the poison and Pollard's attempted spell, though the latter nearly snares him. Dropping his longspear to the floor, Kelkzar whips out his falchion and begins a brutal assault on the elven man.
Continues raging (Round 2/8)
Continue judgement of sacred justice
Swift action to activate bane (humanoid-elves) Round 1/8

Damage 1d4 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14
Intimidate check to demoralize (Cornugan Smash) 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (11) + 23 = 34
Trevor the Yellow
Will Save (+2 vs compulsion, immune to charm): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
Trevor shrugs the effects off. Not sure whether he should trust the floor, he calls on Iomedae's fury and yells as he moves instead to jump over the pit.
"YyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"
Move sideways, then diagonal, then across for AL17, burn a hero point for +8
Acrobatics DC 10: 1d20 + 2 - 5 + 1 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 2 - 5 + 1 + 8 = 26
His jump is spectacular! And he easily clears the gap, drawing his javelin and launching it at the fake Eligos in mid-air!
Javelin with PBS, prayer and smite: 1d20 + 11 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 11 + 1 + 4 = 191d6 + 6 + 1 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 1 + 8 = 16
Rowena Lordail
Right. In that case, I'll spend a second hero point to add a +4 bonus after the roll.
Confusion on Rowena would be deadly for the group. If you'd like to say it takes Rowena a round to clear her head, losing this round's action, that would make sense.
Trevor the Yellow
Forgot Vital Strike: 1d6 ⇒ 6
GM Blood
Kelkzar lays a couple of heavy blows down upon Pollard, but as he falls his body turns into a grey doppelganger. Trevor makes an amazing leap over the pit and chucks his javelin, but it goes wide of the mark.
Rowena appears to be affected by the confusion spell but shakes it off, clearheaded. I don't have an issue with you still having your turn, that is what they are there for. Remember you can only have a max of three at any 1 time so that leaves you with 1 max, 1 short of being able to avoid a death blow. Critical with a scythe, here it comes!
Trevor the Yellow
Are the stairs in front of Trevor going up or down?
Quintus of Taldor
Round 3:
Quintus stows his shield and dashes for the east end of the chamber, leaping from next to Rauno and landing next to Rowena.
DC 10 Acrobatics check to jump from AH-14 to AH-17, incl. ACP and prayer: 1d20 + 2 - 4 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 2 - 4 + 1 = 17
That puts me within 40' of the bad guy.
Rowena Lordail
Rowena makes her way to AL19, and reaches for the wizard.
Ki throw: 1d20 + 17 + 1 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 17 + 1 + 2 + 1 = 41
Vicious stomp, stunning stomp: 1d20 + 14 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 14 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 2 = 39
Damage: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 1 = 6 Fort DC 17
Enraged, Rowena picks up the wizard and hurls him into AL18, between herself and Trevor, then brings her foot down on his head.
Jirin Tupel
Round 3
Jirin, seeing that the Eligos-thing is a magic-user, uses her own experience with her friends to deduce that it likely has its own magical aids and wards. Using a powerful spell she'd only ever used once before, she casts it on Eligos-thing and hopes for the best.
Dispel Magic on Eligos-thing to end one of his "buff" spells. Dispel Check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
GM Blood
Jirin casts dispel magic and manages to dispel one of his spells I believe it dispels the highest level spell unless you specifically target one
Rowena comes down the stairs tripping the wizard and kicking him on the way down.
Fort Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Laying on the ground, the wizard casts another spell defensively and disappears and reappear behind Jirin. Then the old human wizard's form changes into the form of a large hulking half-orc. He roars in anger before pulling out an axe.
Cast Defensively: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28 DC 23
Trevor the Yellow
"Mmmmh... That's annoying..."
Trevor doubles back, but goes around the pit. It takes longer, but he feels it's safer.
Double-move to AL-13.
Rauno Redpath
Round 4
Seeing the caster resorting to melee, Rauno attends to his own defenses with a quick spell and closes with his allies.
Move to AK14, cast Mirror Image, 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 images. He continues the Foretell effect.
Foretell: In a 30' radius from Rauno, all allies gain a +2 luck bonus on ability checks, attack rolls, caster level checks, saving throws and skill checks.
Mage Armor, Prayer, Stoneskin (27/70 remaining), Prescience 4/10 remaining, Foretell 6/8 remaining, Mirror Image 4 remaining.
Kelkzar Redjaw
Kelkzar glares at Eligos and begins casting a spell.
Begins casting silence. Full round to cast. If I can five foot step to AI17, I'll do that too, but because of the stairs, I don't expect to be able to do that.
Rowena Lordail
Rowena moves up to AH11 and swipes her foot at Eligos.
Trip: 1d20 + 17 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 17 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 38
Stunning Vicious stomp: 1d20 + 14 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 14 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 30
Damage: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 = 7 Fort save DC 17 or stunned
If needed, AoO if Eligos stands.
Attack: 1d20 + 14 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 14 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 30
Damage: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 1 = 8
GM Blood
Rowena sets off a trap going up the stairs and then gets attacked as she approaches Eligos/Half-Orc
Trap: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (2) + 20 = 22 *Hit, Fort save needed*
Damage: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12 + Fort Save DC 14 if hit or take
Con Damage Round 1: 1d2 ⇒ 1
Eligos/Half Orc Attack with greataxe: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (20) + 16 = 36 *Hit, not confirmed*
Damage: 1d12 + 10 + 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 10 + (4) + (3) = 21
Confirm Critical: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (2) + 16 = 18
Extra Damage: 2d12 + 20 ⇒ (4, 9) + 20 = 33
Rowena makes it to him due to her magically enhanced speed and manages to trip and stomp him, but her stun attack does not work. She hits him again on the way up before taking a blow from his great axe again. He seems to slip out of his rage and back again.
Fort Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Eligos/Half Orc Attack with greataxe: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (19) + 16 = 35 *Hit*
Damage: 1d12 + 10 + 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + 10 + (1) + (1) = 13
Rowena 36 total damage, 5 being cold damage and 4 Acid plus potential poison ability damage
Rowena Lordail
If Eligos had a readied attack for when she approached, how'd he get another before the rest of the party went? Also, how'd he ready an attack after using a spell and draw a weapon? Is he large-size? Not complaining, just confused.
Fort save: 1d20 + 10 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 10 + 2 + 1 = 14
Trevor the Yellow
Trevor moves behind Rowena and touches her, channeling healing energy to her.
Move to AH12, LoH on Rowena
LoH on Rowena: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 5, 6) = 20
