In completely unrelated news, I just got my hands on Healer's Handbook and Good Gods there's at least one feat that Kayal desperately needs:
Your Healing Spells exacerbate rather than alleviate pain.
Prerequisite: Evil alignment
Whenever you use a spell to restore hit points to a living creature, you can cause that creature to be wracked with waves of searing pain. If you do, the spell gains the evil and pain (Pathfinder RPG Ultimate Magic 251) descriptors. The target takes nonlethal damage equal to the number of hit points restored. If the target fails its saving throw or chooses not to attempt one against your healing spell, it takes a –2 penalty on saving throws and skill checks for 10 minutes per caster level. If the spell does not normally allow a saving throw, it instead allows a Fortitude saving throw to negate this penalty (but not the nonlethal damage dealt).

Seriously though, these people's thought processes--"we just resigned, thus shedding any institutional protection we might have had, then attacked without provocation the people who (legally) fired our boss!"

Rurisa's also Lawful Evil, but at this point these guys are just bandits to her mind, mindlessly lashing out. So she'll go all-out and if any of them survive she'll haul their half-dead selves to Razelgro or whoever. But she won't make any real effort to take them alive either.

I believe we're all sorts of flavours of Lawful Evil in here, which is nice. Like ice cream. Ice cream flavoured with tempered rage, apathy, megalomania, a few pinches of sadism...
More seriously Kayal's...not really thinking that far ahead. He may be too busy spitting blood from his gums for a while. I stand by the general consensus that an example needs to be made though. Whatever the motivation, it's still a blatant disregard for Fex's authority. Can't be having that.
Penance may be too busy being excited that something is finally bleeding. Who knows.
Vokrin is a coward at heart. He wants to prevent others from taking the idea to heart that it's a good idea to ambush the group. He's sort of squishy compared to most of you.

So I was perusing my copy of Bestiary 4 for a Darklands-oriented campaign I'll be GMing soon, and came across the "Devilbound Creature" template, whereby a mortal willingly signs their soul over to a specific devil in exchange for a pretty impressive suite of special abilities (and CR +1).
@GM, while Rurisa isn't (yet) in a place where she has the knowledge, leverage, or boldness to make such a pact, would this be something our characters could do in the future? Maybe signing her soul over to the Hellrazor Company's "bound" horned devil patron? Just a thought for the distant future.
If I'm remembering the future right there is definitely an opportunity to do so, I'll just have to look for it again.
