Ryster takes the time to clear his musket, wiping it down lovingly with his ubiquitous oily rag. He pulls his wand again and hand it to Chorister. I think you oughta just hang on to this.. After getting his wounds mended, he helps the others search the the corpses.

Tapping his fearsome hammer against the wall to shake the gore loose, Rhyno looks to his companions, "Guess south be the way ta go. Alexis, will ye be OK? I picked up one'a those wands Ryster has too, so we can share uses if'n you want."


The fallen cleric has a well-made flail at his hip and a few assorted coins in his purse.

The crates in this chamber are filled with assorted supplies just like the ones found in the shipyard warehouse three months ago.

    Oh come on! Saying Burr wrong in character conversation is one thing, but purposely misspelling Burr with descriptive text is a low blow. :)

    Chorister collects the wands from Ryster and Sen, distributing healing as it's needed. "I uhh... wish there were rabbits down that hole! As it is I'm expecting more rat-lovers and spiders! And the smell... yeagh!"
    The cleric lifts his kerchief back up to his nose as they head back to the access point to the lower level.

    Sen first responds to the cleric. "Oh, I doubt we have. I mean, this Jet Black Rat thing makes animals big, right?" Sen calmly discusses. "If we are going to find it, you'd think we'd have found, like, a massive crocodile or something."

    He then responds to the order inquiry. "I'll go down, but I'd like to note that my usual skulking involves me being able to hide, which is kinda rough when you have to carry a torch around with 'ya just to see..."

    Opening the hatch in the previously trapped room reveals a long sturdy ladder that descends into the dark below.

    Climbing down the ladder reveals an abandoned city built into an enormous cavern. The tall buildings are separated by high tunnels, 20 to 30 feet tall in places, whose roofs are the foundations of the sewers and buildings above. The streets are dirty and dusty, and most of the buildings look as if they are abandoned.

    The abandoned buildings have boarded-up windows, signs hung in front announcing “Butcher Shop” or “Tavern,” and are full of spiderwebs, dust, and broken furniture. Many of the buildings have cages anchors to their exterior walls, full of Cassomiri citizens. Here and there are familiar crates full of supplies such as those seen at the shipyard warehouse and in the storeroom above.

    As the party reaches the bottom of the long ladder, movement can be seen at the edges of the lit area and three more tiny misshapen figures accompanied by two enormous rats the size of large dogs come into view.

    ”Intruders!” they chirp.

    Rhyno moves in on the middle figure M2 bellowing has he goes. His hammer whirling, he brings it in low and uses the full strength of his legs to bring the head up into the figures jaw.

    If Sen has a clear path and is within 10 of a creature, he's gonna Shuriken Super Spam for 1 ki point at whatever's in range, preferably a humanoid but a rat will do. If its multiple rats, he'll spread them around if the first one or two put down the original. Otherwise, he'll just move (drawing his katana) and chuck at one humanoid with no ki expendature.

    EDIT: Ah, I see the map's gone up since my post-building. Just one attack at the rat, moving within 10 feet (drawing katana) and a 16 to hit flat-footed for 7 piercing damage.


    Rhyno’s hammer makes a gory mess of his victim sending a visible shock of terror through the other defenders. The mite targeted by Ryster has little time to process this fear as the dwarf’s musket bursts his lumpy head like a melon.

    Sen’s shuriken inflicts a nasty wound on the southern rat but the giant vermin still stands and growls in defiance.

    Alexia’s hair slam finishes what Sen’s shuriken started, flattening the rat with a sickening crunch.

    Chorister’s bolt slams into his target but the rat doesn’t go down.

    A sudden wave of darkness fills the area stifling the party’s light sources. It’s now dim lightning. The darkness is followed by a clap of thunder that slams into the party (everyone minus Ryster).

    Choristers hand claps to his bleeding throat where the bolt grazed him, That was close! he thinks to himself, even as the blood runs through his fingers. He takes a step to the south, away from the mite, and touches Rhino's back, letting the healing power of his faith flow into the large man.
