Where do you go from here?
Liberte'
Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
As all hell breaks loose, Liberte' reaches for a bottle on top of the bar. Someone's body slams into the bar a few feet down. The jolt causes the bottle to fall on it's side. It begins to roll away from him down the bars length. Liberte' slides in and out of the commotion with rapped attention focused on the rolling bottle. He extends his hand underneath the bars edge, and the bottle rolls off and into his grasping hand.
A couple in a violent dance move past, hitting Liberte' hard enough to cause him to spin. He moves sideways and stumbles into an empty chair. Sitting down hard, he looks at the bottle and pulls the cork with his teeth. With a toasting gesture to the room, he brings it to his lips and takes a swig.
Rission
Rission grabs his friend by the shoulder and hits the deck, hiding underneath the table. Waiting for an opening or lull in the fight, Rission weathers the storm until he can escape into the streets of Sharn.
"Ms. I'm not entirely sure if a woman of your stature should be staying the night at a place such as this. Perhaps we should head to the upper levels, maybe there's a better place up there?"
Taryn d'Lyrandar
"Yes, I believe a change of scenery is in order," Taryn answers as the violence begins, "let's see if we can get out of here safely..."
initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
The half-elf's hair crackles with tiny sparks as a fine mist gathers around him. "Stop!" he shouts as the room suddenly fills with vision-blocking fog. using obscuring mist SLA.
Carduus the Bemourned
Initiative: 1d20 ⇒ 8
Carduus reflexively ducks behind the nearest cover when the room erupts into violence. He sees Liberte' stumble off into the fray, his attempts at dodging blows and bodies grossly exaggerated by his drunkenness. Sh!t. Bastard's likely to get himself killed in his state. Carduus concentrates on the drunken man, shaping a tendril out of his own life essence and letting it escape to tether itself to Liberte'.
The last thing I need is your death on my conscience.
Beylinda Chumana
Init: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Oh Crap is pretty much the only thing that Beylinda thinks as the fight in the bar starts, with a quick eye she looks around the bar since she is close to it for anyone bringing more then a fist to this.

The Streets of Sharn. Harpoon.
Harpoon watches as the one known as Dagger recedes into the darkness of the night.
The enveloping darkness. How I love thee.
He hears the ruckus emanating from the inn, and shrugs.
Drinkers will drink, and drunks will fight.
Harpoon slings his weapon over his shoulder, and stares up at the skyline.
Lord of Blades indeed.
It was time to return to normalcy, the mundane...menial work of Haqueton's...job. Still, two things happened tonight - Harpoon saw a gunne, and met a Dagger. All in all, a good night for Sharn's Harpoon...
Exeunt
Harpoon will head home, keeping an eye out for opportunities to save small cats stuck in lamp-posts, ruffians to rumble or strange and intriguing events to spy on. Mostly though, he's just going to bed.

The Drunken Dragon - Dharakk, Rission, Taryn, Carduus, Liberte', Beylinda - Bar Fight
Dharakk, those you have been drinking with stand in place or shelter under a table, you see a line that may wel bring you out. Do you take it or wait for your potential comrades to head out with you? If you take it, make an Acrobatics check DC 13 to get out unscathed! Once your action is resolved, I'll move to Round 2.
The room begins to fill with mist at the echoing command of Taryn who resists Rission's attempt to pull him under cover. Of the twenty or so combatants a full half pause with chairs and bottles in hand. Unfortunately for them, the other half don't!
As the mist begins to fill the room, Rission turns to Beylinda, "Ms. I'm not entirely sure if a woman of your stature should be staying the night at a place such as this. Perhaps we should head to the upper levels, maybe there's a better place up there?"
Somehow Liberte' mnages to avoid the hooligans smashicng bottels and cracking skulls and he lands in a chair unmolested hos bottle of alcohol intact.
Beylinda though is watching the chaos around her to ensure no one brings arms to bear, from what she can see, no weapons have been drawn though the room IS quickly filling with mist.
Carduus ducks underneath the table that Rission intended to slide under and feel the connection take hold.
The brawl rages though at only half the deadly force that it potentially had thanks the power of Taryn's Mark.
However, the table that Rission and Carduus are hiding under collapses as a very large man drives a smaller man through it with a choke slam!
Make a Reflex saves DC 10 to roll out of the way of the collapsing table and now limp body Carduus and Rission.
Rission
Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
With the man collapsing the table, Rission hears his friend shout. Enough was enough, you would need some serious thunder to stop this racket. But he wasn't going to get caught in some bar brawl. He has a reputation to protect and a name to live up to.
"Nice work on the distraction Taryn, but we have to go. I don't think this place will have anything useful about your brother. At least not in it's current shape."
Move action stand up from prone, standard action ready to move out of the place with Taryn.
Beylinda Chumana
]For round two in order to stop the fighting in its tracks ie the Of the twenty or so combatants a full half pause with chairs and bottles in hand. Unfortunately for them, the other half don't
Beylinda will move and Cast a Color Spray (Will DC 15 with Arcane Reservoir) via her sword Bond to catch as many of those that didn't pause as possible and then Shouts: Enought !!! she shouts Everyone drops the chairs and everything else before the city guards get here, someone gets hurt or i use more Magic to Daze those that break the peace. And lets go back to drinking. Next round for everyone that comes to the bar now is on me. Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Carduus the Bemourned
ROUND 1 / Reaction
Carduus reflexively rolls to the side when the table collapses above him, barely escaping out from underneath the unconscious brawler.

"Move quickly for the door," Taryn instructs those around him, "with the fog you shouldn't have to worry much about being attacked unless you crash into some one."
After his brief exhortation he heeds his own advice and makes for the door, doing his best to avoid the few people still brawling.

Round 2
Determined to see the end of the Fight
Beylinda will cast A daze Spell (Will DC 13) on one of the remaining combatant, pull out her weapon and 5ft step forward
I have Had enough. I just incapacitated 6 of your friends. Do you still want to Encoure my Wrath ? This is your last warning. Drop your Weapon. and go home. No one has been hurt yet, no harm has been done. Everyone can leave with no repercussion she yells as the 5 remained armed men
Carduus the Bemourned
Carduus stands up into the mist, peering about to try to get a read on the situation. Seems like it's either about to be over or about to get a lot worse. He grunts with satisfaction as Liberte' seems to head for the door, the suddenly remembers the man who went through the table. He kneels down and inspects the unconscious man to ascertain how hurt he may be.
Heal check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 on unconscious man.

The Drunken Dragon - Dharakk, Rission, Taryn, Carduus, Liberte', Beylinda - Bar Fight
Most of the men see the opportunity and bolt from the tavern but Beylinda is not so inclined.
The man you target manages to shake off the effects of the spell and brandishes a table leg at Beylinda, "You want to fight, fight fair not with magics!"
He charges the "sorceress" with the table leg but misses by a mile striking one of the other patrons in the back to little effect.
As the medic inspects the man who went down, his good deed does not go unpunished as a flagon of ale just nearly misses his head! "I put 'im down and I'll pout you down too!" The man charges at the kneeling medic from 10' away!
Perhaps it is the display of so much magic but the fight seems about to settle down, well, with the exception of the man swinging the table leg at Beylinda and the man threatening Carduus!
Round 3! Carduus and Beylinda - Everyone else is out of combat unless you head back in.
Outside
Those of you outside have your sight of the scene within obscured by the Mist. You can clearly see though that neither the woman, Beylinda, nor the bandaged man, Carduus, have left the brawl.

Round 3
I fight with all the tools that i have learned, you can't tell a soldier to go out in a fight without half the weapons he was trained to fight in she replied
She is going to cast a touch of Fatigue, not casting defensively so go for your Aoo, using the blunt part of her weapon to cause subdual damage. Using Arcane Reservoir ton increase CL
Subdual Spell Strike Light Mace: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (13) + 3 - 4 = 121d6 ⇒ 3 subdual damage + Fatigued condition for 2 rd(Fort DC 13)
A fatigued character can neither run nor charge and takes a –2 penalty to Strength and Dexterity. Doing anything that would normally cause fatigue causes the fatigued character to become exhausted.

ROUND 3 / Initiative 8
Figures. Keeping his shield raised towards his assailant, Carduus severs the strand of life energy connecting him to Liberte' and creates a new one attached to the unconscious man at his feet.
At least that drunken idiot got himself out of - Carduus suddenly sees the unmistakable swaying form of Liberte' heading back through the mist towards him. You've got to be kidding me.
Taryn d'Lyrandar
Taryn cocks an eyebrow at his friend's chosen course of action. "Is it wise to fire that thing in the fog where you can't see what you might hit?" he asks. "The watch isn't likely to approve, and it may not reflect well on the House..."

The Drunken Dragon - Dharakk, Rission, Taryn, Carduus, Liberte', Beylinda - Bar Fight
Beylinda's assailant swings the table leg wide to the left and he is connected by the Mace. However, it seems the spell is what brings him low as his second swing simply fails to gain any momentum, he falls to his knees with labored breathing dropping that table leg to the floor, "Whatcha... huff huff.. whatcha do to me?"
Meanwhile Carduss' foe throws a haymaker at him connecting solidly on the shield with a thud, he screams out, "Yeaagh! Carduus guesses the man broke or at least severely bruised his hand.
Round 4
Liberte' you see through the fog that there is a man standing over Carduus who is on his knees shield over his head protecting himself.
Beylinda, Carduus, Liverte' GO!
Rission, do you fire that weapon?

Round 4
I just knocked the wind out of you for a few seconds. Since you are giving up and willing to end this fight then I'll End that magic she replied to him as she kick the Wooden leg away
if the bar fight isn't over Beylinda will do the following:
Before Casting the same spell (touch of fatigue) and moving toward the man assaulting Caduss using the blunt part of her weapon to cause subdual damage.
Subdual Spell Strike Light Mace: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 3 - 4 = 131d6 ⇒ 2 subdual damage + Fatigued condition for 1 rd(Fort DC 12)
A fatigued character can neither run nor charge and takes a –2 penalty to Strength and Dexterity. Doing anything that would normally cause fatigue causes the fatigued character to become exhausted.

ROUND 4 / Initiative 8
Carduus watches in a mix of disapproval and amusement as Liberte' stumbles forward, drawing his swords then suddenly spinning round wildly up to his attacker, apparently having tripped and only just managing to recover in his drunken stupor. The medic then focuses on dodging and blocking his assailant's attacks.
This guy is ridiculous!
Dragon Below: Please let me know if I take any damage from my Life Link with the unconscious man, and I'll update my HP total accordingly.
Taryn d'Lyrandar
perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Taryn listens intently but can't quite determine if the bar fight has truly ended... Either way, he looks to the woman who invited them to dinner to see if she is ready to head to the new establishment yet.
Rission
"Not to be the bearer of bad news but we have to wait for the Watch now. We're witnesses to property damage, and as large a group as we are, we are more or less known. But if we let the Watch know where we will be, I'm sure we can go to the upper levels."
Reslinging his musket, Rission sighs and scratches his head.
"Almost wasted a solid crown there. Ammunition for this thing is expensive."

Replacing his facial array, he turns and sorts through Harpoon's weaponry - javelins, spiked gauntlet, punching dagger- and of course, the harpoon. He sighs again and set to work.

Liberte' attempts to bring Carduus' assailant down and nearly brings himself down in the process. Still, the man's wild flailing forces the attacker to step right into Beylinda's blow.
His hand likely broken and now his body fatigued from magic the man goes limp and gives up, [b}"I yield!"[/b] he cries.
Brawl Over!
As the sounds of battle stop, the mist dissipates and the full extent of the damage can be seen both by those inside and those outside.
The proprietor looks to the Beylinda, "Great job! Free room board and meal for you tonight if you want it Lady!"
Do you wait here to see if the Watch arrives or head out?
Beylinda Chumana
Your Surrender is accepted she says to the man as she stowe her weapon away
She will help him up
May i buy you a drink, as a token of the truce ? she says to both men she smacked around
That is very gracious of you innkeeper i will take the free bedding as it doesn't cost you a thing but will pay for my food and drinks she says accepting his offer
She will of course stay for the evening
She turns toward the other men Carduus You ok there ? that was a nice thing to do to cover for the fallen men over here. Is he ok ?
Carduus the Bemourned
Carduus feels the harsh sting as his life energy swells and transfers through his link with the unconscious man, the man's wounds healing at Carduus's expense. He shrugs it off, however, as the woman combatant speaks to him.
"He'll be fine. I didn't really intend to cover him, his attacker just took offense that I was even bothering to check on him. I can't afford to let someone die right next to me in a barroom brawl; my credentials as a battlefield medic would probably suffer for it."
Carduus takes a seat on one of the few stools left upright after the fight and waits for the watch to arrive. "Hey 'Mr. Happy,' you may want to take off before the watch gets here - you're just as likely to get hit for excessive drunkenness and fighting as you are to be commended for trying to help out."
Liberte'
Liberte' says And let that be a lesson to you. The Earlier spin messes with his equilibrium and he takes a few steps sideways and backwards. No need to thank me Wraps, that's what friends are for. He turns for the door, and walks like a sailor on a rolling deck. He makes his way to Sebastian. It takes a few tries before Liberte' is mounted on the patient horse. The fighter heads off into the night trying to avoid obstacles that aren't really there
Taryn d'Lyrandar
Taryn shakes his head at the drunken 'hero' stumbling past him in the aftermath.
if this is the caliber of their heroes its no wonder my brother fell in with the wrong sort of people... of course, if I want to find him I may need to associate with these people as well...
Turning to the woman he asks, "Now that things have calmed down, is there anyone else here that you wish to invite to join us?"
