Together you manage to keep from getting lost again, you hear many odd sounds and roars as you make your way across the valley and through the jungle. Small creatures run by you quickly moving out of the way, bits of odd fruits sit rotting on the jungle floor.

It's unbearably humid and hot as you would expect and jungle to be, bugs much bigger than one's on the surface keep biting you and are unrelenting.

Everyone give me perception checks for while you travel.

Bela follows the group as they make their way through the jungle, notably less talkative than she was the previous day. It's partly due to the guilt she feels at getting them lost in the first place, partly because she's still thinking about Azruk's late-night "pep talk", but mostly because it's been a couple of days since she's had the chance to eat anything. She pauses at the sight of strange fruit on the ground, then gives a wistful sigh on noticing its spoilt state before moving on, taking a drink from her waterskin. At least there's plenty of water to go around. Could practically ring it out of the air down here.

Bela's first instinct is to politely refuse Artemis's generosity, but seeing the food he offers proves too great a temptation, even for one as selfless as she typically is. Instead, she gives the archer a grateful smile before helping herself to the dried fruit he extends, leaving the hardtack and jerky for him. "Thank you so much," she says, a note of surprise in her voice. She knew they were good guys before she set out on this journey with them, but the gesture spoke volumes about their character to her--especially considering their resources were limited, and who knew when they'd finally make it back to civilization.

Despite being ravenous, Bela eats slowly, making sure to draw out the meal by taking regular sips of water with each piece of fruit. "We didn't have much in the way of supplies when we fled, but I was lucky enough to find my pack with my things mostly untouched. I had a couple days worth of rations packed, but spread among so many people... it didn't last long. And then there were the wounded, who needed to eat more than I did..." As if realizing that she's giving a long, rambling explanation to a question no one raised, Bela shakes her head at her sudden wordiness, almost amused at the strange behavior hunger seems to bring on. "Anyway, the sooner we can get these people out of this place, the better off we'll all be."
