Things I didn't expect Shaggar to do: that.
Shaggar's growled warning rings out from the other side of the wall, then the party hears a metallic clunk of something dropping to the stone floor.
Attack of opportunity: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Her clawed fingers scrape off your armor to no effect, and you smash into her in a tangle of limbs and teeth and gnollish anger. Congratulations. You are holding a mummy. A mummy who just had, what, three hundreds pounds of humanoid mass and gear crash into her as dead hurtling weight? She is no longer holding onto the ladder, is what this boils down to.
Shaggar, climb check to get hold of something per 'catch yourself while falling'... I'm going to penalize you on this as you're trying to do this with your arms rather full at the moment... DC is 20: 1d20 + 11 - 5 ⇒ (20) + 11 - 5 = 26 you lucky son of a biscuit
Through luck of various gods, Shaggar manages to arrest his descent with a footclaw jammed into a rung of the ladder. He is now closer to a pharaoh than he likely ever expected he'd be. Namely, holding-her-in-his-arms close. She does not look pleased.
Concentration check to cast while grappled, DC is 10 + Shaggar's CMB vs Undead (+16) + spell level for a total of 30: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (19) + 14 = 33
Despite the steely arms locking her down, the pharaoh manages to snake one arm free, snatch components from a fold in her robes, and shout more words in Osiriani as she gestures.
The air above Shaggar ripples.... distorts... and there's now something above him. It looks like a humanoid cloud. It punches him in the back of the head.
Air elemental attack vs Shaggar's grappling, flat-footed (climbing) AC: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
(Shaggar auto-succeeds at the check to not-fall when taking damage while climbing. And yes, she did just cast a summon spell as a standard action, in case you thought that was an oversight.)
Heldar.... you feel your life link surge into being as Shaggar has just taken some damage. -5 HP to Heldar, +5 to Shaggar You can't see what's going on, but you can hear shouting of the spellcasting variety from somewhere behind the wall. You're up!
Javi and Lyrian may also act.

Ooops-- Shaggar, take another 2 points damage from the attack of the thing that hit you. I forgot it hits harder.
Lyrian Arkwright
Now aware of Shaggar's absence, Lyrian looks towards where everyone else is staring. "Really?" he says, half in annoyance and half in respect for the crazy bastard.
Bow out, he goes and sticks his head through the illusory wall.
Javi the Wasp
Javi is quick to respond to Shaggar’s words, only a half-second behind Lyrian. Once he realizes what’s happened, he barely pauses to consider the ramifications before grabbing an alchemist’s fire from his bandolier.
”Shaggar!” he calls out in Taldan, ”Hold on! It’s about to get a bit warmer down there.”
I updated Lyrian’s and Javi’s position on the maps. Javi basically moved into position and draw out an Alchemist’s fire.
GM Dien
"Shaggar is hurt" - Heldar warns the others.
I am not up yet?
Heldar.... you feel your life link surge into being as Shaggar has just taken some damage. -5 HP to Heldar, +5 to Shaggar You can't see what's going on, but you can hear shouting of the spellcasting variety from somewhere behind the wall. You're up!

Hehe, sorry Dien
Heldar dashes across the illusory wall also, taking a place next to Lyrian - "Where is he?"
I think Heldar won't see Shaggar, but he will see the sparkly particles, but do we recognize them as the Air elemental. Even better, are the sparkly things the Air Elemental? :D
If so:
Knowledge (Planes?): 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16

GM Dien
Okay, slight clarification here: The square Javi had himself in on the profile-view map is the same square that Lyrian was originally in on the aerial view map-- my apologies if that is confusing there on the map. But only one person can occupy that square, and as Javi was up in initiative first, I'm putting him into that square, so I tweaked positions as shown on the map
That said: Lyrian has only taken a move action at this point, as has Heldar, so both Lyrian and Heldar have their standard actions still if they wish to take them.
Javi, at least, can see down the shaft and see... a thing that looks like a living cloud, down the shaft, that is hitting Shaggar in the head.... and he can juuust see Shaggar, who is wedged awkwardly into the shaft, maybe holding onto something...?
Heldar, the sparkly particles do not look like an air elemental. The sparkly particles look more like dust... or glitter... or glittery dust...
Initiative:
Shaggar... grabbed a person
Ankana... cast a spell
Cloud boy... punched a Shaggar
>>Heldar... moved in, and...?
Javi... moved in, drew alchemist's fire
>>Lyrian... moved in, and...?
>>Rosalia... will resolve her actions after others.
GM Dien
Understood re: the holidays and everyone being busy, but I want to try to keep us from stalling to a stop. Going to go ahead with Rosalia's action, after which Shaggar may act. If Lyrian or Helder get in an action before I post with Ankana, fine and dandy.
"What is going on?" Rosalia says, half-startled and half-irritated, as people disappear through the wall. She moves through the wall, bumps into Lyrian, growls uncomplimentary things, and moves until she's standing in a clear space next to him. "Shaggar's down the hole?" she says with a confused blink.
Rosalia closes her eyes a fraction of a second as if concentrating, then begins casting a spell.
Rosalia moves in, uses a swift action to recall a spell via spell recall, and spends three arcane pool points to recall 'fly'. She would probably, realistically, cast this on herself, but frankly, I don't want to run the bulk of this combat as 'my villain, my villain's summoned creature, the PC I'm GMPCing, and Shaggar, with occasional ranged assistance from the rest of the party', soooo:
"Javi, you're smaller-- you can probably maneuver in that hole better," Rosalia admits (a little sullenly). "I'll touch you and you'll be able to fly."
Javi, you can move to Rosalia on your turn, in which case she'll deliver the held spell on you and you'll still have a move action left; or you can delay on your turn until she can move to cast it on you, which means you'll have your whole turn.
Shaggar, you're up!
Shaggar
Shaggar growls in Common to his allies "I've got an unwilling Osiriani girlfriend here." He tries to tightens his vice-like grip on the cadaverous woman as he says in the ancient tongue, "Surrender and you may yet live."

She doesn't actually look cadaverous at all. Or feel cadaverous, for that matter. But these are small details. Mostly she is struggling against Shaggar's powerful arms-- she is definitely stronger than she looks, but so far Shaggar has the upper edge...
"I will drive your ribs through the eyesockets of your friends," she responds in the old tongue, and tries to wrench free.
CMB to burst the grapple: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 Lol, no.
So far, she isn't having much luck.
The cloud above Shaggar's head loyally tries to strike at him again and free its mistress.
Wham, vs Shaggar's FF, grappling AC...: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22 Hit
Wham: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Arguably, I rolled four ones in that post. :P

"Now THAT I can do!" Javi replies as he hurls the alchemist fire down at the elemental. Pausing just a second to see if he hits, he darts back over to Rosalia, drawing his blade on the way.
Alchemist fire rules; including the penalty for throwing into melee (stupid ranged combat rules)
Ranged Touch Attack, vs Elemental: 1d20 + 12 - 4 ⇒ (6) + 12 - 4 = 14
Fire Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
GM Dien
Javi's alchemist's fire hurtles down the shaft, but the figure-made-of-clouds twists and dodges nimbly, and the bottle shatters on the wall of the shaft.
Given the close quarters, I am not going to bother rolling a miss chart-- 1 point fire damage to elemental and to Shaggar each
Javi the Wasp
Makes sense ... stupid bad throw!
Lyrian Arkwright
Lyrian recites a bit of old but beautiful celestial doggerel he once heard from his celestial grandmother, meant to quicken nerves and steady hearts.
Cast haste on the whole party.
Heldar
When Javi takes off, Heldar can step forward and peer towards the bottom, trying to see Shaggar - not sure if the light radius will reach him? If yes:
Peering down, Heldar notices the cloud-like creature assailing Shaggar - with a series of complex gestures, he summons a longsword made of pure force to attack it, trying to offer his companion some respite.
Move: Getting closer to the edge
Standard: Casting Spiritual Weapon (+6to hit / d8+2 to damage)
Spiritual Longsword Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
GM Dien
Lyrian calls upon magical speed, and everyone finds themselves moving faster!
Heldar's mystical link continues to function, healing Shaggar some and draining away a bit of the oracle's energies in turn. -5 Hp to Heldar, +5 HP to Shaggar The oracle also calls a weapon of pure force into being, but it swings and misses the cloud-creature it goes off Heldar's Charisma rather than his Wisdom, and that makes enough of a difference for it to hit the cloud creature. Remember we said you can use CHA, not WIS, for the to-hit bonus. So you're rocking a +10, not a +6, with spiritual weapon.
Rosalia touches Javi, and he is now lighter than air! The wasp can fly.
"There's not much else I can do right now!" Rosalia shouts after discharging her spell onto Javi. "I can't get in there to attack, and most of my spells require me to get in there with my sword!"

Suddenly preoccupied by intense feelings of hasty-osity and flyeeness, Javi buzzes past the group once again and disappears down the shaft.
THE WASP LIVES!!!!
He plummets down behind the elemental, taking advantage of its preoccupation with Shaggar to stab it in its airy soft parts.
I don't think Shaggar gives Javi a flank when he's grappled, but if I'm wrong, add +2 to attack and I'll roll the Sneak Attack separately. Also, I'm posting from my phone and can't update the map.
Power Attack on the air elemental.
+1 scimitar: 1d20 + 13 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 13 - 2 = 19
damage: 1d4 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 4 = 13
sneak attack damage: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 2) = 8
Javi the Wasp
GM Dien
Shaggar, I'm going to rule you can't Power Attack for the auto-damage, since you don't have to make an attack roll to hit. So less 6 damage, but mmm, tasty undead mummy flesh.
Javi: alas, no flanking, as Shaggar has his arms very full. And also, meta-wise, it's an elemental, so you wouldn't get sneak attack anyway. I moved you on the map, though.
Shaggar maintains his iron grip, and takes a bite out of crime undeath! She does indeed taste awful, even though she looks okay. Her flesh is hard and dessicated, like chewing through the stiffest of dehydrated meat, and he doesn't think he hurt her as much as he was aiming to do.
She tries again to rip free.
Ankana: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 C'mon now, this is embarrassing
The cloud-creature continues its simple, if effective, assault on the creature holding its mistress.
Vs Shaggar's FF/grappling AC: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30 ...if I had rolled that 19 for her she would have gotten loose. Fortunately I am an honorable GM.
Damage to Shaggar: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
The cloud seems to be settling into its stride.... Javi takes that opportunity to dive-bomb it! His scimitar looks like it's on a perfect arc to connect, but the roiling winds whipping off the creature seem to make his balance unexpectedly wobbly in mid-air, and his blade misses.

Lyrian leans over the open space and fires his bow rapidly down into the shaft.
1st shot, +1 shock greenwood composite longbow w/ Point-Blank Shot, Precise Shot, archaeologist's luck and haste: 1d20 + 10 + 1 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 10 + 1 + 3 + 1 = 321d8 + 3 + 1 + 4 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 1 + 4 + 1 + (5) = 18
2nd shot, +1 shock greenwood composite longbow w/ Point-Blank Shot, Precise Shot, archaeologist's luck and haste: 1d20 + 10 + 1 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 10 + 1 + 3 + 1 = 241d8 + 3 + 1 + 4 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 1 + 4 + 1 + (5) = 19
Assuming the undead is affected by electricty and that her AC is 24 or less, she took 37 points of damage (of which 10 was electricity). If 24<AC<33, she took 18 points, 5 of which were electricity).
GM Dien
Lyrian, can you break down your damage for me?
1d8+3 = +1 composite bow, +1 = PBS, + 4 + 1 = ?
Archaeologist's luck accounts for 3 of that, as far as I know (+2 luck bonus, +1 boost to luck bonus), but you're still dealing an extra 2 points of damage I don't see accounted for.
First arrow will hit, second arrow will not, due to what I'm going to rule as a -8 improved cover penalty, as you barely have a clean shot down the shaft, given your starting angle, and Javi and an air elemental and Shaggar's big body pretty much completely filling the shaft and the target being beneath all that. Not all of the 18 damage goes through, but you take a chunk out of her.
Heldar, you're up.
Lyrian Arkwright
Hrrrm...
Yeah.... I have no idea. I'm wondering if I tried to add a bonus for Deadly Aim (which Lyrian ain't got.)
It should be: 1d8 (arrow) +3 (Str mod and +1 weapon) + 1 (Point-Blank Shot) + 3 (archaeologist's luck and Fortune's Favorite) +1d6 (frost), for a total of 1d8+7+1d6.
Mea culpa.
So if the first shot hit, it would be 16 points of damage, including 5 electricity
GM Dien
No worries, Lyrian, probably an artifact from some buff that applied previously that never got taken off. Happens to me often enough.

Anyway, you see Rosalia.... wrestling with the lid of the sarcophagus, trying to drag it open. She freezes a half-second, staring wide-eyed at you. Root is mewing in concern at her feet, seeming to skittishly come close to her, then darting away.

You have a standard action. Use it well. :P
Heldar
Hoping this makes sense, since I am 'pretty sure Rosalia isn't acting entirely in her right mind', though even Heldar is not sure if his own action will make sense :D Assuming it may be a good idea after what we went through in the room with the basin though, mainly Rosalia.
The oracle's eyes take on a somber look - "Rosalia, what are you doing?" - then he takes a look around the room, looking for something out of place.
Even so, he does not hesitate and moves toward her, casting a protective spell without a second thought - "What is going on here?"

Rosalia flinches at his touch, pulling back and continuing to try and pull off the lid of the sarcophagus. "Leave me alone!" she snaps at him.
(Nothing seems out of place in the room. Through the open doorway, the battered and knocked-over 'bowl' is still visible. The egg-device seems intact. The crystal cage with its stone woman inside is unbroken.)
From the other side of the illusory wall, everyone can hear the following exchange:
(Heldar) "Rosalia, what are you doing? What is going on here?"
(Rosalia) "Leave me alone!"
Shaggar, you're up....
GM Dien
Welp. Hope we get Shaggar back. :(
Shaggar snarls as his quarry squirms in his arms. "What is going on up there?" he yells in frustration. "I'd come up to see, but I have my hands full!"
And his mouth, as he tears again into dessicated flesh.

ZZAAAP! Both of Lyrian's arrows hit in streaks of lightning, one of them burying itself in the undead creature's eyesocket as she tries to squirm loose. It would be a killing blow on anyone human, who needed their brain; Ankana seems less bothered by it, though her skin is charred and blackened and she is definitely the worse for wear. Between the arrows and Shaggar's jaws, she is getting fairly near to death. Well, technically she passed death a while ago, but you know what we mean.
Javi has gotten more of his bearings now in midair and slashes twice, with excellent aim, at the cloud-creature. His scimitar bites, though he feels it does just a hair-less damage than it should, due to the way the two foes are tumbling around in the air of the shaft. The elemental looks near dispersion, but is still just barely 'alive', by whatever rubric one measures such things.
Heldar... your glowing weapon actually floats out through the wall and rejoins you, taking up a position by your head. You do manage to get a very firm grip on the lid of the sarcophagus, at least. A little more of your life force bleeds out.... You have now taken 20 damage from your lifelink, Heldar.
(Spiritual Weapon: If the weapon goes beyond the spell range, if it goes out of your sight, or if you are not directing it, the weapon returns to you and hovers.)
Everyone hears Heldar say: "Rosalia, what are you doing? Why are you opening this thing now when we need your help over there?"

"--damn. Belay that," Shaggar yips with a blink, as he loses his grasp on the undead queen, and she drops out of his hands, falling down below. "Pharoah's free!!"
Javi and Shaggar, at least, can see Ankana plummeting down the shaft to land forty feet below. She makes no move to try and catch herself on the ladder's rungs. She hits with a dry cracking and crunching noise, but seems to still be moving... barely.
Falling damage to Ankana: 4d6 - 5 ⇒ (1, 2, 2, 6) - 5 = 6
Shaggar snarls his irritation with this turn of events, debating whether to follow down to try and dispatch the pharoah, or to do something about the air elemental that's been plaguing him for so long. He looks up through the semi-transparent clouded body at his small, flying friend, and grunts as he draws his axe.
"So you're a wasp in truth now. Go help Heldar... and get out of the range of princess's spells," the gnoll rasps to his halfling buddy. Obviously Javi is under no obligation to follow this advice...
Down below... one of the pharoah's arms seems badly disjointed, as that is the shoulder Shaggar's been gnawing on, and the impact seems to have shaken it loose. This does not appear to bother her, any more than the arrow jutting out of her eye socket that Lyrian gave her. She scrapes herself up into a standing position, bares her teeth in a grimace, and calls a spell into being. "Die," she shouts, her voice echoing up the shaft.
Shadowy tendrils erupt from the walls at the top of the shaft, lashing out in all directions... trying to wrap around Javi and Shaggar, but erupting far enough that even Lyrian and Heldar are caught in the sudden wash of ebon tentacles.

Then again, to Heldar and Rosalia, the tentacles appear to burst out of a wall without any warning, so perhaps that's explanation enough for why the two of them are the only ones actually caught in the clammy grip of tentacles.
Damage to Heldar, Rosalia, and Rook: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 *wince* Sorry, Heldar. I believe that puts you at -6, yes?
Rosalia screams angrily as the tentacles wrap around her-- and her cat!
Seemingly unbothered by the tentacles, the air elemental continues its mindless assault on Shaggar.
Vs Shaggar: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13 Miss
Initiative:
Shaggar... failed to maintain a grapple, drew weapon
Ankana... fell, stood, cast
Cloud boy... punching
>> Heldar... unconscious, I believe, and grappled
>> Javi...
>> Lyrian...
>> Rosalia... (grappled)
Everything in the black circle on the map is difficult terrain at this point. When or if Lyrian or Javi go through the wall, they will see that Heldar is, I believe, unconscious, and looks pretty badly off, and is probably going to get squeezed hard again by those tentacles... just pointing it out.
Heldar, Javi, and Lyrian are up, though I believe all Heldar can do is make me a stabilization check.

Will do on the dialogues that everyone would hear Dien ;)
On the hp: Heldar had taken a total of 37 points of damage, correct? 20 from Life Link and 17 from Rosalia's attack? If he takes another 10 from the tentacles he should be at 4/51?

Heldar: my bad on your HP! I was counting wrong. Yes, you are correct, you should still be in the positives. Yay! Minor retcon of what I said above, etc.
Regarding the sarcophagus/action: Rosalia goes after you in initiative. On a previous turn she had started opening the sarcophagus; on your turn you rolled the 20 to keep it from opening further/shove the lid back, etc. If you HADN'T had your hand there providing opposition, she would have opened it the rest of the way. Instead, since you were now stopping her from opening it, she attacked you on her turn.

Got it Dien ;)
So, if I understand grappled correctly, I can only cast spells without somatic components, so healing is out of the question. However, I can still channel, right? I don't think I need a concentration check, but if I do:
Concentration Check: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26
The situation is dire to say the least, but the Oracle's main concern is not his own safety but his companion's - his life has been punctuated by the good of others, and even though the choice between saving himself or others had never needed to be made in such relevant terms, this time he did not even hesitate.
Feeling the grasp of the conjured, monstrous tentacles, he understod their strength, and was almost sure his companions could stand in their grasp for a few more moments, but Rook probably would not - "Try to release yourself Rook, and run away from here" - he spoke, knowing the cat was much more intelligent than an average animal, but still not sure he would understand.
Focusing on himself, a burst of warm light surges from Heldar, healing all the companions around him, and himself.
Channel: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 6, 1) = 19
Move: None
Standard: Channel with 'Selective Channeling' to exclude as many tentacles as possible? Not even sure they can be healed
Note: WOW, nice channel. Everyone heals 19hp, Heldar heals 27 points of damage due to Fey Foundling. Not sure if this affects Javi or Shaggar, but I guess Rosalia, Heldar, Rook, and Lyrian are affected.

Line of sight, yes, but I'm giving her improved cover due to the weird angle of the shaft and the fact that it's very full of a Shaggar.
Heldar: no need to worry about either a concentration check or excluding the tentacles. They're not 'creatures', just a spell effect, and you can use Supernatural (Su) abilities without needing concentration checks. Javi is definitely caught in it (though I don't think he's injured); Shaggar is not as he's too far down the shaft.

”Fine!” Javi replies darkly to Shaggar as he rips off a few choice curses in halfling. ”But if you die, I’ll kill you.”
He levels one last slash at the elemental before zipping back up out of the shaft and towards whatever situation is occurring in the egg-and-sarcophagus room.
Attack elemental (power attack, haste) then fly back up to see how he can help Heldar/Rosalia (which should provoke from the elemental … can I Acro to avoid whilst Flying?.
+1 scimitar: 1d20 + 13 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (10) + 13 - 2 - 2 = 19
damage: 1d4 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 7 + 4 = 14
Acro, to avoid AoO’s, if possible: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (16) + 18 = 34
Secondly, can this roll be used to avoid being Tentacle-grappled? Or is there enough vertical clearance in the room to be able to avoid the grasping tentacles but still get adjacent to both the sarcophagus and Rosalia?
I have Javi ending next to Rosalia (map is updated). Let me know what actions or rolls Javi would need to make to get there.

"I've got it covered," says Lyrian, keeping up his fire.
1st shot, +1 shock greenwood composite longbow w/ Precise Shot, archaeologist's luck and haste: 1d20 + 10 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 10 + 3 + 1 = 191d8 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (8) + 6 + (6) = 20
2nd shot, +1 shock greenwood composite longbow w/ Precise Shot, archaeologist's luck and haste: 1d20 + 10 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 10 + 3 + 1 = 341d8 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 6 + (4) = 16
Confirm Critical Hit: 1d20 + 10 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 10 + 3 + 1 = 342d8 + 12 ⇒ (1, 8) + 12 = 21
First shot probably misses. Second shot is two natural 20's for 37 points of damage, 4 of which are electricity.

Javi, you have two -2s in your attack roll. I'm pretty that sure was a typo and one of them was supposed to be a +1 for haste. A 19 will not hit the elemental, but a 22, which I think is what your total should be, will. Correct me if you had some other reason for needing another -2.
Javi's scimitar gets in a parting shot-- and it's a nice one. It slices through the cloud body, which dissipates into a misty formlessness with a sad trombone noise. Shaggar grins his thanks up at Javi as Javi tears off into the other room.
Javi: You don't need to make an acrobatics roll to move through the tentacles-- they will try and grapple against your CMD, on Ankana's turn in initiative. (Regardless of if she is actually still alive-- the spell effect continues its duration.) They do go all the way to the ceiling, and they are considered difficult terrain, but with your hasted speed, not a problem to get where you want to go. In short: you're good.
Javi plunges through one mass of tentacles, through the illusory wall, and into another mass of tentacles, and spots Heldar and Rosalia with the tentacles wrapped around them both. (Rook too.)
Meanwhile, Lyrian coolly lines up another shot-- ignoring the tentacles, aiming past Shaggar, and.... thwiiip! The arrow that he sent into the pharaoh's right eye socket earlier is joined by an arrow in the left eye socket. It couldn't have been more neatly placed if he had spent an hour arranging it just so. Ankana's mocking laughter dies abruptly, electricity ravaging her body as she drops to the floor, twitching.
Shaggar arches his brows up at Lyrian's beautiful shot and gives him a nod of thanks. "Saved me from falling on her again," he rasps.
On the other side of the room, Rosalia seems to be freaking out. Her focus on the sarcophagus has been forgotten in favor of her familiar. "Rook!" she screams, trying to reach her small, furry, tentacle-wrapped cat. "Hang on, I'm coming!"
Rosalia escape artist: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Rook is a ball of yowling cat, try to escape as well.
Rook escape artist: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
End that round, start of next round...
Shaggar grimaces as he looks up at the tentacles writhing around. "I don't help anyone if I get caught in that," he growls, and climbs down a few feet to be below the reach of the writhing tentacles, though only Lyrian can see him at the moment. "What's the situation up there?"
The situation is... that the tentacles are trying to grab people again.
Grope, round 2: 1d20 + 7 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 7 + 4 + 1 = 18 An additional +5 vs Heldar, Rosalia, and Rook, for a 23. Lyrian and Javi are not caught; Heldar, Rosalia, and Rook remain grappled, and take another...
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 points of damage.
Fortunately, Heldar's powerful healing of a few seconds ago means that nobody is in immediate danger of death at the moment.
